A⋘⋘Nid Nevero⋙⋙Ω As the metal man stood up and threw the shackles off he statted to brush himself off. "Now before we get started I have a certain degree of class that those mogrels tried to rob me of. My name is Nid Nevero. I would like a few things though my bag for starters. After which I will need a little while to harvest materials from your handiwork and fix my various mechanical implants that have significantly weakened due to improper care. While I do this I require that you explain to me who you are, what you need of me, and why me specifically, there are many men around here that have my "repairing" skills."
And with that Nid set to fixing himself and harvesting various organs from the two dead soldiers making a point that he can multi-task and will pay the utmost attention to his savior.

A⋘⋘Nid Nevero⋙⋙Ω "Little girl if all you ask is a distraction then you have picked the wrong being, I can turn that camp into a crypt by the time the sun shines, but I never do more or less so you shall have your distraction." With that he went search for the dead platoon and begins the long process of reanimating the bones into horrors that can only be inspired by hell. Flaming skulls shrieking like banshees in the night, lumbering giants created by the fusion of still wet corpses, and little metacarpals and phalanges shooting from skeletons shrunken down to the size of a small child. Hours later he finally speaks, "Here" He says, and hands her a fleshy skull that has been the subject of a few mechanical additions and explains how the creatures will obey her commands. "There is your distraction use it as you please the undead I have summoned will only last a day and a night so I recomend using them at midnight. Dont give any complex commands though as they are simplistic creatures. I'm setting a few watching eyes up for myself I wish to see how you handle this. I would order them myself, but I don't believe in killing and I suspect that you wish for more than these soldiers to run in terror." And with that he sits down letting his Helping Hand minions get the harder to reach areas on his arms and chest.

With what he had made her, she probably won't even need to go down there herself. Yet one thing that was out of the question was his suggestion. Wait until midnight? Like I have that kind of patience, and with me in control, I can easily take them out. She stared at the skull a bit more, taking in it's shape and function, then looked back up towards Nid. xxx "So, about all this..." A smirk grew onto Kira's face, "This is mostly just something extra for me. Your real job is outside of this desert, something that only you can do." Her light red eyes shifted to the upper right, indicating thought. "Well, other's can do it, but none readily available. Not to mention you couldn't finish the job properly without a certain item that I have down there."xxxTaking the opportunity to give the dead creatures a good warm-up. They started to move around, lining themselve up into formal ranks, from smallest to largest. Nid was correct on one thing, they were simple. She had to pretty much order them as if they were five, which had annoyed her at first, but she got used to it real quick. ♟♟♟♟♟♟♟♟▄▀ ♜♞♝♚♛♝♞♜▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

A⋘⋘Nid Nevero⋙⋙Ω At this Nid sighed heavily and spoke in an agitated voice with a hint of fear "Well then kind Secuutus of diabolus I will accept my task and begone from your presense immediatly. And I really do hope you have at least a small degree of patience." As he said those last words a sudden wind blew throughout the land that seemed to turn all to ice, and the small tin man suddenly grew a devilish smile that seemed more at home in the face of a devil. "I hope that all goes as planned and don't forget that I will be watching I hope to add a few more minions to the ranks of Satan himself. Now tell me this task of mine and let it be a bloody task indeed." As he said these words Kira couldn't help but fill ill at ease with something just not right in what the strange old man had said.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ ▄▀♖♘♗♔♕♗♘♖ ▄▀♙♙♙♙♙♙♙♙ ♥ɮɩӷɑ♥xxxA small chill made it's way up Kira's spine at Nid's sudden change in attitud. Even his eyes had seemed to change, less trustworthy and more brutal than tehy were mere seconds ago. Her brow furrowed and her lips pursed tightly. The jaw moved indicating that her lower lip was once again under the influence of a life long habit. She was motionless as her mind raced through everything she had gathered on Nid, which in this case wasn't much. His notes were her only clue, and as she flipped through the pages of her memory, she noticed that somedays they would end abrubtly and in others no entry was made at all. An odd event for an architect and a necromancer indeed. xxxShe noticed that her superiority had faltered, show weakness, a weakness she refuses to have. Her brow unfurrowed, her eyes turned colder than ice, and she jutter her chin forward a bit. "I'm going to make one thing clear..." Kira too two bold steps forward and pressed her face an ince away from Nid's. "I may know little about you, but you know nothing about me. Look at me with thoses eyes again, and I will make sure they get to watch every moment of you death." Kira's teeth were clenched, she never liked it when something caught her off guard, and she made sure everyone knew about it. xxx"Now," stepping away and drawing in a deep breath that seemed to relax her vigor, "your purpose won't even matter if we don't get what you need." Looking over the hill, Kira watched the camp getting ready to move again, "But the first part will have a lot of blood." With this, she gave the order for the small army of undead to begin their charge upon the unexpecting platoon. She stayed back to watch, for about the first ten minutes or so, she had planned, and was surprised at the speed of her minions movement. ♟♟♟♟♟♟♟♟▄▀ ♜♞♝♚♛♝♞♜▄▀ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

