Re'nah dodged a few more of the human's attacks, one of them landing and slicing her across the arm. she winced in pain but the way she reacted suggested she had wanted herself to be injured. "Anubis, i offer you my blood and ask for your blessing." she whispered and kicked the human away from herself slamming him agaist the arena wall.
As he struggled to get to him feet, Re'nah let the blood run from her soulder and fall onto the ground below where it seeped in as if being pulled down and the wound healed leavign a scar she then dropped her staff and raced towards the human grabbing him by the neck and lifting him up digging her claws into his neck to hold him while her right hand extented to his chest and dug her hand in, the Human let out a horrible scream as her hand slowly slid in untill it was buried wrist deep. she seemed to grip somthing as she pulled her hand back out and ripped out what seemed to be a whispy glowing white orb that suddenly turned black and slipped though her hands and shattered on the ground. The human was sobbing by now as if in extream pain, but strangly there was no hole in his chest and when the orb shattered her went quiet and limp though his eyes were open and her was still breathing. "You have been judged and found unworthy of my master's mercy." she whispered to him and dropped him to the ground reaching her hand outward and summoning her staff towards herself which she raised and slammed it into his chest where he hand had once been, finally killing him.
she stepped away from the body and knelt down and lowered her head to the ground as shadows surrounded the body and black chains wrapped around it dragging the corpse into the earth as if it never exsisted. once done she stood and wiped the blood from her staff on the ground and turned back to Kisuke. in the back of her mind she worried what he must think of her now, but she didn't say anything, her gold eyes just stayed locked with his as a silent apology.

Kisuke Kisuke stared back at her with his emerald eyes. She showed no mercy to her opponent, which Kisuke did since the demon is still alive and was taken away to the dungeon. It seemed like as if she was apologizing to him and he simply nodded. She was a cold fighter and hoped that he would never have to go up against her. But deep down, he didn't want to go up against her because he didn't even want to hurt her, even if he was stronger then her or not. He felt attracted to her. Kisuke realized that he was staring into her eyes for a while and Kisuke looked away. After the battle the two guards came and grabbed his arm and Re'nahs. Then the guards walked up side by side and walked down the small dimmed hallway as the crowd's cheers were left behind. Kisuke looked up at Re'nah and smiled.

This time Re'nah didn't struggle as she was taken back dawn the hallway with Kisuke. she was somewhat glad he had understood what she had done, in battle she couldn't afford to feel anything for her opponent. she dreaded the day when both of them were taken back up there, only to fight each other. She smiled back at him her tail raising just a little and the tip of it wagged back and forth, after all she was still part of the canine family meaning she could switch from happy to merciless at a moments notice.

Hunter noticed her confused and began to explain"Basically, I've had people underestimate me in combat because I look younger than I really am, which is a mistake on their part...I figure these scars are going to be shown somehow so my fights may a little more of a challenge then they have b-" Smelling blood and hearing sound of metal being scraped along the building, he realizes that another match must have came and went and..from the sound of things must have brutal.
"i think you may have your work cut out for you in a bit Nae, so I won't keep you anymore with boring stories" After wrapping his arms in a couple of nearby cloth bandages, Hunter walked to the door of the recovery room, thankful that the waiting room was right next door, before stopping at the door, turning around and adding with one of his rare smiles, "Nice to meetcha kid, be careful out there, and...thanks"
With that he went to the waiting room, sat down at one of the couches that where somehow crammed in this small space, unsheathed his sword and began wiping off the semi-dried blood from its midnight-black blade while quietly surveying those around him.

Kisuke Kisuke noticed the tip of her tip was wagging slightly and Kisuke couldnt help but to feel nervous. He didn't know why exactly. When the guards reached the middle room once more they dropped them off and left. It was getting slightly dark outside so the room was even more dimmed. The guards went back and reported to the king who ran the gladiator matches. When they reported what have happened the king smirked. He marked that Re'nah and Kisuke and a few others will fight in a 4man free for all, and only 2 would not only be sent to the dungeon, but executed. He also marked that if there was any alliance going on in a fight, one of them would be picked random and executed, everyone would have to fight each other until 2 were unable to fight.

