Ice Cold Panther Carolina Panthers vs. New York Jets point blank. I'm losing faith in the Panthers after their last two games. They barely slipped past the Raiders and the Lions, easily among the worst teams in the NFL.

It would be great for them to meet in the Super Bowl, to settle who's really the best team in the NFL. A Titans vs. Giants final would be awesome.
But I really wish that they could meet during the regular season...That's just because neither the Giants or the Titans are guaranteed to make it all the way, so it's not in stone that they'd play each other.

Nyu-kun The New York Giants (15-3) and The Indianapolis Colts (14-5) Manning and Manning. That would be awesome. Yeah, that would be great. Think how happy (and nervous) Archie would be? It might not happen this year, because the Colts are out of their division race, and they will have to play on the road throughout the playoffs. You're predicting that the Colts will win out, and I don't think that's likely to happen. Who would have thought that the Giants would be more stable than the Colts in the regular season? I think it's more likely to happen like next year, when the Colts are fully healthy.

I think it's more likely to happen like next year, when the Colts are fully healthy. From my prediction, Colts won't win out. They'll lose 1 more game. The Colts are 6-4 right now. Titans will feel the pressure if they meet week 17 and they're both 11-4... Colts have been known to start seasons crazily going 13-0 4 years straight or something? Maybe instead of starting hot, they end hot this year? As for the Titans, They could lose the game against the Jets, Steelers, and Colts. Three loses there. The 4th would have to be a loss against Detroit, Cleveland, or Houston. Cleveland could give them a run though and Division games are always tough. It's unlikely, but the Colts very well could take the lead in the division. Also... I think home field advantage is overrated.... It's useful to have... But Pittsburgh did it is 2005. The Giants did it last year. The reason teams don't do what they do is because... The best teams are seeded on top. Yeah...

The Titans have a four game lead with 6 to play, and they currently own the tiebreaker against the Colts. Also, they are 10-0, so it's unlikely that they'll acquire a losing record in their final 6 games, with the form they're playing at. Look for the Colts to be a first or second wild card team for the AFC. Home-field advantage isn't really overrated. Yeah, you said the 2007 Giants and the 2005 Steelers...but what about all the other times and years? More likely than not, a home-field advantaged team makes it to the Super Bowl. Also, more important than the home-field is the first round bye, where upsets can happen.

I say homefield advantage is overrated. Look at the teams who get that advantage. Why do they have this advantage? Because they're the best teams during the season. They're not going to lose in a game that means a lot. It doesn't matter if it's played in a neutral site, away, or at home. Those teams have those seeds because they're the best.
Still, homefield does help, but it's still overrated.

Still, homefield does help, but it's still overrated. You make a valid point, because the higher seeded teams should be able to beat lower seeds on any field. But it still helps, and I don't really think it's overrated. But in college football, home field advantage is sacred, and almost guarantees a win.

Giants vs Jets. The Giants are a dominant in the NFC even with Brandon Jacobs and Plaxico Buress gone today. And the Jets stomped the Titans today so I think they're the best bet in the AFC.