A⋘⋘Nid Nevero⋙⋙Ω "You really don't understand do you girl. I am not alive you don't scare me at all. Why right now you could slit my throat and nothing would happen. I am a Lich a Necromancer that binded his soul to a corpse." And with that he looked up at the moon and laughed as only a madman could. Suddenly the soldiers spotted the undead shuffling there way. As they prepared to stand and fight the skulls started shrieking and flew over their heads scaring the soldiers and making one run. With their attention on the skulls the undead horde suddenly sprang into action slamming into the spearwall and breaking it with shear mass. With the lesser undead being crushed by the monsters behind then the soldiers stood their ground and started to fight back. In vain they slashed at the bones and were soon overrun by the monstrousity and started to run. Unknowingly to them the smallest undead snuck behind them and threw little daggers at the soldiers running towards them with deadly precision. Kira grinning with the gruesome slaughter of the soldiers suddenly felt ill at ease. The undead were no longer under her control and continued to mutilate the dead soldiers. As she looked at the necromancer she saw that he was steadily chanting something. She strained her ears and was mortified at what he was chanting, "The blood moon kills the masters" Kira tried to remember the journal that he had on the blood moon and all she remembered was that it was a time of terror for the necromancers with the undead ruthlessly killing their masters before midnight and then they would feast on She looked up and in horror saw the moon was blood red and realized that the necromancer had tricked her.

@->->---- Ashlynn Servine ----<-<-@ Ash moved into the camp, moving covertly from shadow to shadow. She sheathed her right axe and slipped the tips of her fingers into a small pouch at her hip. As she reached the first campfire, around which nobody was currently stationed for they were attending the now passed out leader. She tossed, well more like threw, the powder from the pouch into the fire. As soon as it hit the fire it reacted with the force and light of a mage's fireball. The only thing that separated it from a fireball, was the fact that it gave off no heat. It DID however, cause everyone in the camp, except herself for she had properly shielded her eyes, to become momentarily blinded.
Taking advantage of their sightless moment, she took out a six-inch dagger after sheathing her axe again. Approaching the nearest warrior she quietly slit his throat as he bumbled around. She caught him as he fell and, with strength one her small size should not possess, drug him off out of sight behind a tent. She quickly stripped him and donned his armor; binding her hair up underneath the helm so that it would not show. He had been small for a man and so his armor was not that all too big. She stepped back into the open after ensuring that no one would come upon the body anytime soon. As soon as the soldiers had regained their vision again they had scattered and were searching for the source of the heat-less, fire-less, soundless explosion.
Having left behind her axes for the customary sword of a soldier she instead pulled out a small, minuscule dagger that would not be noticed amid all the confusion. Pulling a small vial out of a pocket inside her right sleeve, she placed a drop of the clear liquid in a hollow spot near the tip. Choosing at random she picked a soldier out of the gaggle and siddled up behind him. She pricked the back of his neck with the tip of the dagger. He swatted the back of his neck as if willing away a pesky bug. A few moments latter, his eyes glazed over and he collapsed, choking on his own swollen tongue. It was not a quick way to die, nor was it painless, but it was the most satisfying for Ash to watch. By then she had gotten tired of the duck and dodge tactics and decided to fight them head-on.
She returned to where she stowed the body and her things, shed the armor and sword, replaced her own outer clothes and picked up her axes, twirling them in her hands before attaching them at the handles. She moved back out into the open and was met by surprise, confusion, and anger as she was seen by the soldiers. They reacted quickly, which surprised her, to a point, no matter how surprised she was though, she met their charge with a charge of her own. No longer using cutthroat tactics she showed to be a marvelous fighter. She took them out in quick succession. One after another, after another. Soon she had the number of soldiers cut in half in minutes. 'If injury should be done to a man it should be so severe that his vengeance need not be feared.'

