As a lover of poetry, and even though his verse wasn't a haiku of any sort, his poetic muses were starting to irk her a little. Not really enough to make her mad or anything, but enough to warrant a little eye twitch of irritance. Rolling to the side to avoid being completely sandwiched by his blade, the wind was knocked out of her by the respective shockwave that came with the attack, probably crushing a rib or two on her way to the ground. She didn't utter a sound in compliance with the pain it supposedly should have brought. Oh, she felt it alright, but she had fared far worse before. Lying motionless on the ground, dead perhaps, no one saw her mouth the words to a Shikai ability that activated without a trace of detection. In the meantime, she didn't move, supposedly knocked unconscious as one might assume. If Shoe was smart, he'd take the opportunity to end her now. And if he was going to be a blundering idiot and be deceived, then kudos to Noci.

"Hōigaku..." she whispered, white lines beginning to snake out from her body as they traced the ground in a crack-line pattern. The area once again began to get uncomfortably hot, as well as distorting the gaze of anyone looking inside the area of the attack. The heat distortion was a perfect setup for Noce to Shunpo forward with a cross slash of both blades, before shifting them into a reverse grip and following up with a lunging thrust. If he used his eyes, the images of the attack would be slightly blurry, as well as throw off his depth perception a bit, along with the pinpointed disclosure of her location. At the same time she thrusted the pommel of her blades forward, he would be in for a wicked surprise. Clicking the triggers on the blades, the pommel would spring out two small hidden blades, each tipped with a paralysis poison that would be completely ineffective on Shoe. With a man as large as he was, the poison would simply dissipate into his bloodstream before the effect of the paralysis could even take place. But poison or not, blades were still blades.

Flat out ignoring the hand, she let him go for her throat as she simultaneously flicked the tip of her blade to go right through his throat. "Kōkyū!" she hissed out, both of her blades glowing a stunning neon white as she superheated both blades. Her free blade went for Shoe's own blade, furiously spitting out a raging shower of sparks as steel grated against steel. Now, the only question that remained was if he was stronger, she was faster, or was he smart enough to just retreat entirely? He could either squeeze the life out of her, faster than she could move her blade, or risk getting a white hot blade melted through his skull. Or he could just do the obvious and drop all holds, which would probably leave him open for another attack. Unless he had some ungodly trick up his sleeve, Noci was prepared for the outcome of death. Whether it was his or her's, was going to be left up to fate.

As the events unfolded rather slowly before him he could barely contain his excitement. He was trembling, his hand was shaking so badly he dug his nails into the flat of his sword hilt, gripping against his zanpakuto's own unrest for battle. He was slowly parting his legs into a stone wall stance, his hand became knuckle white as his body tensed. His teeth were grinding together, his senses were growing, this wasn't him trying to pick a fight, it was his bodies innate need for fighting. He helped it when he could but watching her barely put up a fight triggered something within him, but he held it back and lowered his sword hilt. A faint aura grew around him, as light as the wind but as destructive as a hurricane. His spirit energy went break neck from zero to five percent and it startled the sakura trees around him, shaking the petals to fall like feathers but the moment they touched his spirit energy the petals were ripped up and thrown like confetti in the wind. He could tell by her breathing she wasn't out, it would have been much softer but the whisper gave it away."Hey get up! If thats all you got im ******** disappointed in you! Your not in the Royal Guard for nothing are ya!" He taunted trying to edge her on. Surpressing his trembling body, he closed his stance a bit more. Hoping she would get up, he scoffed a bit." I felt your spirit energy its way stronger than this!" Just as he finished he watched the sleeping cobra strike the unwary bear hoping it would prove worthy of her skill. His smile went from grinding moulders to a wicked smile stretched ear to ear."Thats it, go woman!"

Back at Kenshin's ring in the Soul King Palace, he wondered where Noci was after he called in a meeting for all members but noticed she was gone. Looking around, he walked over to his office, where he sat down in front of his computer and began to search for Noci's location by checking in the logs on the last usage of the Tenchūren was last used. "17th Rukongai District? What the hell are you doing there Noci?" Sighing, he headed back over to the meeting hall where the others were waiting for him. "Change of plans guys. Let's reschedule the meeting to tomorrow. I might have to do a little rescuing right now. Stay put here in the palace and don't let anyone enter or leave the realm, alright?" Once finished giving his orders, he then walked out of the meeting room and walked over to the outside area where a massive, ivory Tenchūren stood. Walking over and placing his left hand over the door, it opened up and he stepped in.
The door closed, as Kenshin then proceeded to plot his destination. Once complete, he then proceeded to take a seat and buckled up for the bumpy ride down. With that, the floor then opened up as the massive pillar soon entered a freefall, as it headed on over to the seventh Rukongai district. Upon landing, a loud crashing sounds could be heard for miles, as Kenshin soon arrived at the Rukongai. Stepping out of his Tenchūren, he looked around and tried to detect Noci's spiritual pressure. After spending a few seconds, he located her and vanished with the use of shunpu and appeared on top of the cliff where she was laying tired. Sighing, he then noticed a man, who seemed a bit arrogant in his posture, as he was trying to challenge a tired out Noci.
"Is this guy ******** serious? He's seriously going to try to take on an exhausted opponent?" Sighing, he looked at the man and summoned his zanpakuto. Unsheathing it, he then raised it at this man and appeared in front of him, with his zanpakuto flying straight towards his neck. "Don't you have a single shred of honor you punk?" With a scolding attitude, Kenshin was irritated by this man's behavior. He needed discipline and one hell of a a** whooping. Kenshin was just about to do just that without breaking a damn sweat. ...it's the end result that counts ~ ⇦ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓

