Later that day Aubrey was finished wish work. She packed up her stuff and left. She decided to go to a cafe she went to every so often. Sh e thought about Zak wondering if he was the one she had loved two years ago.

Zak by then, was also at the Cafe. He was getting something for dinner to go, since he didn't feel like cooking... He sat at a table though as the food cooked, and he waited for it.

Aubrey walked in and sat down at her normal table. She didn't notice that he was at the table right behind her. She opened her menu and ordered what she wanted before she pulled her phone out and looked at it again.

He didn't notice her till he closed his phone... He was about to say something, before he decided not to scare her... Instead, he pulled out a pen from his pocket and very horribly wrote, 'What was the friend's name?' on a napkin before tossing it to her table and ducking under his...

She looked at the napkin and read it. She looked around for him before she wrote down.."Zak" She looked around again still not finding. She got up and went into the girls restroom knowing he would pick up the napkin from her table.

When Zak saw she got up, he waited till she left before he climbed out from under, reached to it, and wrote down, 'That's my name....' before folding it up and going back under. From the ladies room, he could easily be seen looking like a little kid, hiding under the table.

Aubrey was watching him the whole time. She couldn't help but chuckle. She looked at herself in the mirror. She sighed and went back to the table and read the napkin. She put it down and looked at the table trying to process this.

As she was reading the napkin, an older waitress walked over with his food, and grabbed him by the ear, pulling him out. It was the one who didn't like him, and his mom's cousin... But, he saw her facial expression and asked, "Are you sure it's Zak?"

Aubrey looked at him. Tears had formed in her eyes. She nodded and quickly wiped her eyes and sniffed.

Zak saw the tears forming, and lifted her chin... He looked into her eyes, and asked, "W-Was he shot...? In the shoulder, close to the heart?"

That triggered it all... Zak remembered her now, and just pulled her into a hug like he used to do...

Aubrey hugged him as she broke down crying into his shoulder. "Zak...your...your alive!" she cried. She couldn't believe it. She thought it was a dream for a second but no this was real. He was here...with her.

Zak looked down to her, and kissed her hair. "I have been, but you know how much of a control freak my mom is? Well, she wouldn't let anyone see me, and I hit my head and couldn't remember you, or anyone really..."

Aubrey hugged him tighter. The only thing she was thinking about was that he was alive. She was so happy that they had found each other.
