MidBossVyers Rumia_Noskire Arch-Angel Stocking I'd say any areas near pandaemonium and myouren temple. Just because one is basically surrounded by space and darkness, the other one is basically fresh off the emerging areas. id like to live in pandaemonium too. And just have the magic forest as a vacation house...btw ya do know that pandaemonium is the capital of hell right? Makai, the demonic realm, is a different place than Hell, the underworld or Jigoku, not to be confused with Meikai, the Land of the Dead or directly translated as Gloomy World. In all 3 cases, though, while it is often appropriate to say so, I prefer not to use the word "Netherworld" because that literally means "another world", which is as descriptive as the word "nonfiction", which only says what something is not, not what it is. even so the world of touhou is different than traditional stories so makai here might really be based off the 17th century poem paradise lost and shinki might be zun's version of lucifer from said poem. I've read a part of it and it seems easier to read than dantes inferno.

What I'm trying to say is that when bad people die, they do NOT go to Shinki's realm (unless they made a pact with her beforehand, but that's completely different). Shinki's realm is more like the realms of Oblivion in Elder Scrolls (again bad people do NOT go there after they die unless of course they worshiped that particular deity in life).
