Mappel blushed and was almost taken by her seductiveness when her lips touched his. Then suddenly she screamed and jumped back. It was clear this woman wasn't Human, he could tell now.
Getting up, the elf walked over to her and gently offered his hand to help the woman up. "It's alright, you feeling alright now?" he asked sweetly. After all it was rude to ask personal questions to someone you just met.
He was shaking a little, but glad her seduction spell was over with. If something would have happened to where she would have ended up carrying his offspring he would feel so bad. Mappel wanted a family, but he wasn't going to take advantage of someone to have one.

Her worried black eyes looked up at him, they didn't seem be changing back to her usual green he knew anytime soon. "No.. it's not alright... I didn't mean to do that, I don't know what came over me" well infact she did know why she did it, but just wasn't going to tell him. The situation was weird enough.
Feeling terrible about the whole thing, her shaky hands removed something from her person, a money pouch full of gold coins. "Here... take this" she told him, throwing the bag of gold at him. "I don't need it anyway... I'm so sorry..." Elvara then clutched at her head, this was torture, she thought she was over all the seduction stuff. Why did she drink blood with another being around? It was so stupid.
"I can't do this anymore" she whispered to herself.

Mappel sighed when she tossed him coin. Yet thanked her gently picking it up. Watching her looking so upset, he bent down and hugged the poor woman. "You're lonely aren't you?" he asked her in a gentle voice. "Shhh..it's alright, I'll be your friend Elvara. You seem like a very nice woman."
Mappel was a bit too trusting, but he didn't care. "I don't mean to be rude but..you aren't a Human now are you? I-I don't mean to pry, but you just seem different." he asked still gently hugging the woman to try and calm her nerves.

He got it spot on, she was lonely. There had been no visitors to this home since the day of her mortal death. Although back in the day she was a highly feared killer for many generations of people, some called her a black widow because she mainly targeted married men. Snatching lives from their loved ones, the exact same that happened in her past. During their hug, her body started to shift in shape. Her body was much more well endowed now, all the colour from her hair was washed out, leaving it jet black. Elvara's skin looked to fragile and pale now, like a china doll. Her eyes were still solid black though from the blood, that she had no control of.
"I'm a vampire..." the woman announced to him softly with her arms limp at her side. Touching him might freak him out or something, she wasn't going to attack him or anything, there was no need. The vampire wasn't hungry right now. Listening to his friend comment, she used his hand to grab at his blade and dig it into her side a little "if you want to do something as my friend... then kill me... please.."

Iris was just finishing her breakfast when she heard a few raps on the shop door. Setting down her fork she had strode to the door. Swinging it open she glared into the eyes of a pair of elves. "Don't ya know what time it is? I don't open fer another half an hour." grumbled Iris as she pointed at the gruel on her table. " "Many apologies milady" said the male elf, swooping his foppish hat in a bow. "I wanted to purchase a ring for my lovely woman"
With a sigh and a smile, the dwarf beckoned them over to a showcase with some of her works. "Pick a style, I'll fit it to er' finger" Iris Soulforger may have been a bit gruff, but she had a big heart. The elven woman picked a rather intricate ring and she wanted a jewel put in. After Iris' forge was heated and the ring was cast and fitted the elves left happily singing a ditty that Iris didn't understand. She simply smiled and set to work on a sword for another customer.

A vampire? So she was a cursed one? His heart sank when she suddenly grabbed his blade and beggied him to plunge into her. Was she that focused on dieing? Pulling it out Mappel stood.
"Very well then, if you wish for death..then I guess I shall give it to you." he said bringing up the sword and preparing to drive it into her heart. Yet before he did Mappel smiled and bopped her in the head with the hilt of the blade gently. "There..now get up and forget about it Ms. Elvara. You being a Vampire doesn't bother me at all." he said sheathing his blade.
Holding his hand out to her the elf just smiled sweetly down at Elvara. "How long have you been a Vampire, Elvara?" he asked gently. Mappel was kind of excited actually, he had never met a Vampire before!

Elvara looked up at him with grateful eyes, she was ready. Someone was finally going to take her life! There was such a sudden rush of happiness and fear. Happy to finally be at peace but also scared, it was known to all that once someone was turned they had no place in the afterlife, they had no souls.
With her eyes firmly shut she waited for the deathblow. "Thank you.." she whispered. It felt like ages, just waiting for it until something bonked her head. He wasn't going to do it was he? With a sigh, she took his hand and picked herself up on the floor. It seems that her transformation also changed her clothing, it was a mass of leather, corset and anything tight to cling to her curves. Why the hell wouldn't he do it? Maybe she had to go looking for another willing person. That wouldn't be hard.
"how long have I been cursed?" it was a strange question to ask, but his eyes were full of curiosity. She had to do some maths in her head, mumbling it out loud. "So I'm five-hundred and seventy-two today.. I turned at twenty-three... I guess that makes iiiiiiiit......" she sorted out the last sums in her head "five-hundred and forty-nine years I've been a vampire" Elvara told him. Thinking about it, that was a lot of years, no wonder she wanted to end her life.

