She loosened her hold... a bit too much and ended up sliping, floating away on the tides.

He spun in the water, seeing her going. He was tempted, so tempted for the moment to just let her go. But.. she was injured. He sighed and aced after her.

He pulled up short in the water and watched her. Did that mean she was fine? Did she not need him. He felt relieved and watched in hopes of some clue as to weather or not that was the case.

Her tentacles started waving as she tried to swim back to him... only to be pushed back by the currant.

She continued to struggle until she could wrap herself tightly around his foreleg.

He looked down at her then sighed. He supposed he was stuck with her. Well, if she wanted to go elsewhere, he was sure she would let him know... So he headed towards an underwater heat vent he knew. Very comfortable. He could use the heat and current to relax muscles that had been tight for the last... oh... how long had he known her?

She squeaked and tightened her hold when she realized where he was going, and pointed one tentacle in another direction.

She heaved a sigh and relaxed now that she was safely attached to him and he was going in the direction she wanted.
