Hanuli followed Dragoneyes without any hesitation. She glanced back at the 'cats' behind her before she followed willingly. Her mind sidetracked from the importance of the collar as they entered camp. It was quiet but the scent's of the world was busy as one could tell it reeked from cat. Hanuli glanced at Dragoneyes's tail, and thought to chase it later. Her temper was immediately diffused as she closed ranks beside Dragoneyes. She noticed, that this... 'Deputy' was larger in size then she was but was nothing compared to a lynx or a mountain lion... If only she could take a swipe out of that tail! Hanuli quickly glanced away but soon copied Dragoneyes's posture. '...What a strange way to walk...' Hanuli relaxed and allowed her tail to fall, "So, what made this leader a leader?" She asked curiously, the rage in her voice was reduced to a soft yowl.

Dragoneyes looked back at Hanuli. "Smallstar is our leader because he was chosen to be our leader by the leader before him. He was accepted by Starclan, and given his leader name, Smallstar. The ending of his name was different before he was a leader."
Dragoneyes swept her tail in the air. "This is Windclan territory. Up here is the camp that we all live in. There are three other clans, Thunderclan, Riverclan, and Shadowclan. Thunderclan lives in the forest, ?Riverclan by a river, and Shadowclan in a sort of boggy part of the forest." They were at the entrance to the camp. Dragoneyes made her way in, and waited for Hanuli to follow.

"Well, I became deputy and then rose to this position after my predecessor passed. That's what," Smallstar said in a sarcastic tone, walking up behind the group. He had a tendancy to do that. "Where are you from?" he asked, smelling her strange sent. "You are not a forest cat. What is your name?" He looked at his deputy curiously. He knew that Dragoneyes was not ecstatic about outsiders. He looked back at the strange cat and swished his tail. She looked like a kittypet.

'...Maybe I should've just stayed in the forest...' Hanuli blinked at the presence of Smallstar as her ears cocked to the side. "Now really?" She trailed close towards Dragoneyes, feeling the atmosphere of the camp. Hanuli couldn't help but to let out a deep sigh, 'I hate being so repetitive.' She watched Smallstar with a sense of curiosity and a bit of distaste, "I am Hanuli, an oncilla. My mother is the descendant of a feral." She paused, "You are the leader?" Her eyes blinked, 'H doesn't look all to special.' Her ears perked up, "I'm going to join this... Clan." She straightened herself up, "Will you let me?" Her forest green eyes glared towards the leader and waited for an answer.

Smallstar stared at the Ocilla. "Joining WindClan is not a simple matter. Why do think you must? This life is very hard. A decision like this is not to be taken lightly," he said, his eyes penetrating hers. "How did you find us?" He glanced once again toward Dragoneyes. He would confer with her before making any decision. StarClan might not appreciate an outsider joining WindClan's ranks.

Hanuli couldn't help but to scoff. 'What kind of questions are those?' She replied almost imediately, "So I'm expected to live off of this land which I've never been on my own, whence I have never killed a kill or greeted the weather? Am I expected to live life solely on my own when I know there are fellow kin watching my every move and thirsting for blood?" She was reknowned for countering questions with questions. Her mother despised it, so she grew accustomed to it. "And this whole plateau is smothered with your kind's cat scent, would it be wrong for me to explore this land against my will?" Hanuli couldn't help but to let out a small hiss, "Living life with you savage cats would be a world easier then being chased in circles by your likes." Hanuli knew no bounds of territory, scent marks were just simply scent marks. How could one distinguish which cat scent from which cat being could it be from? She felt her pride violated by Smallstar's words but watched, challenging her eyes with his. Hanuli didn't care if she got ruffled up, if Smallstar physically tried to attack her; it would be enough proof for her.

Dragoneyes watched the confrontation, a little bit surprised at herself. She actually liked how this cat stood up for herself and had a fierce wild edge to her. This was no normal kittypet.
"I think we should let her join. She has shwon that she is no normal kittypet, if she were one at all. She turned to Smallstar. "She would be a fine addition to our clan."
She kneaded the ground in thought. "However, I belive we should talk to our medicine cat about this matter. We must have a blessing from Starclan." She blinked at Hanuli in respect. This cat was wild and fierce, not one to be messed with. If she was allowed to join, she would become a mighty and fierce warrior.

