[Shadow.Elven-mage] And power-hungry Slytherin loved those of great ambition...|> ---|Coke kept me alive during year twelve when I had classes before school started for three days a week out of five. I am addicted to the stuff. Can't stand Diet Coke, though - artificial sweetener is horrible, and carcinogenic besides.|--- <|Slytherin Pride! Ugh, I can't stand regular Coke. x.x It's far too sweet for me. I can only drink Diet as that was what I was raised on.
It may be carcinogenic (although everyone in my family has drunk it for its past twenty-five years in existence and not a one has gotten cancer *knock on wood*) but at least it isn't used to clean toilets and can't disintegrate a screw in two days. (a memorable day in home ec back in seventh grade where we learned the lovely truth of Coca Cola...put me off the stuff even more than I already was).

jagjaglover Diet huh? That's ok, because diet isn't as fat so hooray! That's true. One can of regular Coke is almost enough for two people. It has, like, 400 calories in one can or something.

The fact that it's carcinogenic actually doesn't figure too largely in my decision not to drink the stuff (though I did use it as an excuse when I was persuading my dad to give it up).|--- <|Slytherin Pride!

Okay, that's fine. I can't stand regular Coke (srsly, I can't stand the syrup, that actually DOES make me gag) and you can't stand Diet Coke. I wasn't trying to change your mind.

I was just stating that as it has happened to me before. I say something and someone is like 'STOP TRYING TO CHANGE MY MIND!' and I'm like '...I wasn't o.O'

It's usually when we debate in classes that weren't my AP ones (such as AP English, we debated and everyone but one person who was so serious about everything to the point of near dementia when she ranted that it cracked everyone else up. She argued for the sake of arguing) are the ones most likely for that, I've noticed.

on a side note, i'm entering an anti-soda fad because all soda has started tasting weird to me.

My aunt is a Coca-Cola FANATIC. Examples of this: she puts up a Coke tree at Christmas, she decorated her kitchen with Coke wallpaper and uses Coke glasses, cook-books, and other such things, and she has a giant coin bank shaped like a Coke bottle.
As such, I was pretty much raised on regular Coca-Cola. I like it all right, but I don't drink much soda anymore. If I do it's a bottle of root beer.
A 1 liter bottle of Coke takes me at least 2 days to drink. Sometimes it even takes as long as a week.

Uberniftacular It happens, I guess. Jones Soda makes me happy. But most people have no idea what it is. But that's okay. jones is good, but now that pic-a-pop is back i'm gonna stick with that even though they only have about 7 flavors compared to the 100 or so before they closed
