spud-of-magic Americans We. It's a crazy arrangement with, like,Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever and stuff like that. The euphonium part was horribly difficult.(It was the same as flutes and clarinets which was odd.) We played that for contest this year, as well as Procession of the Nobles, another difficult piece for euphonium players. For some odd reason our BDs like to torture our euphonium players.

Yeah, and most of our brass players are graduating, so it will be even worse next year.

macbrat2701 the Coast Guard song is hard, at least for woodwinds, its all chromatic runs and trills and trembles, etc. for brass its alright, but I like the way it sounds. In the Spring time is hard as well, it is 12 min. long and we are playing it for Judications. Don't ever play that song, unless you want to play forever(that is what makes it hard) omg i did that this year, but for me the hardest song i ever played was tenor madness for jazz

i've really only played one song that i hated and i wanted to burn it (which i came really close to doin) was at our christmas concert and its called Russian Chrsitmas Music and i hated it. it was really difficult for the flutes...like really fast sixteenth-triplet notes....ahh evilness.....and we also had to play Flying Eagle March that was hard to (not chrsitmas tho...) and so was Cajun Folk Songs (but that one wasn't that bad) apparntly we were playing way above the level we were supposed to be in, so its okay. ninja

Procession is nice. Probably the hardest thing I've played so far because I never got to taste wind symphony last year. They played stuff that sounded challenging, like Carnival Overture. (I really like the way that song sounds.) But I guess for me, it would be Procession of the Nobles. I loved the part I had for that song (Euphonium). Too bad I didn't get to play more stuff like that last year... But looking forward. to wind symphony next year.

-[[Take a little bit of time everyday to reflect on bits and pieces of life. Relax and view life to its max.]]-
The hardest song, I have now decided on. Liturgical Dances. Intense, fast, and full of changing meters. Level 6! Played it as a freshman. xD

Catch me if you can
It was hard for me since I have been only playing baritone for seven months. Too many flippin' triplets.

Band of Gold. It's fast, syncopated, it cut time, and has a random high G. I attempted to play it it 7th grade. I failed, but the rest of the band did too.

Let's see...
How the West Was Won sucked. It had a ton on sixteenth/32th not runs in it, and then some weird a** trills. C-C#, what??? It was supposed to sound like native americans...
Gathering of the Ranks at Hebron was also pretty difficult. Mostly because it was fast, and changed time every few bars in the beginning. I mean, out of nowhere comes this 3/8. Then back to normal 3/4s and 4/4s and such. It was weird.
