Matthew Nicholas Chadwick Matthew chuckled, shaking his head "I thought it would be a lot harder to pick than that" He said before looking over at the nurse, he hadn't even realised how much time had passed, he looked at the time on his laptop, still unable to believe that it was that late already, Matthew looked over at Satoru and gave him a small smile "I'll see you later" He waited a few seconds before speaking again "Thanks for coming, by the way" Matthew mumbled, he was a bit sad that Satoru was leaving but he had said that he was going to visit Matthew again so he wasn't too worried. Matthew hoped that the nurse wouldn't take away his laptop just yet so he could start a game on this, he was excited to play it, he could also get to work on finding a place to hide his laptop.

Satoru gave a huge pout and said, "Then I'll just be giving my farewells..." The nurse walked off after being assured that he would leave. "I'll be bringing back goodies! And no prob! What are friends for?" Satoru bent down and gave him a gentle hug, not sure if he was hurt some why, then blushing he hurried out.

Matthew Nicholas Chadwick Matthew was thankful when the nurse walked away, he would be able to have his laptop for a little longer. Matthew smiled when Satoru mentioned 'goodies', he was excited to see what the other boy would see when he came to see him again "I'm looking forward to it" He smiled a little bit bigger than he probably should have when Satoru referred himself as a friend. Matthew was a bit surprised when Satoru gave him a hug, he hadn't been expecting it but he recovered quickly enough to hug him back, he didn't even notice how gentle the other was being, he watched as Satoru rushed out, wondering if it had been a blush that Matthew seen on his face, he shook his head, it was silly to think something like that. Matthew quickly got to work with finding a hiding spot, rushing to hang his legs off of the bed which he immediately regretted, he winced before staying still for a while, he had gritted his teeth to avoid letting out any noise, once Matthew recovered he decided that the drawer next to his bed which held his shirts would be big enough for his laptop, he could hide it under his clothing. Matthew slowly put his legs back onto the bed before starting up the game, even though he was feeling tired.

The boy was still blushing when he left the building. He hadn't exactly been blushing about the hug, it was the thought of doing something else that had crossed his mind. He hadn't wanted... to kiss Matthew on the forehead... but that might make Matty hate him and he didn't want that. Whether because of the dare, or Satoru's new found friendship. Satoru went back to his house, taking a soak to cool his nerves. Afterward he got to bed and started reading some Bleach.

Matthew Nicholas Chadwick Matthew eventually decided to go with Elsword, he had gotten irritated at his fussiness and just randomly clicked one of the characters, he was happy with any of the characters so it didn't matter which one he ended up with, he played for a while before Matthew could feel himself getting tired but tried to fight it, he hated how he would get tired so easily and he ended up falling asleep earlier than usual, a nurse had came in to tell him that it was time for lights out but when she saw he had fallen asleep she closed his laptop before putting it on the small table next to the bed, not seeing a reason to take it away from him. Matthew ended up dreaming of going back to school and becoming better friends with Satoru.

Before Satoru could finish the last chapter of his manga, his mother came in and stole it! He was just about to find out what Ichigo's true zanpaktou was gonna be too... this was so frustrating! The anticipation kept the teenager up for most of the night when he finally did fall asleep his mom gently set the book down on his desk before kissing his forehead. Satoru woke up pretty late, luckily is was a saturday... but it was already past noon. While he ate 'breakfast' his mind was groggy. He came back up to his room and glanced at the time. Oh no! It was so late and matthew was probably waiting for him! Satoru hurried to gather all of his stuff up and get on a subway to the hospital.

Matthew Nicholas Chadwick When Matthew woke up he was shocked to see his laptop was actually in arms reach, he slowly sat up, using to bed rest to support his back before pulling the laptop onto his lap, Matthew opened it before continuing with his game, he wondered when Satoru would come over, or if he would come over, he wouldn't be surprised if he ended up not coming, he would just spend his day like he usually did, a nurse interrupted his train of thought when she handed him his medication, Matthew easily swallowed them, he was used to it now, he was forced to put his laptop away as he ate his breakfast, which was, as usual terrible, he wasn't able to eat much and requested that someone took it away. Once he was alone Matthew returned to playing the game, determined to get his level up, he didn't even notice that morning had turned into noon but he did get distracted every once in a while when he spared a few seconds to look up at his door to see if Satoru would be there, he felt a little disappointed every time he looked over to see that the other boy wasn't there.

Satoru didn't get to the hospital until at least two. He ran up to the elevator to get to the floor, but the elevator was busy. He ended up taking the stairs which was pretty exhausting. He came to the door, swinging it open he rushed in, falling onto the bed with exhaustion, sort of like yesterday. "Here I am~" He huffed, sweat dripping down his brow.

Matthew Nicholas Chadwick Matthew wasn't expecting Satoru to run in and flop onto his bed but at least he was here, he had managed to move his legs out of the way in time, he had moved them a little to quickly but he managed to hide the fact that it hurt and it soon faded "Did you run up here?" Matthew asked, giggling at the other boys exhaustion "Why didn't you just take the elevator or walk instead of running?" He continued, putting the laptop to the side, he was glad that Satoru had came, even if it had took him a while but Matthew was glad he didn't have to worry about it being a one time visit any more.

"'cause... I was late! That's really rude, especially since I overslept!" He explained, he didn't want to hurt Matthew's feelings or anything. That was definitely the last thing he wanted to do. Satoru sat on the edge of the bed and asked Matthew what he was up to.

Matthew Nicholas Chadwick Matthew smiled "I don't mind, you can take as long as you need" He assured, he felt happy that Satoru had rushed over once he found out he was late, it made him feel like he was actually someone important, when Satoru asked what he was doing he pointed at his laptop "I've been playing Elsword all day, the nurse actually left my laptop next to my bed so I didn't have to wait long before I could play it without being interrupted by a bunch of nurses" He explained "It's a really fun game" Matthew admitted, he hadn't expected to play it so much but there wasn't much else for him to do.

"It's one of my new favorites ever since it hit the internet! I love doing the combos of the second job advancement, you get it when you reach level... 18, I think?" Satoru smiled. He was happy that Matthew was interested in the same things as him, it made him feel good inside that he had helped the fellow out.

Matthew Nicholas Chadwick "It's defientley became one of my favourite games" Matthew said, he was excited to reach level 18, he would have to try to stay up late tonight to get it "Thanks for showing me the game, I probably would've been bored without it" Matthew admitted, he had a few other games on his laptop but he had gott bored of them quickly, he had been searching for a good game to play for a while. Matthew soon became aware of how hot it was in the room, he was tempted to pull the bed sheet off of his legs but they were constantly bruised and Matthew didn't even like to look at them "So, what level is your character?" He asked, trying to get his mind off of the heat.

"Hmm... Last time I was online I was at level 26. Unfortunately, my mom's gonna make me get a part-time job at her brother's restaurant... I have to start next monday and it's cutting back on my free time!" Satoru didn't want to mention that he was also getting hounded on studies since that make Matthew get upset.

Matthew Nicholas Chadwick "Your level is way higher than mine" Matthew thought out loud, he then listened to Satoru "At least you'll be making some money" He assured, trying to find the bright side of it, he knew that free-time could be limited with just school, he couldn't imagine doing a part-time job on the side "Good luck with it, I would never be able to do something like that, even if I wasn't in here" Matthew admitted, he did admire Satoru for it, even if it was his his mother that was forcing him to go.