<---Io Terra---> xxxIo had watched the slaughter, surprised how well a single person can do against an entire camp of Barthulian soldiers. Her movements were graceful and utterly effective. He had indeed found his woman, but he was unsure how well he would be able to stand against her if they were to face against each other. Upon closer inspection, he couldn't believe his eyes. He clothing indicated that she was indeed a soldier, but she was adorned in Barthulian armor. Why would she kill her own men, or was it the otherway around? It didn't matter though, he had to choose sides, because as he looked in the distance, there was more turmoil in another camp, except that one had two forces against each other, one carrying the Bartulian strategy.
xxxHopping down the sandy slope, Io began to help the woman, surely if they did fight, he would have less worries having to keep an eye on one than on many. He formed hardened spikes out of the sand infront of him and clashed into a few of the armored men, impaling a few to instantaneous death. He then crushed one of his slips of paper, tossing it up and turned away quickly as it burned into a flash of light. It worked a bit better than he had hoped, giving him the time needed to finish the rest with a few balls of fire. Their screams died off shortly, either because of death, or they could no longer breath oxygen over the fumes of their smoldering bodies.
xxxIo dusted himself off as he kept his gaze on the woman now, unsure of her intentions, and less sure of her trustworthyness. In his eyes, both sides were treacherous towards their own, who had started this treachory was the only question he had in mind. "Well? Did I choose correctly? Or should I have gone for you instead?" There was caution in his voice, as if he was waiting for the worst possible outcome.

@->->---- Ashlynn Servine ----<-<-@ Ash dispatched the last soldier with a little more flair then was absolutely necessary and turned to the newcomer. She looked him up and down closely. A little on the scrawny side, he didn't have the muscle-tone of a fighter and she judged him to be of little threat should it come to a battle between them. She still didn't lower her double-bladed axe for she remembered the elemental spears he had conjured to kill the soldiers. She was certain her reflexes would be quick enough to get her out of harms way in time, but they had not been tested in awhile and, as she had learned early in life, it is always best to err on the side of caution.
She unattached the axes and set into a more defensive position, watching the man as he dusted himself off. He gazed at her with untrusting eyes which brought a smirk to her lips. 'He is smart. He doesn't trust me and once... if he get's to know me, he never will. Trust is a sign of weakness, you can't trust anyone but yourself.' It was one of the many lessons she had been taught by her father before he was killed but she had taken it to heart. The smirk turned sour as soon as he spoke.
"Well? Did I choose correctly? Or should I have gone for you instead?" The man appeared to be about her age, and yet he decided he could judge her easily? 'Just who does he think he is?' she thought furiously. 'That he can judge me this quickly?'
Out loud she spoke to him quietly, her voice laced with poison {Figuratively} "That depends, what side are you on and what would you have to gain from killing me?"'If injury should be done to a man, it should be so severe his vengeance need not be feared.'