He was watching the fight and noting every sound, vibration and word pass but soon he felt the arrival of a new shinigami, this one didn't seem like an ordinary officer or captain but he watched the man pull a sword, drawing a blade would always lead to trouble and had recalled an earlier request; No one can interfere. When blind he saw the world through sounds, even small vibrations so picking up on this mans speed was no hard feat. The world was black, outlined in white and this man was a large object to his visual. The new shinigami was fast, but the wanderer was just a bit faster. He dashed forward spinning on his heel while the man was mid-movement he slung out his katana, that trembling blade was swaying fiercy as the two swords connected. Marrock held his blade back the flat against his shoulder blade while the other side clashed to his edge. He was standing with his back to the new arrival looking over his shoulder with a blank, but slightly shaky expression: like a wild animal caged away just ready to be unleashed. He held it back." Have faith in this woman she will not lose. Tired does not mean dead. This way please." He flung his sword down if still held against the others blade they would slide and come part if everything flowed. He turned towards him sheathing his zanpakuto, much to his weapons dismay, then motioned with a nod to the side lines."No interrupting, she wouldn't want that."

Jun Soo thought to himself, moments before jumping back and letting her go as her weapon dug into his shoulder, frying it from the inside, cauterizing him as it left his flesh a sickly, burnt black. His left arm would be basically useless from here on out. He could feel it through the adrenaline. It would take some extremely good outside medical care to repair the external damage, let alone the internal distress his body just went through in a few long seconds. As he landed, Jun Soo found himself off balance, enough so the make him start to fall backwards, his vision a bit blurry and his body feeling hot and dizzy. Making the best of it, he jumped up, spinning and cleaving into the ground as he threw his zanpakuto at Noci. "Saku Hana!" As the blade left Jun Soo's hand, he hit the ground rolling, getting back up on his feet, clenching his shoulder before letting go due to the still immense heat in the immediate area. If he had hesitated even a bit, he'd probably be dead right now. As it stood, his heavy broadsword was rocketing towards Noci, but if she thought that disarmed him, she was sorely mistaken. He still had his scabbard, and Saku Hana's ace in the hole. Upon hitting its target, being recalled, or where the target was standing, it would emit a forceful burst and come back home. This allowed Jun Soo to deal with enemies coming from the front in two different ways, an additional way in dealing with them if they came from behind, and left his arms and legs to do the side. With proper handling even, he could catch the zanpakuto in its sheath, but for now he was just hoping to make her drop a weapon."... because Love is a sweet fruit indeed."xxx

He may be out of range of her Hōigaku, but her Kōkyū was still in maximum effect. Superheated to cut through concrete like butter, one shot to a vital organ wasn't going to be funny. If Noci got a shot at a vital point, Shoe's insides would be fried, and even possibly incinerate a nearby organ. Not that a stab to the lung wouldn't hurt, but incinerating a person's airways was a hell of a painful way to die. Twirling her swords like nunchucks, she sent a few twirling slashes flying his way in a show of extreme skill and blade movements; all in a blinding flash of speed.

A weapon that got really, hot, noticeably distorted vision, and could cauterize on contact? Yeah, he wasn't going to let himself get hit by that. Holding his arm, he moved out of the way of one, feeling another burn across his elbow, burning it into a limp state. However, Jun Soo's ace just kicked in as his zanpakuto blasted off air, doing a 180 as it began coming back at him and at her from behind.. Turning, basically one armed, he bolted at Noci head long. "Asagao!" Rushing forth, he threw a right hook for Noci's midriff, looking to catch her not off guard, but leave her with only one place to go; towards his severely injured left arm. If he caught his weapon, he could use the momentum to swing at her again."... because Love is a sweet fruit indeed."xxx

Nevertheless, the blow got to her, and she gave a small grunt as she slid back with a good bruise on the left side of her rib cage. With precise timing, Noci ducked just as the sheath came flying back of its own accord, simultaneously swinging her blades back at the hip and lunging forward with a double cross slash. By now, the neon glow was beginning to fade, signalling the end of the technique. Regardless, the cutting force was still as sharp as ever, extending the reach of the blades by two feet of pure slicing air. Naturally, invisible to the eye, but just as effective as any blade cut could make.
