TheMessiah So we could comfortably fit 5 people to a room? Comfort is a relative term... According to most Tent makers, the rooms could comfortably sleep 12 or so... According to me, it isn't comfort unless everyone has their own bed, if not room. Also, the rooms are not uniform, some have sofas, others don't.

$150/room/night for 4 people would be a bit over $40 a night per person? O_O; That's not too bad.

Bit of a bump so people can see it again.
Who've we lost in the past months or so? I know Buggy wont be able to make it and apparently the chance for DV going is dwindling? sweatdrop

Teri: My math sucks. XD
I know that I'll at very least be in CA during that time period. 3nodding I've talked to my grandmother about going and she's fine as long as she's allowed to come too, as she wants to ensure I'm safe.

~sighs wearily~
Well, there is a bit of a bump, something I'm sure can be worked arround, but it bears mentioning... The California department of Parks and Rec (which always has priority, as Asilomar is a state park) has training scheduled for that time... This may lead to non-paid reservations getting bumped out. Over the next couple months I'll try to secure as many rooms as possible but I may have to outsource.
Even if I do have to find alternate lodging... My Word that the cost to the conventionists shall not exceed $150/night/room.

I will steal your lobster if you don't come Anetra!
Fiddlers: Keep us updated. I'd much rather bunk with others to cut cost, but I'll find a way to get the money if I have to solo it. 3nodding
Also, a friend of mine who has stopped by in DYBIM a couple of times showed interest in going as well. So add one more to the list. I'll keep you updated, but there shouldn't be any problems with getting time off of work for it on his end, and I know I'll be able to request time off. 3nodding

Unless my entire life changes drastically, I will NOT be able to make it. This is mostly a money issue, and I am not comfortable accepting charity from those I haven't met in person.
Be sure to take loads of pictures for me, I guess.

I shall Bunnyman.
Verily it shall be so Will.
This is not exactly how I planned the matter to go... Fortunately... I never put any faith in the plan anyway. I trust my contingencies. I just need to work and see which one pans out best. wink
