Osoreru grinned. "Then let's not fly right into that death trap."
He looked down at the ground sailing away beneath them and let out a sigh. "This is the worst hunt I've ever been on. Only Rai and Sparkles could make it worse." Osoreru prayed to the dear Modeities that he and Aodh did not run into those two. They could ruin his day any day and everyday that he saw them, and this day did not need to be ruined any more than it already had... 'Stupid bear... Thank goodness you're dead...'

Aodh could only nod in agreement. He didn't hate his brother and his brother's mate the way Osoreru did, but sometimes he just wasn't in the mood to put up with them. This was one of those times--stressed, angry, and he didn't need their cheerfulness to make the whole thing worse.
"Found a mountain lion," Aodh called out some time later, as a new range of cliffs drew into range in the distance.