<---Io Terra---> xxxIo shrank back from the words, more like the tone behind them. Obviously she felt misjudged, either by her skills or appearance. He then relized that his question was answered with another question, it was one of his favorite games, but she didn't look in the mood to play, so he decided to plainly answer. "Changes from battle to battle, lately it's been Barthul." With this he studied her stance, doing his best to find it's strengths and weaknesses. The foot placement suggested defensive, yet the weapons were designed otherwise. He considered hidden blades into his calculations. The second answer sat on his tounge, but he chose to word it carefully, as to not upset the lady anymore than she was.
xxx"I had no gain in killing either than you, but I felt that if I had to fight one on one or ten on one, I would do better with the prior." The tone in Io's voice was calm, but caution still portrayed itself behind the words. His hand was already holding a piece of paper, but it wouldn't do much if she was even remotely intelligent, and her intellegence showed itself in her actions. Not a single movement was wasted in the battle, and he was sure it would happen in their, hopefully non-existant, battle. "Not that I find you a lesser threat, but my skills leave me very vunerable." He didn't want to give everything away, so he left it at that.

@->->---- Ashlynn Servine ----<-<-@ She relaxed minutely, well, it was relaxed for her, for anyone else it would be a purely readied stance as if awaiting an attack. Ashlynn was always waiting for an attack, a dagger in the back, revenge from an unthought of loose end, so for her, this was relaxed. She still had her axes in her hands thought they were held a little looser then before. She was slightly mollified that he obviously meant little by what she perceived as a prejudgment of her. It was then that she realized she still wore the Barthul soldier's uniform. She felt slightly nauseous that she was still in the enemy's clothes but she could do little to change that with an unknown stranger here. She was splattered with blood and her hair was coming out of it's neat braid, that coupled with her wild, emotionless eyes, made for one hell of picture. It appeared she was on the verge of a psychotic break, if not broken already.
She spoke again, and this time it was a little more measured, non hostile, but not friendly either. "So, you are an enemy of Barthul as well? We may just be able to get along." She began twirling the axe in her right hand thoughtfully. 'If injury should be done to a man it should be so great that his vengeance need not be feared.'

<---Io Terra---> xxxIo quickly corrected her, yet did so without sarcasm or hostility, as if he were just speaking the truth (which he was) "Not exactly, but as I said, it has been lately." He always chose to fight against those who are doing wrong, if it had been another country doing this, he would undoubtedly be against them. The sand between them shifted, his previous inscriptions fading away. No longer did he feel in any true danger, yet he still held the slip of paper as if it were his soul. "But I certainly do hope to get along. You seem... better to have than to have not." His own words confused him for a bit, so he clarified, "On your side that is." It made better sense, at least to him.
xxxHe then remembered the other battle, the one that didn't look so pleasant. "In any case, we should get going, it's about to get real ugly real soon." With that he turned his back towards her, but gave one quick glance before gliding up the dune. Io somewhat prayed that she would not make him regret making such an action.

@->->---- Ashlynn Fervine ----<-<-@ The moment he bared his back to her, Ashlynn pounced. Before he could register her movement, she was behind him, her axes sheathed her hand reached around front around his neck. 'Fool. Turning your back on someone you do not trust is a sure way to end your life.' She did not apply any pressure, there was just enough there to keep him from trying to move. She whispered in his ear harshly, no room for argument, a deadly threat concealed in the tone of her voice. "Never turn your back on anyone. Never!" She released him and continued on as if nothing had happened. 'If injury should be done to a man, is should be so great that his vengeance need not be feared.'

<---Io Terra---> xxxA thin layer of sand started to crumble from Io's skin, he even shook it loose from his hair. Never underestimate your opponent. He kept this to himself, just to steer away from violence. He noticed his hand was clenched around the pieced of paper, he dropped it, letting the cackles of lightning flow into the sand. He followed her, as she probably felt her destination to be the best choice, and it mattered not as to where Io went, as long as he had the chance to learn something new. The thought of teaching her a lesson came to mind once more, but he willed it away, not needing anymore confrontations.
