My financial aid was easy--just filling out the FAFSA and the school did the rest.

I expect it should be that simple, but teh pain is figuring out how in the hell to do that. I can't figure it out online, and the Financial Aid Office is closed cause that entire building is going through renovations! xp

Ok, then follow the directions on the edit. You CAN submit the application online, (top link in the middle section, it's green!) you just need your school code so they know where to send the $$.

finally found it, and almost freaked out, but all's good. when we got to the part about folks taxes we got all the way through it and hit a snag with the identification confirmation part, because it has to be EXACT. xp so, mom ended up trying to estimate it, and wound up needing to save and exit to do it later, when she can look at her tax files and stuff.

heh, don't worry. xd tiredness is only JUST starting to get a hold of me, and I've still got 2 hours to go before I have to catch a bus! 3 and half to go till class starts, and 6 and half till Senate starts. I don't get to go home until I've been up for another near-20 hours again! xd
