It's all opinion, but I don't think that the MGS series is at all overhyped. There are people who don't like it because it's too literary, and people don't want to have such an indepth story while playing any game except an RPG, but I think it's awesome. :shrug:
It's a piece of art, and you either like it or you don't, but that doesn't mean the people who like it are wrong. 3nodding I honestly didn't think all that much of FF VII's story (What I've seen of it.)

I never said I didn't like it. I personly thought the series was fantastic and quite innovative. But i never played the games untill after all the reviews...which hype the game up really big, then a play it, and found my expectations were a bit to high. Its not a bad thing really, but I honostly hate a game that gets way to much hype. Its why Halo wasn't that enjoyable for me. It was way too over hyped for me...so it didn't live up to what I was expecting. Because of that I've learned not to listen to what any one says and make my own desition.

Ahhh... Yep. 3nodding I had just heard that MGS was good, and I played it and loved it, so I decided to play all of them. sweatdrop I haven't bought 3 yet (I was waiting for Subsistence, and now that it's out I don't have any money), but I beat 2, and I'm working on the GBC game called Ghost Babel.

The DS lite is pure sex. crying I sold my DS so I could buy a PSP, and now I really wish I hadn't made that decision... Virtually no good games came out for the PSP after launch, and I just sold it recently. sweatdrop But the DS has had a lot of games I want recently! And games I'd play many times, unlike MG Ac!d!

MiNdCaNdY i gotta say one thing... the DS Is pure SEX heh, i'm carrying sex in my pocket.... Aww man, everyone got all this cool stuff and all I got is GBA and at home Play Station2 (sold my Sega and Nintendo64 and used to have Atari long ago sweatdrop

hmm.. i've got
xbox
DSLite
PSone (the mini psx with the screen attachment. Also sex) Massive collection of games for this system
and a game boy advance SP.
Also have access to a NES and an SNES.
Plan to get a 360 when the price drops, and a Wii when it comes out.

I've only got a GBA SP (Way teh sex) and a PS2. I used to have that same little PSX, but I sold it for the PS2. Still have the screen, though; EBGames won't buy it. whee
And I definitely will buy the Wii when it comes out, if I have a job.

I suppose. I heard alot of gameboys get stuck in toilets?
