Joshua looked at the boy before him. At least he will listen top me. he thought before looking at the boy, listening to his question. He thought for a moment, wondering how best to tell. "Because, I care too much. I wanted to keep you safe, the easiest way to do so, is to endanger myself." he said quietly. He could here the sound of footsteps approaching from the floors above. "You have awoken feelings I have not felt before." he said, nervously. Just then the sound of a fist pounded against the door. "I will be back shortly." he said after guiding Kayden to the bed. He left the room. As soon as the door closed, a loud thud filled the air.
What seemed like forever passed, when in actuality it was barely an hour. The door opened again, and Joshua reappeared. He sighed. "Well, you can stay..." he said as he winced a bit as he moved towards the bed. "But they want proof." he said softly.

He listened, only to smile softly at the response. It was something he was not use-to, it felt strange. He sat down on the bed and waited for the vampyre to return, eyes adverting to the sound of the door opening.
"Proof.. of what?"

Joshua looked at Kayden, he was nervous. His gaze swapped to the door, where a male with dark hair stood, watching. "Proof, of how I feel for you." he said softly. "It means you have two choices." he continued softly. "Either, I make you my lover, and publicize it. Or..." he took a deep breath. "I turn you, which I really don't want to unless you do." he continued softly. he turned his gaze to the blind human.

As the two choices were presented to him, Kayden wasn't sure how to respond. Why was he nervous all a sudden?
"I.. umm.. well"
He sighed, kinda flustered that he was tripping over a few words. Slightly embarrassed, he decided to try again.
"I guess.. the first choice"

Joshua nodded and leaned in, placeing his lips on the humans forehead once again. "Good, I didn;t want to have to change you." he said as he took the humans hand. "I really do care for you Kayden. To much." he said smiling, his free hand reaching up to caress the other boys face. A cough come from the doorway. And Joshua sighed, looking at the man standing there. "Ezekiel we will when we are ready. The Coven master said we have two weeks to decide." he said, annoyed. "The Human has already decided." he countered. "Then we have two weeks before we must prove it!" he countered, He shot a look at the man before he left. He sighed again. "Two weeks, to prove how we feel." he said softly.

The human smiled at the vampyre's words, they meant a lot to him, perhaps a little too much. He remained quiet as he listened to the words being exchanged between the two vampyres, only for the sound of the door shutting following suit as the other male left. He assumed, it was just him and Joshua alone in the room again.
"I'm glad I met you" he spoke just as softly

Joshua smiled and moved closer, placing his lips against the other male's. "I really do care for you, a lot." he said softly. He squeezed the other boy's hand and smiled. "I just realized, if you can only leave with me, then we can only leave at night." he said, feeling a bit stupid. "I am sorry about that." he said with a nervous tone.

Kayden was a bit surprised when their lips met, but found himself returning the kiss.. it was sweet. Taking note of Joshua's nervous tone, he responded.
"It's fine.. daytime is over-rated anyhow" he said softly, smiling.

Joshua smiled and kissed Kayden again. "Plus this means you wont be seeing those jerks anymore." he said with a smile. "You still smell like milk slightly. You should shower." he said as he stood, taking the boys hand. "I'll show you to the bathroom." he said with a smile.

The human returned the kiss, only to stand when Joshua took hold of his hand. He smiled as he was lead to the bathroom.
"Okay"
Than the realization hit him and he glanced in the direction where Joshua was, speaking again, a bit embarrassed.
"Umm.. no clothes"

Joshua blinked. He hadn't thought of that. "WHile you wash I will find some clothes for you, just drop what your wearing outside the bathroom door so I can check the sizes. There is probably someone here with the same size." he said. He opened the bathroom door and smiled at the human. "I'll be outside." he said as he let go of Kayden's hand. "Don't worry, you'll be perfectly safe." he said before placing a kiss on the human's forehead again.

He went inside, raising a hand and pressing it against the cool wood and with a push, the door closed. He kicked off his shoes and stripped down, turning around slightly, enough for his hand to feel the cool wood again. He brought his hand up till he felt the handle, gripping it softly, the handle turned and the door opened slightly, enough to drop his clothes outside of the bathroom. The door closed again and he made his way towards the other side of the bathroom, his fingertips brushing against the furniture in a unfamiliar room. He pulled back the curtain, turning on the water and getting in once it was the right temperature. The milk washed down the drain, along with dirt and anything else his body was covered in. Once his hair was washed and conditioned, he turned off the water.. pulling back the curtain and grabbing the towel off the towel rack, drying himself off before wrapping it around the lower half of his body. He got out and walked to the counter, letting his fingers find a hairbrush for him.

Joshua waited for the clothes to be set outside. He picked them up and took them to the laundry room, washing them as he searched for clean clothes of the same sizes. Finally he found a t-shirt and skinny jeans. He went and threw Kayden's now washed clothes into the dryer and went back to the room. He knocked on the bathroom door. "I found you some clothes. I'll set them o the floor." he said as he looked at the door. He turned and went towards the bed, sitting down and relaxing.

The door would shut gently and he would get dressed; pulling the jeans over his nice legs and than pulling the shirt over his damp hair. He picked up the towel from the floor and dropped it in the hamper, the hamper he had almost fell over when he went into the bathroom earlier. The door opened again and he exited the bathroom. I'd rather walk alone ♥ Fall a thousand times over ♥ Was an in-between to escape this scene

Joshua smiled as Kayden came out of the bathroom. "Do the clothes fit okay?" He asked as he took the blind boy's hand. He led him to the bed and released a yawn.
