Stormflight watched her new apprentice walk toward the apprentice den. Oh, that's nice. She thought to herself. Going to get aquainted with her fellow apprentices.
Stormflight looked around. Not as many cats crowded Jaypaw's body. She looked around, searching for Pebblestar. She had went out to go hunting. She sighed and padded to Redtail. "It's time," She meowed to her old apprentice's older sister. She watched sadly as tears began to stream down the tortoiseshell's face.
Stormflight padded onto the ledge of Pebblestar's den and addressed the clan.
"It is time to say farewell to Jaypaw!" She meowed solemly. "She was a great and noble apprentice. She will always be watching us with all of our other fallen ancestors. I will always be proud of her." She continued. "Now, I would like the apprentices to go with Redtail to bury Jaypaw," She ordered. She padded to the apprentice one last time and licked the cat's ear.
Redtail nodded and began to assemble the apprentices near the body.
Stormflight padded to Littletail and Patchfur. "I would like you two to get one more warrior to go hunting with you two," She ordered. "I'm going to bring an apprentice with me to do the dawn patrol tomorrow,"

Daypaw emerged from the den in order to bid her last farewell to Jaypaw, and she sat, staring around the camp, looking for nothing in particular.

Darkpaw watched Pebblestar leave to go hunting. He decided to go after her, to...practice his stalking and hunting skills. Slowly, he padded after Pebblestar, his footsteps quiet.

Pebblestar sat down near Dew Rocks waiting for Darkpaw to catch up. She looked back, noticing that the apprentice was good at staying hidden and she called out, "If you wanted to practice stalking, you could have just asked."

Lunapaw looked around the camp clearing feeling very confused and a little frightened. What was happening? Everything was changing so quickly and now Jawpaw was dead.
Lunapaw had not been an apprentice long and so hadn't really known Jawpaw but she was family. Lunapaw heard Stormflight call for all the apprentices to help Redtail bury Jaypaw and so she walked across the clearing to where Jaypaws body was and where Redtail was waiting.
She looked down at the broken body of the apprentice and touched her head to Jaypaws *May you hunt well with Starclan* she prayed and then stood back to let the last of the cats say god bye. She stood back a few paces and sat down waiting for her next order.

Redtail tilted her head and looked at Lunapaw, who had just showed up. "Ready to help me?" She asked, referring to burying Jaypaw's body.

Heronkit was sitting outside watching all the goings-on in camp. She was starving, but at the same time, lost her appetite from the sudden shock of Jaypaw's death. She really didn't know Jaypaw, but she knew if everyone else was mourning, she should, too. "I'm not even sure what exactly happened," she whispered to herself.

Spiritwind sat at the edge of camp, solemn for once. She couldn't find anything positive about the current situation. Looking up to the sky, she attempted to push down the sadness. She hadn't known Jaypaw that well, so this shouldn't be affecting her the way it was. She looked around the camp for a moment, letting her gaze finally rest on Jaypaw's body. She couldn't take it anymore. There was too much negative energy in camp. She darted out of camp, looking for a quiet place to mourn. Anguish gripped at her as her paws pounded the ground.

Lunapaw looked up when Redtail asked her if she was ready. She didnt really know how to answer that and so she just walked slowly dragging her paws until she was stood next to her. How could she be ready to bury such a young cat who had been loved by many of the clan. It wasn't right but she knew it had to be done. She gave a small nod and waited to see how Redtail wanted to move Jaypaw. It seemed horrible that they would have to drag the young cat from the clearing but how else could it be done.

Darkpaw held back a sharp retort. He shrugged the cat equivalent of a shrugg. "Sorry. I didn't know if you'd let me." He mewed coldly. "How can we go hunting or what?"

"Your patience astounds me every day," Pebblestar meowed cheerily. "Come on, we'll go and hunt some magpies. StarClan knows how annoying those birds are. Might as well n** them in the bud before too many can reproduce and cause a racket during greenleaf."
She jumped down from the rocks leading toward the Dead Plains. As she padded along, she knew of Darkpaw's glare, and she knew that perhaps she was the only one who could help.

"Okay." Darkpaw mewed, with his head down so that Pebblestar couldn't see what he was feeling. It didn't mean that he was depressed, just that he'd like to keep to himself for now.

((Okay, I'm going to skip the whole burial ceremony. It'll be too sad! crying ))
Redtail padded back into camp with Lunapaw behind her. Her throat felt really tight. She went to the warriors den and sat down sulkily.
Stormflight saw Redtail reappear in the camp. She immediately ran to her side to comfort her. "Get some rest, Redtail. You have dawn patrol tomorrow." She meowed. Redtail nodded and went to her nest. Stormflight sighed. How was she going to act now?
Stormflight shook her pelt and looked around. She needed to do the evening Patrol.
Stormflight padded to the apprentices' den. She spotted Daypaw in her nest. "Hey Daypaw, do you want to go on patrol with me?" She asked.

((NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Ul- and Grimm-- TWO OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS ARE DEAD!!!!! Well, Grimmjow is questionably dead, BUT THAT DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT ULQUIORRA IS!!! *sob* *ismourning*))
"Uh, sure Stormflight." Daypaw mewed meekly.
Pebblestar kept her eyes focused on her path. If Darkpaw knew of her intentions, he may act sooner without hearing her out.

Padded back into camp and looked around. Her eyes still stung from the tears and her fur was a bit damp. She sat outside the apprentices den and wrapped her tail round her paws. She licked one of her front paws and cleaned her face and then proceeded with the other one. She then looked round the camp to see what could be done. She would love to train but she expected that most of the warriors were busy. She would have to talk to Pebblestar about getting a mentor, she didnt want to slack and wanted to be ready for anything. She then wondered who would sit vigil with Jaypaw tonight.
