Addie nodded her head. "Oh! Okay!" Hearing a yelp, Addie saw black legs. Digging the kitten out of the sand Addie squeeled. "Look Logan! She's so cute!"
Angel was about to tell him what a Phoenix was when a girl ran by. Watching everyone make a big deal about it, Angel made a fireball appear and started to toss it up and down in her hand.

Ivy's sobbing turned into crying as she stood in the surf. She removed her hands from covering her face and let the tears run down her cheeks as she stared through her tear-stained glasses at the ocean. She slowly sank down to her knees in the water, bring the level up to her torso, and soaking her clothes throughly.
Micah started walking faster, getting worried about his absent half-sister. "I told her to wait at the library," he mumbled to himself. He sighed heavily and started walking back towards the library to search through the shelves once more. "Maybe I just overlooked her..."

"Kitty!" Logan shouted, forgetting about the crying girl in the surf. Some stupid seagull flew by but he wouldn't come too near humans. Logan cuddled up to Addie and petted the kitty.
Luke rushed to the sea shore to find out what was wrong with the crying girl, missing Angel's fireballs completely.
Levi walked slowly to the crying girl and put one gentle hand on her wrist. "Are you okay?" He asked softly.

Kiyo's ears flicked and she mewed at the two holding her. She looked around at all the kids. They were all so young. She mewed against and struggled out of the little girl's hold and onto the sand. Slowly, she turned into her human self, blinking at the two and gave a small smile. "Hi," she said, wearing a school girl outfit. The skirt went to midthigh.

Staring at the girl that was a cat Addie screamed and stood up and ran to Areana holding her.
"Come on, lets go to Angel." Turning to the cat girl Areana spoke softly. "Sorry about that. Bye Logan." She said walking to Angel.
Wrapping her arm around her sisters the three girls sat down away from everything and just sat in a circle creating a fireball and spinning it between them. They were reading each others minds as they did this.

Ivy started at the touch on her wrist. Her eyes widened at the sight of the boy. She opened and closed her mouth, searching for something to say. She finally nodded, blushing and quickly wiping her tears off her cheeks. "I-ii'm sorry to.... have troubled you..." she stammered. "I didn't mean to..." She went quiet and looked away, blushing harder.
Micah ran through the isles, ignoring the yells of the librarians to slow down. "She really did leave..." He finally slowed down and walked back out into the street, trying his best to think of where Ivy had gone. "The beach! That's right!" He mentally smacked his own forehead and he jogged off.

Logan stared blankly at the kitty. For a long time he said nothing. Than he got up slowly, not taking his eyes off of the kitty girl's ears.... which seemed to be he favorite part of her. Logan walked slowly to the girl and then proceeded to pet her head without a word.
Luke heard Addie scream and than watched Addie and Areana leave. That's when he caught a glimpse of the fireballs. "What the hell?" He said, standing where he was."They must be street performers." He dismissed they're fireballs with a wave. "Same thing with the kitty." He said glancing at her and watching his brother pet the kitty.
Levi watched the girl in the waves. "What's wrong?" He asked. Looking at her increasing blush he said, "are you getting sun burn... I've never seen anyone get it so quickly."

Kiyo blinked when the red head started to pet her ears. She purred low in her throat and grinned at the boy. "they are real too," she said, flicking her ears for him. Her tail swayed behind her.

The girls stayed in their circle now letting the fireball rise above their heads and swirl around.
Smiling at each other the girls looked over to everyone.
"Left out again. Arena...Why is it...we are pushed from groups?"
"Angel...Thats how we are...Being Phoenix and Human born...Thats what we are. We are outsiders."
The subject was dropped as they played with the fire in the air.

Ivy looked up at the boy's comment. A slow smile crept across her face as she giggled silently. "I-I'm sorry. I was just embarrassed..." she got quiet as she realized she was still kneeling in the surf. "Oh!" She stood up and looked at her drenched clothes. She blushed again. "This is quite embarrassing..." She shrugged off her own comment. I've been in worse... Ivy studied the boy as she said,"I suppose I'm alright now... May I ask who you are?"
Micah could finally see the outline of the coast as he ran around the corner of the street. Almost there! He slowed down to a jog, and continued on.

"Yes you may." Levi said with a grin. "I'm Levi... and those are my brothers." He pointed at Luke and Logan. "Now there's something I've never seen." He said, noticing Areana, Angel and Addie playing with fireballs.
"Yay!" Logan cooed. "Levi Levi! Can we keep her? She's my kitty!"
Levi watched his brother pet that cat person, stunned.
"Okay, this is about the weirdest thing... Fire girls and a cat person..." Levi glanced at the the crying girl, "This is weird!" He told her.

Kiyo blinked at that. "I think I would keep the lot of you before you can keep me," she said with a small smile and cocked her head in a cat-like manner at them all. "Where are your parents anyway?" She looked around the beach, but didn't see any adults out here.

Ivy giggled. "It certainly is strange. I'm Ivy." She smiled.
Micah ran onto the beach and looked around. "Where is she?" he asked himself. His eyes finally caught sight of her standing in the surf with a boy. He was surprised for a second and the started calmly walking across the sand.
