"The other ten percent is because I'm shady, isn't it?" She mused. She then shook her head a bit before she brushed her hair back over her shoulder. "Good or bad, puns are still terrible." Claude side stepped the attack with ease, and just out of habit, fired off another shot at him...even as he tipped sideways. Oops. "You just can't stay away from the ground." HP: 13 / 40DMG: 3

"That's exactly it," said Chance, with a deadpan expression. "Shady as all hell."
He was really getting well acquainted with the grass. Chance dragged himself vertical again, wincing slightly, and passed an amused look in Claude's direction as he readjusted the bow. Dragging an arrow into existence, he notched it carefully and took a mildly labored breath, firing in the direction of Claude's arm.
"It is apparently my destiny to be best buddies with the ground, yes."

That was another one that stung, though definitely not as bad as the one to the knee. Claude shook her arm a bit, and fired at him again, only to miss entirely. Was it bad she wasn't upset about missing anymore? Part of her felt that she should be, but it just happened so much she didn't think it was worth it to be. "Keep it up, and I'm going to think you like sparring with it better than me." Her lips quirked up again briefly. HP: 10 / 40DMG: 0kuroopu /continues to stare off into the distance

Claude's next shot missed him entirely, for which Chance was secretly grateful. The look he gave her was an amused one, a grin forming on his lips to match the faint one on hers. He fired off an arrow towards her, but it only grazed.
"Well, ground does have it's advantages," he said. "But I think I prefer human contact, really."

Claude fired off another shot, and it too, missed. She then had to ask herself again if she really was trying, but she indeed, was. She was. She honestly couldn't explain the ninety percent miss rate. She chuckled, softly, and then tilted her head a bit. "I hope you didn't have anything pressing to do today." Because really. Look at them. The bullet whistled past him, far away from him, and Chance gave Claude a look as though to say are you seriously trying or are you actually just shooting randomly, one eyebrow raised and a look of amusement in his eyes.
"Nope," he said airily, shrugging his shoulders, a faint grin worming its way onto his face. "Not in the slightest."
Then he shot her in the leg.

Claude raised a hand and gave him a look back that said hey I am not trying to miss you. "Oh good." Apparently the legs was just her weak point in general. Chance landed a pretty solid hit that had her staggering again. While tipping she fired off a shot, and that one definitely missed. "Who's getting all bad a** now?" HP: 2 / 40DMG: 0kuroopu 3 misses in a row...she rolled a total of 6 three times in a row.../eyes Claude funny...Evil

Chance spread his arms out on either side of him, the bow disappearing with a gust of displaced air and a dim flash of white light. He bent over in a bow towards her and then straightened, laughter escaping from his throat.
"I think," he said, rubbing a hand over his stomach, "that this is a good place to stop, wouldn't you say?"

Briefly she seemed surprised when he dismissed his weapon, and paused as she watched him bow. Briefly, very briefly, she had wanted to say 'no, let's finish it', but hey. She was in a good mood, and thus, she felt pretty agreeable to it. It was rather...nice of him, she supposed, that he called a finish while they both still had some of their shields intact instead of annihilating her completely (like some douche by the name of Finn). "Agreed." She lowered her weapon, and it too disappeared, resuming its form of a ruby ring on her finger. There was a moment before she also uttered. "Thanks." For the spar.

Chance ran a hand through his curly hair and then let it drop to his side, giving Claude an amused look from where he stood, somewhere across the field from her.
"You're welcome," he said, and then, after a moment's contemplation, "I think I'm gonna go grab something to eat. You up for joining me, Captain?"

It was Claude's turn to give a moment's contemplation, and after some time she gave a nod of her head, and a small smirk. "Alright." The Captain name didn't hurt either. "The food will be better with the company." She flipped her hair over her shoulder, and then made a thumb towards the cafeteria. "Shall we?"