Lightface walked over, having heard every word, and still, not particulury trusting Hanuli, though Dragoneyes would be more than a match for her. "Listen, Hanuli, first of all, we're not savage cats. We don't go out looking for a fight. We just defend our territory, because it is ours, and we need all that we need during leaf-bare." She had her hackles raised as well, and her ears flat down. "And being in WindClan isn't all about not having us chasing you. You hunt, and sometimes have to go to bed hungry. You may have wounds, that may not heal. I'm a medicine cat, sure, but even all the herbs in the forest will not heal everything."

Hawkpaw tried to follow the conversation. "What rank would she be,"asked Hawkpaw out of nowhere. He certainly didn't want this cat being a higher rank than he was. Then before anyone could answer he thought he should tell Hanuli what his role in the clan was,"I am a medicine cat apprentice. Lightface is teaching me all she knows of herbs so that if anything ever happens to her I can take her place and serve the clan," said Hawkpaw in a respectful tone knowing that he didn't want to get on this cat's bad side.

((Sorry guys! I fell asleep on the couch at 4 when I got home... And six hours passed. -_-; ))
Hanuli jumped in fright when she heard Lightpaw and Hawkpaw speak so casually. 'Were they follow us?' She flattened her ears, 'Figured as much.' She sneered over at Lightface, bitter at her, "I know the scheme of nature. I need not hear it from the likes of you." At this rate, Hanuli's temperment might lead her into a reckless strike. 'This 'Cat' is trying to act like a cub-baren trying to teach her young!' She snorted and turned her buring gaze to Hawkpaw, her demeanor once again violated by Lightface's words, "Herbs?" Her anger was squelched temporarily as the hackles on her back smoothed, "Do you eat them?" Hawkpaw's respect got through her and in return, she offered her curiosity and serenity. Now, it wasn't a venerated respect. Just respect as a fellow clan-member and not a shady stranger. Her flaring green eyes glimmered in the dull sunlight as her ears perked up from their harried position.

Lightface spoke up, determined not to be angry. "I teach her, because someone taught me, and before that, and all the way since the Clans were started. If I die, she will take my place." She paused. "And, yes, we eat herbs, because, if you get greencough or some other sickness, you will join StarClan quicker than a mouse's heartbeat if you don't eat catmint." Lightface looked at Hawkpaw, and whispered to him, "Don't say this to Hanuli, but I'm not sure if she'll be a warrior or apprentice. She is a good fighter, I admit, but she'll need some time for the warrior code and whatnot." She got up, and mewed to Hanuli, "Yes...and, if you are a warrior for a while, you may get an apprentice, who you must teach hunting and fighting, and the warrior code."

Dragoneyes watched all the meowing take place, a thoughful look on her face. She turned to Smallstar.
"I think that we should let her join as an apprentice. She has the warrior spirit certainly, but does not know enough about the clans to be a warrior. I will gladly take her as an apprentice, though it will not be a regular appreticeship," she said softly, so no one other than Smallstar could hear.
"Overall though, it is your choice," she said, bowing her head respectfully to the leader.

Lightface glanced at Dragoneyes, but did not hear. She thought for a second how lucky she was, how she had an apprentice, and that Hanuli even had no intrest in the medicine cat life.

Lightpaw had followed them almost into Smallstar's den. But she knew that it was not her place to enter....only being an apprentice. She would have to quiet her curiosity for a while and wait. She might ask Hawkpaw when he came out of the den what the fate of the outsider would be. At first she sat very close to the entrance, hoping to catch a word or two that was quietly mewed from within, but then when she thought about it, it seemed even more disrespectful to eavesdrop on the private conversation. She got up, sighed, and walked farther away. Trying to ignore the nawing urge to sit closer and strain her ears in vain.
She started to groom herself even though she didn't really need it, and listened to the familiar sounds of the moor. The wind gently brushed through her fur. She relaxed in the perfect combination of warm sun and refreshing breeze. She closed her eyes in thought. Her tail flipped from time to time every so often while she waited for her clan members and the outsider to come out of her leader's den. She had a feeling that if Smallstar didn't allow that cat...... Hanuli...... to join the clan then it might be a little awkward, if not violent, departure for the clanless cat.

Lightface sighed. She wanted to tell Hanuli of terrible things that might happen to the Clan, convince her to leave. But, she couldn't and wouldn't. That'd be terrible.
