Nonsense! There will eternally be more to conquer. For there are numerous moons, bugs, dogs and satelittes to impose my divine will upon. And should that game grow stale, re-conquest has long filled idle hours for cesaers and warlords. In fact? Conquest is a game with infinite replayability, as the human spirit, dull and tedious that it is, ever lingers and hope springs or at least vaults impressively before an equally stupendous face plant, eternal. So, thus, forthwith, conquest may be repeated upon the same foe numerous times with each iteration being only mildly less pleasurable than the last. In accordance with the well known economic principles of Diminishing Returns. smile

Duce? That whole vice-conqueror thing? This is not looking good on your resume, bro. Really. It is, as a rule, much easier to, you know, stab somebody in the back if you don't warn them first. smile

Hey I never said it would be me doing the stabbing. I'm just letting you know so then your less loyal followers try it you will be ready ninja .
Because I would never dream of overthrowing you and taking over the pre-conquered world.

*laughs* That comes next. It is a slow corruption. Like most of the darker sins, it seems merely an innocent love of words at first, and then a scholarly desire to learn, sadly, finally, though you find yourself relishing the dripping of Antediluvian idioms from your lips. smile

*beams* It takes years of practice to achieve greatness, don't let anybody tell you that you can take a pill or a 30-day treatment. Only by hard work, dedication, thorough commitment, eating all your vegetables, going to bed on time, listening to your mother and study can you approach true mastery (of the darkside). smile

"Dripping of antediluvian idioms from your lips." Another interesting turn of phrase ... strictly speaking, since there was no language during the antediluvian era, there could be no idiom dating from that period. At any rate, this little gem reminds me of someone with a drooling problem.

People with drooling problems are weird. Especially if the drool is coming from their nose. And the person is only 3 or 4 years old. Yuck.
