Role call... How many people know of their duties?
PostPosted: Wed Apr 23, 2008 12:19 pm

1. As a mod you must promise to try to check the guild every time you get on Gaia. If you are able to, please visit at least once a week.(just to check in and all that)

Yeah I'm onhere atleast once a day if not more.

2. Uphold the rules of this guild and the Gaia TOS. (in your actions, and in reprimanding those breaking the rules)

I'll do my best.

3. Uphold the truths of the bible, and keep everything as non-denominational as possible. Make clear what is your personal opinion/belief and what the guild represents (discussing denomination is fine, but as far as outreach/advice we should stick to the core beliefs of the bible, opinions on controversial topics such as abortion, homosexuality/other sexual sins, death penalty, and others as they cause problems should not be enforced as truth from a mod position; which means you can't ban/modify users/posts because of their opinions of that subject)

I think it's fair to say i failed at this one. although seeing as how i can technically post relative to the bible without supportin or denying(if i ever saw a need to) the real thing that irks me is the fact that you discriminate against those in this guild that don't uphold christ's teachings.

4. If I assign you as specific duty, please follow it to the best of your ability.(if you can't for some reason please talk to me about it)

may i suggest "disturber of the s**t?" seriously my existance on this guild irks the living crap out of everyone on the guild already why not make it a position? now i know what you're about to say it's "NO!" however if you consider the fact that defending one's faith against me causes one to learn and truly examine the bible getting more out of it than simply a large group of christians agreeing with each other.

5. I ask that you stay in the guild for at least a month before applying for a mod position, and I think a minimum of 50 post should be enforced as well. (I can make exceptions but don't count on it)

Been there. Done that. Bought the T Shirt.

6. A mod can not ban members without my permission and must provide a good excuse with evidence to back their claims.

i wouldn't ban anyone for anythign except extreme stupidity.

I reserve the right to revoke you crew status at anytime, especially if you break any of these rules. Keep in mind the rules are subject to change at anytime, and I'll update you when they do.
