Jasmine noticed this and smiled a bit noticing how cute he was when he was asleep. She then took a deep breath and carefully got some hair out of his face. Her ears went back as she thought to herself 'He's so sweet when he sleeps.' Then she carefully placed her hand on his hand and started to purr as she did. She had not purred in a long time, not since she found out she couldn't control her powers.

Dust soon woke up feeling something holding his hand as well as a purring sound, when Sust opened his eyes he saw that it was Jasmine that was holding his hand and purring. Dust didn't want to scare her so he did is best not to move

Jasmine sensed he was awake. She took her hand off his and said "Sorry Dust....I didn't mean to wake you up." She looked down hoping he wasn't mad. You could tell she was in love with him and didn't want to hurt him in any way. Her ears were back in sadness as she sat there gripping her shirt collar tightly. She was really sorry for what she had done.

Dust sat up causing the blanket to slaide off him, Dust always slept without a shirt but forgot to wear one when he wasn't home. He reached over to Jasmine giving her a hug and pets her head a little "its ok Jasmine, I'm not mad so don't worry ok"

Jasmine blushed as he held her to him in a hug. She hugged him back, softly and nodded as he pet her head. She dried her tears as she stayed close to him. "Dust....I love you....I'll understand if you don't feel the same way....But I had to get it off my chest. Kyo told you how I was half vampire on my dad's side and half neko on mom's side right? Well....it's true. That's why I don't smile anymore, because I'm scared that no one will understand. Ever since I met you as a kid, I wanted to be with you.....I just didn't know how to tell you. I love you Dust....Always have always will. I just didn't think you'd love me if you knew the truth. Kyo is only my half brother but he still cares about me. Had it not been for him, I wouldn't be here with you. Mom and dad...they don't care enough about me to even wish me a happy birthday. They only pretned to. They are ashamed of me for being what I am......" She explained as she hugged him and buried her face in his chest crying softly. "I don't want to hurt anymore Dust.......I want to be like everyone else, happy with the one I love."

Jasmine calm down, Kyo told me some of that and its ok" Dust keeps petting Jasmine for a bit "as for your feelings Jasmine I can't return them, not at the moment anyways. I'm not ready to got out with someone yet"

Jasmine's heart shattered at his words. "Oh......" was all she could say. She did calm down however. She wanted a normal life....then again.....who could love a monster like her was all that came into her mind.....'He's just like everyone else......' was what she thought to herself. She then got up and left without a word. No one knew where she as over the next few days as she wasn't in school. She had no idea what to do now. "How can anyone love me?" was all she could say. She wasn't crying but holding in her pain. Her eyes were no longer the same. They seemed more depressed than ever. Not even Kyo could help her now. He tried everything.
Later that day, Jasmine sneaked out of her room without anyone seeing her and went to the woods in the back of their house. She would never do this and never had before. She thought it would be best if she left. She wasn't smiling at all anymore. Not even for Kyo.

Dust kept on petting Jasmine's head a little longer before she got up and left, Dust sighs a bit it hope she would feel better. Before Dust knew it Kyo had told him something was wrong and that Jasmine was not her self anymore, Dust would come by and see if he could do anything to help but soon he found out that Jasmine was not home

Kyo was worried about his little sister. "This doesn't make sense.....Where would she go?" He asked himself as he and Dust looked all over for her. Meanwhile, there were Rumors in school about a monster living in the woods and that it had already killed some animals on farms near by the woods. Jasmine was the monster they were talking about. She was currently covered in animal blood and was in an old shed, she couldn't control herself anymore. Kyo and Jasmine's parents knew this day would come. But their mother was really worried. They had given up all hope of finding her and were planning her funeral once they had something to tell them she was really gone.
Jasmine wasn't in the best of shape. Her fangs had grown and she had gone feral over the past few days. She then sniffed the air as she searched for her next meal. The forest was quiet, too quiet as she silently leaped through the trees in her panther form, prowling, keeping an eye on her territory.

Dust was helping Kio find her sister all over town but so far no luck, but when they herd rumors of something that was happening in the woods both Kio and Dust head out to the woods to see what was up