Wow she was old! Older than the Grand Elders of his village! Mappel smiled a bit at that, why was she so upset? "You must be very wise then! Why would you want to end your life that way? You must be wiser than one of my villages Grand Elders!" he grinned happily.
The alluring vampire seemed nice, nothing like the stories he had heard of her race. For a while he shyly blushed and looked away. "Actually, you probably find it odd that I don't know alot. You see, Oak Elves, like myself, aren't allowed to leave the village. I was only able to because I begged my parents. I wanted to see the world, so after a hundred years they finally let me go! I don't know much about the races or the world, but I think you being a Vampire is cool!" he said happily.
"Let's be friends, I don't want to end your life, but I want to get to know you more Elvara! I'm sure you've seen alot during your time! I would love to hear some stories from you sometime as well!" he grinned. Mappel seemed acted like a curious child getting something they loved for the first time.

Wise? Elvara was far from it in her eyes. All she had seen over the years was death, wars against her own kind, she didn't see how any of that made someone wise. It made them a freak of nature to look the day they died for all eternity, or until they were hunted down. There was many stories to tell, nothing heroic or anything, unless he did want to hear about all the murders she had enforced.
"Wise? You must be joking right?" she laughed lightly, true it had been said to her a few times. Mainly young vampires wanting to be taught all the tricks or the trade. She however didn't want to take any students on, as they say 'students will one day over power their master'. Elvara had learned this and did the same to her own teacher. But this man was only curious it seemed, sure he could use it against her one day but she did not care.
He was also questioning herself on wanting her life to end, all she could do was give a fanged smile. "When you have lived a life where the simple things are taken from you. You learn to hate it. Sure your given amazing powers and such, but it's not the same. I miss watching the sun rise, yes I do have my enchanted umbrella but then that isn't sun proof fully. It stings after a while just from the heat of the UV rays." she took a seat on the table top, swinging her leather coated legs back and forth. "I mean, you have a family right? you just told me... as for me, everyone is gone, I have to watch anyone close die.."

Mapple frowned sadly. "Forgive me, I meant no disrepect, nor did I mean to pull any bad memories out of you Elvara." he said with a bow.
That must have been aweful! No wonder her race was known as Cursed Ones. To have everyone you love die on you. The elf was kind of unsure what to do, but instead walked over to the vampire, faced her, then pulled Elvara into a comforting and gentle hug.
"I'm sorry.." he said to her gently.

Why was he so cuddly towards her? Shouldn't he be running off to fetch some pitchforks or something? She guessed he probably was just curious, he did say he didn't know much about her race afterall. But the way he was acting and saying it was cool earlier, she hoped he got the idea, that it wasn't all fun and games.
"Don't be, they all died before I was turned anyway.. which I'm glad. They didn't get to see me as this thing" the hug he gave was kind of nice, he was actually hugging her despite what she truly was. Now that rarely happened. But she wanted to know something. "Why... won't you kill me?... you don't even know me.." she didn't understand it, if someone asked her, she would gladly do it.

Mappel let the woman go. "Well, weather you like it or not, you are who you are Elvara. Maybe it was a curse, maybe it was destiny, yet despite what people think you are still Elvara, inside and out." he replied happily.
"Humans may see you as evil, yet you have been nothing but kind to me. Sure you did scare me a little with your seductive behavior a moment ago, but I don't see a monster here, just someone that needs a friend." The elf blushes with embarassment, "Of course, that is also kind of assuming. I don't want to come off as forcing or manipuliative. I like you honestly, it's not everyday you meet a vampire. Our races live long so you'll see me for a while still. We Elves don't always just kill blindly like the barbaric Humans do sometimes, or so I've been taught. Though I don't see Humans as barbaric or anything either. Their race facinates me, just as much as any other race does."

(lol you changed colours (: )
The blackness of her eyes began to fade away. They were bright red like a typical vampire, but hers were different in a subtle way. A small earthy green ring of her human eye colour around the pupil. "well, not all vampires are like myself. They usually get killed before this age, so they have no remorse for what they have done in the past. If you ever find one younger then me, I can grantee they will rip your throat out without a moments notice. Once you get to this age, that life becomes, empty and you start to snap out of that loop. Well, I did anyway"
He was being so nice, but she was wasting his time really. Mappel said he wanted to travel and explore, but was stuck in her house right now. "wait here a moment" Elvara told him, before hopping off the table and going into the living room she really didn't want him to go into, what was in there? She returned after a few minutes holding two very old looking books, must of been a few centuries old. "I have here, a book about my race and one of other cursed beings.." Elvara explained, holding them out like she was handing them to him to keep. "I've wrote some notes in there and things.. mainly if a passage or fact is wrong and so on.. maybe you'll learn more about us through these.."

(lol derp sorry xD I'll change it back. xP I get confused sometimes on what colors I use lol)
Mappel watched her enter a door. He felt like following but just as he was about to, she returned quickly with some books. Gently taking the books the elf smiled. "Sure, I'll read them. Cover to cover. I promise you." he replied happily. Tucking them away in his bag he stared into her pretty eyes and blushed shyly.
He was stuck in her house for a while. So giving a shrug he pulled one of the books out, sits down at the table, and begins to read. It seemed like she locked him in with her on purpose maybe? Mappel wasn't sure, but he didn't mind. He found her notes to be facinating and was soon getting lost with interest, in the book. She would be able to tell with the twinkle of facination in his eyes.
