Casually Gorgeous Futon-Revolutionist Don't you do too many drugs to go all New Age on our asses? Anyway, I at least agree with you about the cubicle jobs sucking thing. That's why I'm going to be a geologist. Rocks are pretty and you generally have to go outside to find them. I blaze every once in a while, and I drop a tab of acid every few months, I dont think that's too many/much.
@rex- Retarded maybe, but not insane. If you even somewhat consider that s**t you're both.

I think z-rex took a whole hour of my time explaining the bullshittery of new age medicine. I'm pretty sure he's looked into it.

All the new age medicine stuff gets its effectiveness exaggerated by its proponents, but most of it actually does help somewhat. Homeopathic medicine is good sometimes where the pharmacies fall short, and yoga and all that stuff makes a noticeable positive difference in your health.

So do sit-ups. Because they're EXERCISE.
If new age healthyness is so effective then why do these super wise people use our medicine now? The Chinese are using penicillin, not roots.
And I've looked into it, Kaleb. The world record for youngest person to have a paper published in a medical journal belongs to an elementary school girl who beat the AMA by disproving therapeutic touch.

Im not talking about eating roots and random 'super herbs' people are always coining these days.
Im talking about healing work to do with energy fields and vibrational forces.

Apparently you're too ignorant and close minded to even try and understand though.

Personally I think all those "vibrations" and whatnot are just the power of influence. If you give someone something that sounds deep and technical they believe it's going to work they get better (like placebos). It's never been downright proven that it's all fact.

Placebo effect is a perfect example.
Why do you think it works so well? Because the person put so much focus and intent on getting better because they're convinced a sugar pill will cure them.
Positive energy = getting better.
