ive used a god card in a duel wiht my friend who had one also the duel ended in a draw

I duel with the God Cards all the time in a dueling club where no one gives a crap about the rules... I'm pretty much the most feared duelist in the group...I also have Uria Lord of Searing Flames... he's like Slifer's brother or something... let me tell u though when you put all the God cards in a deck together it's like their sacred powers awaken each card because I always get the cards i need when I need them!

oh and if you want to awaken your cards souls as well just pm me I'll tell you how...I'll also help with deck construction (I'm actually kinda good at it)

none of the gods have effects
the only non-useless card is obilisc who has 4k atk and def

You've kinda missed the whole thing, didn't ya? We've mentioned before in this topic what their abilities are. I've got my information on their abilities from Beckette magazines.

The Sacred Beasts are easy enough to get out in the right situations....my friend built a deck he called "Die-Uria" (say it fast and you'll get the joke) and it ran 3 Nightmare Wheels, Spellbinding Circles, and other stall Traps, and usually got a second turn Uria.

(Thinks for a minute) Oh, I get it now. I see the joke.

for those who are talking about the gods being special summoned they only last the one turn they are on the field due to special summoning. and it turns out that ra has a few more effects than we all know already

I have a list of all his abilities, but I can't find the darn book. I have Beckettes issue of the god cards that I basically took from my bestfriend (he later said that I could keep it).

yeah he pulled out obelisk on his 2nd turn
but we both agreed that he would not have
any other effect or be immune to magic/trap
result arrow he attacked
i mirror forced then summoned and destroyed him
conclusion arrow he got his a** handed to him
and i got a rare card

I thought the god cards were banned from use in a duel because they were to good of cards thats what i read on a yugioh site a really long time ago like when they first came out in english version.

This is what I've read, "Slifer, The Sky Dragon" and "The Winged Dragon of Ra" are banned from duels due to they have no exact attack points on them. "Obelisk the Tormentor" is allowed in duels because he has attack points, but he is not allowed in tournaments, only personal duels.
