Eli Manning has tha better career. Tony Romo has not proven himself in tha playoffs. Tony is 0-2 in tha playoffs. Eli has lead his team 2 a Super Championship, and a victory against tha undefeated (New England Patriots mad ). I'm glad tha Giants beat them. Anotha reason Eli is betta is tha the teams him and his team has beaten 2 get 2 tha super bowl. The major wins b4 they reached tha Super Bowl waz against Dallas and Green Bay. Tony needs 2 step his game up.

It wouldn't surprise me if Romo has better regular season stats until Jason Witten and Terrell Owens retire.

Yet Dallas will have a few small problems. Wade Phillips could have a do-or-die season this year (Jerry Jones could fire him if he has another playoff meltdown). The offensive line is getting quite older. Also, there are a lot of expensive contracts in the system, so they have to watch salary cap space, as well as rationing necessary deals.

if there is that cappless 2011 jerry jones will sign everyone. what you do in a capless season is you sign your player for how evermany years then givem almost the full value on the capless year then like the league minimum on the other years.

Jerry Jones would probably do that with Dallas in 2011, if it did happen. Other teams that would sign nonstop in a capless year could be the Seahawks and Redskins as well. Another option is a strike after 2011, but I doubt that'll happen. I think the owners' decision that came in this past offseason was a bluff, and this will be resolved within the next season or two. ...But back to the question, I don't think TO will last past 2012 as a player. He's great, but he's getting old for a wide receiver in this league. Look what happened to Keyshawn Johnson, a player very similar to Owens.

He's towards the end of his prime, but is still an incredible threat on offense. About how long he'll play, I think that it depends on how well the Cowboys do. If they win a Super Bowl, and constantly go far in the playoffs, I think he'll play longer. I say he has another three or four good years in him. Once receivers reach that peak, it's hard to stay in the game, mentally.

I think that the Cowboys are the team in the NFC, with the best player-roster, able to make it to the next Super Bowl. The only real issues are the receiving game beyond Terrell Owens and Jason Witten, the pressure on Tony Romo and Wade Phillips, the player publicity and off field issues, and the team chemistry.

TJ plays for an offense with a pretty bad offensive line, and a prime #1 receiver in Chad Johnson. The Bengals also have their fair share of #3's. Crayton is good on special teams, but he's not the possession and skill receiver like Housh is. Crayton plays for a good offensive line which gives Romo more time, TO is often double covered, and Witten isn't a deep threat. Crayton should thrive, but he has not so far. He's definitely not as valuable or talented as TJ. Anyways, Hurd and Stanback aren't such good options.

I really wouldn't hate the Cowboys so much if they weren't so over rated. Yes, they do well during the season. I know they got 13-3 the last season.
But they haven't won a playoff game (much less made it to the Super Bowl) in twelve years. Tony Romo chokes late in the season and during the playoffs, but everybody looks past that. Why do people make excuses for him?
First year, he fumbles the ball on one of the most basic, elementary plays in the entire game and what do people say?: -It's his first year. -It was a different ball and it was slippery.
Second year, he gives new meaning to TO in Dallas. He threw at least one interception in all but three games. In the last three games of the season, he threw 5 interceptions and 1 TD. That's worse than Kitna. People started wondering what happened to Tony, but luckily, he has an excuse: -Jessica Simpson.
Seriously? Are people that desperate to celebrate Tony Romo that they'll make up excuses like Jessica Simpson for his lack of performance?
---
Anyway, with all that said, the Cowboys will still probably make the playoffs, but I don't think they're the team to beat in the NFC this year.
Saints will show that '07 was a fluke and they'll go from 7-9 to 12-4. Cowboys might have the same record, but I don't see them doing 13-3 again.
I think Green Bay will have the biggest drop off next season. Off season drama never helps. If Brett Favre plays, the tension will destroy team chemistry and the team locker will become a meat locker. If Brett plays elsewhere, I don't think Aaron Roders will be able to simulate last season's success in his first year as a starter.
