Sai padded over and opened the pizza box, she stared at it. It wasn't like any pizza she had ever seen. Then again, she generally ate at authentic italian places when she wanted pizza. "Normal...right." She picked up a piece and stared at it further. "Why is it a triangle?"

"That's how it was cut," Kaleb said, and nervously took his own slice. While he was doing laundry he had forgotten how stressful the near-constant disapproval could be, so he probably wouldn't eat much more than that single piece.

"Just give it a try Sai, pleaseeeeee?"Demy stared at her with puppy eyes a moment before snagging his own piece of pizza.

The whole idea of this 'pizza' if it even was pizza, confused her. Pizza was square, and crispy, and didn't have cheese, and was cut into tiny squears, this was...well this broke all the rules. Could it even taste like pizza? Sai hesitated as Demy gave her the puppy eyes, and as Kaleb started looking fidgety again. "Alright alright..." She took a small bite and paused to chew it over a bit. She gulped and stared at them both again. "It's...pretty good."

Kaleb let out the breath he had been holding, and managed to smile a bit before taking a bite from his own slice. It was pretty good, even as plain as it was, and if Sai agreed then the meal hadn't been a complete disaster.

"Seeee! It's good!"Now grinning happily, Demy quickly bit into his own slice.

Sai ate her peice slowly, it didn't taste like any pizza she'd had before, but it was still pretty good nonetheless. "You two picked a pretty good morning meal I have to admit."

Kaleb smiled a bit, but he wasn't going to take credit. The food had been all Demy's idea. He kept quiet and nibbled away at his slice, hoping Sai's good mood would hold out for awhile longer.

"I picked it! Though Kaleb said it should be cheese."Demy nodded a bit before going back to eatting his own slice. At least maybe Sai would see he wasn't totally useless, yes?

Sai finished off her piece and grabbed another, taking a seat on a chair near the table content with the meal that had been supplied for her. "So what are you two planning on doing after we can leave this place?"

The little mage set his pizza down for a moment, and actually smiled a little. "I-I need to go home and work on my magic," he said, recalling how exciting it was to have a working portal spell. He just needed the practice so he could use the magical travel without getting dizzy.

"Mmrph..."That was -not- something the guitarist wanted to answer. Band gone, he still had no idea what the hell he was going to do.

Sai nudged Demy a bit, noticing his unwillingness to talk. Then looked over at Kaleb, these two were the same and different at the same time, god what was with her and thinking they were so familiar to her that she could make these judgement calls so loosely anyways? She gave a mental shrug and gave Kaleb a little smile, the kid sure had enough contagious enthusiasm to fuel a stadium's worth of people, hopefully Demy could cheer up from that a bit. "Well me, I think I'm going to try going solo or something, I have my piano and my writing talent, I guess that could be enough for me for a while." She didn't like the idea of going solo really, but it seemed as if it was her only option.