Re'nah sat back down in her usual corner and once again propped her staff to lean agaist her shoulder she could tell night was falling as it became darker in the room causeing her night vision to slowly adjust to her surroundings. she closed her eyes and leaned her head agaist the wall, usually night was ther time when she would change places with the day guard back home and prowl the streets looking for threats to her city, but she wasn't there anymore and even after such a short time she missed it dearly.
She thought of her Mother's worried face as she waited for her daughter to return home, probably thinking she had gone to the temple for the day, she did that sometimes. she would never find out the Re'nah would not be returning home any time soon. Re'nah recalled before she had left for her shift, her Mother had been cooking a leg of lamb on the fire, covered in her special herbs, she could still recall the smell but it was fading. She wondered how long it would take before all of her memories faded, for she knew she would not be returning home, alive at least. her eyes opened and a tear slid down her left cheek that had been held back by her eyelid. "i'm sorry mama..." she whispered quietly.

Kisuke Kisuke glanced at Re'nah and his ear twitched when he heard her mumble something and a tear fell down her left cheek. He wanted to hold her or wipe the tear off or anything but he knew that she probably wouldn't like that. His eyes adjusted to the lighting and his eyes began to glow in the dim like slightly. All he did was move closer to Re'nah. "Are you okay Re'nah?" He said with a slight worried face. He remember the day when the guards came for Kisuke. He was young and he cried everyday to be freed and to see his mother again, but it has been years, and he is still here..

Re'nah's eyes flicked to Kisuke and she gave him a sad smile. "I was thinking of my mother, how worried she must be, even when i staied at the temple she worried. the lamb she was cooking is possibly cold by now." she replied and sighed. "She will be heart broken, she had just recovered from my father's death. But now i fear with my dissaperence she will fall ill again." she lifted her hand to her face and wiped away the stray tear. "she was the only family i had left, and i was hers."

Kisuke Kisuke listened to her and couldnt help to feel sorry for the girl. He saw her wipe the tear away and Kisuke put his arms around her and gave her a hug. After he let go he spoke again, "I am sorry, I feel your pain, I was taken away from my parents at a young age and I was devastated. I didn't think I would ever get over it, I still feel sad today." He said placing a hand on her leg.

Re'nah locked her eyes with Kisuke's after he hugged her, she was amazed that someone who had to fight so long still had a kind heart. Even if he was a Cat it was still nice to have someone to talk to, even a warrior needed company and her kind were usually found in groups being related to pack animals. "I think if your mother could see you today i think she would be proud of you, you suffered so much here and still keep a kind heart."

Kisuke Kisuke smiled toward Re'nah, "Thank you, I been here for a while and fought many opponents, but I never killed anyone, unless if I had beat them to near death I must kill then since they would only suffer more in the dungeon." He said, his eyes were still locked with Re'nah's. He scooted closer to Re'nah to the point where they had hardly any space apart. "I am glad that I have meant you." He said.

"And i, you. Even if it is a grim and strange blessing, if we die in this place i hope that our souls will meet again in the afterlife. though we just met, it is good to have a friend in this dark place." She said her tail wagging softly. she had tried to avoid people here because she knew in the end she would have to fight them, but her instincts as a canine had gotten the better of her, she needed to have someone with her or else she might go insane with lonliness. Even Anubis himself had his pack of warriors always with him.

Kisuke Kisuke took a hand off her leg and smiled. " I don't think that is twisted at all, I think that seems like a great fate." He kind of chuckled. " I just noticed, the odds of a canine like yourself being friends with a feline like myself." He said as he stopped chuckling. It seemed like the dim lighting was fading into darkness, and a few people started heading into their rooms to sleep or to do whatever. Kisuke remained with Re'nah and see what she wanted to do, Kisuke's room was locked so he didn't have to worry about anyone going in there. His room was rather large since of all the wins and how long he was there.

Re'nah couldn't help but grin. "Even if my people are wary of you felines, becomeing frineds with one isn't as rare as it might seem, just not spoken of much." she said and followed his gaze as everyone left for their rooms. her ears drooped a little and she shifted a little, if she went to her room she would be alone again, even on her patrols there was always another warrior in her sight and she had always shared a room with her mother. her grip tightened on her staff as if it would offer her some comfort and she couldn't ask Kisuke to stay it would seem silly that a warrior like her, somone who just killed a man hated solitude even in her sleep.

Kisuke Kisuke smiled, " Oh I see." he said rubbing his arms. Kisuke then looked back to Re'nah, he knew that since it was her first day, her room may seem a little unwelcome. Kisuke thought for a moment and looked back at her. "Well if your alright with it, you can come stay with me if you like." He said and blushed a little. He hoped that Re'nah wouldnt take Kisuke as a creep or anything.
