inunicky when tampa bay won the super bowl did they have an explosive offence no they just had one good enough to get by just like this year and sayin they will go 7-9 is crazy and you dont know what ur talkin about and also i thiink warrik dunn is a very capable back untilll ethher cadilac or grham comes back But when Tampa Bay won the Super Bowl, they had an easy ride into their playoffs. At that time, the NFC South was a pretty bad division. Now, all four teams are contenders, and there are three teams making a statement for a playoff spot.

Dude-LAP Duke_619 Look, if your a true fan, you have to be obsessed about you team. I think tampa bay is a very very good team, and espn said that they were one fo the best teams not named the giants or titans. Tampa is better than any team in that divison, their the most solid. Falcons are the biggest threat, but Ryan got very flustered against the bucs last time. The Panthers havnt done s**t! They cant play big in big games! And when your QB is throwing 2-3 int's a game, you cant go far. Tamp will win the division. I'm not saying the Bucs are a bad team. They are a very good team. Great complete defense behind Kiffin, and a potentially explosive offense. But do you really think they can move forward as well as they were, without Earnest Graham? Warrick Dunn is good, but Cadillac Williams looks like he won't be ready too soon. Also, a #2 receiver has failed to emerge. Its going to be a challenge, but I think they will get by fine.

Well a lot depends on tomorrow. I'm guessing that the Buccaneers beat Detroit pretty handedly. Then that leaves the Panthers vs. Falcons game, in Atlanta. If the Falcons win, the Bucs have a better shot at winning the NFC South, but will have a tougher time getting into the playoffs, with another team on their tails. If the Panthers win, the the Bucs will have a better shot at making it into the playoffs as a wild card, but could still also win the division.

IndianapolisColtsFan *Cough *cough "Michael Turner is overrated" *cough *cough lol. Well Matt Ryan threw no touchdown passes. Turner got the red zone and goal line touches. ...But this was the first real game where Michael Turner came up big when most needed. This was a must-win game, against a tough team who is a division opponent. And the Falcons, led by Turner, showed up to play.

now tampa is leading the NFC south. The Bucs are on a major role and didnt miss a beat (except the first quarter where some weids s**t happened) Dunn is running as good as he ever did, and tampa's d is playwing excelent, making big plays, and still havnt allowed a 100 yd rusher all year.

Yeah, the Bucs were lucky that they were playing the Lions, so they could easily come back from a 17 point deficit. They also got help from the Falcons who beat the Panthers, leaving the NFC South theirs for the moment. But since Atlanta won, the top three teams in this division are in the playoff race. Two could very well make it in as wildcards, but Tampa can't miss a beat if they want to win the NFC South. If it makes sense, it's easier for them to miss the playoffs than to lose the division. Tampa Bay is lucky to have three of their remaining five games at home, but they still have a pretty tough schedule. The Bucs have to travel to Atlanta and travel to Carolina, two venues that are difficult to win in. They also face the unpredictable Saints, the player-talented Chargers, and the Raiders (who just upset the Broncos @ Mile High).

CocoSweet im going with the saints on this one... after last night, if they keep playing like they did, i think theyll get atleast 2nd I wouldn't judge them by just one [home] game. The Saints were lucky that their offense played great, because their defense looked shaky on Monday night. Come to think of it, New Orleans' defense hasn't played well all season. At just a game over .500 and in a tough NFC South division, I don't see them finishing other than last place.

Tampa destroyed both Atlanta and Carolina last time they met, now i know these games are away but still, tampa's defense is playing wayy too good to drop these two divisonal games. I wouldnt doubt if they lost to the Saints but other than that they are looking to make it into the playoffs hot.

No surprise that the Bucs beat the Panthers and Falcons at home. But I think that although the Bucs could win those two games, Carolina and Atlanta should be favored. The Saints could give the Bucs a challenge, but the Tampa Bay should be able to win that one.

inunicky how can u say that the hottest team in the nfl is goin to lose both gamess they mit lose one but i dont seee them losing both Hottest team in the NFL? No. And how can they lose both those games? For one, they play both games away, at Atlanta against the Falcons, and at Carolina against the Panthers. The Falcons are 8-4 and the Panthers are 9-3. Also, all NFC South teams play great at home this season. Yes, I think that the Bucs have a good chance to win both games, but the Falcons and Panthers (at home) should be favored against Tampa Bay.
