Doren was actually surprised over that and almost ended up getting impaled. His reflexes saved him as he kicked off the ground, though one he obtained a rather deep gash on his cheek and a cut across his leg, shoulder and side. Oh that was it.
Soren spun his long whip up and flung it downward as the distraction. Dorens fists flickered into a normal tone and he braced against the ground trying not to put to much weight on his cut leg.

(( cool. got a name for that technique?))

Soren landed on a nearby treetop and coiled his whip up ready to strike.
Doren charged into the spikes and spun, nailing one spike and then another finishing with a strike to the dead center of the mass. Lost Taijutsu Art! The Mastery Of Two Layers! The air grew dense with the distinct smell of bone dust as the two spikes fractured off at the base. The last strike punched all the way into the shell until the dimmest shards of light fell on Kimishun, half of the shell was little more than a cracked eggshell, significant pressure from anyone would cave it inward now.

(( What about a Yucca? That's what popped into my head first. It's this nasty thing of spiky leaves that can pierce flesh when enough force is applied. And so you know this move is valid. Mastery of Two Layers negates defense completely and can turn rocks to dust and splinter steel into metal shards. Ironically the more rigid the structure the more destructive it becomes))

The Gale Shield couldn't absorb the concussion very well but the remaining spikes that were in his way seemed to gently curve around him dispite the speed. One of them cut into his shoulder and barely grazed over his clavicle while another actually hit fairly bad on his right side close under his arm, which was fairly good considering if it had remained on course it would have punched a hole through his lung. Doren coughed gently but braced against the ground all the same, keeping his weight from his injured leg. "Ready to stop yet?"
"No fair brother!" Soren called having mearly sidestepped a single spike even though it had taken out a good five centimeter wide hole in the trees trunk. "It's my turn again!" The younger ninja flipped downward spinning his massive whip of lightning and cracking it towards Kimshun, the weighted end with the kunai actually increased the speed he could snap it at and the strong electrical current still ran through it.

"How pleasantly admirable." Doren said taking a couple of steps forward. "Though futile."
Soren grabbed his new whip with his other hand and made some complicated maneuvers to change the direction of the whip and wrap around the new wires. This was enjoyable, this was the longest Lightning Whip he had ever made. "Well it's not like I'll be getting in any trouble for killing you."

(( we will pleasantly remember that the metal you're pulling me in with is metal and therefore conducts electricity ))

Soren growled as he was pulled downward from his perch and sent a visible surge of electrical current down the already sparking line at Kimshun. Other than that he sped purposefully towards his opponent.
Sighing Doren drew the deadly black wakizashi and tossed it to his brother who deftly caught it in mid air and spun it around into a reverse hold.

Soren smirked and dropped his length of wire now. He was close enough that he didn't need it. As soon as his blade was parried he pulled it across his chest and took the double kunai with it. Shadow Discipline Taijutsu Style! He spun and gave a back hand strike to the boys skull.

(( strength is at 260 and taijutsu is up to 280 ))

Soren frowned and flipped his blade back over to his brother. He placed his foot on the back of the Kaguyas neck and considered snapping it for several seconds before just applying pressure and pulling his hand off the spike coming from the boys head. That was extremely painful, but nothing seemed broken.
"He got you really good." Doren said smiling and dropping his Gale Shield.
"Not as badly as he got you." Soren laughed dropping his own shield and ripping a piece of fabric to bandage his wounded hand.
"This is true." Doren said continuing his pleasant smile and limping over to his brother. "I doubt I'd have been able to continue much longer with how bad I was hit." He wiped blood of his cheek from the wound there.
Soren laughed as he watched his brother pick up NightShade and walked over to meet him. "I like him though, he's an artist that kid is. Really good at thinking on his toes."
"Uses a lot of explosive tags though." Doren pointed out.
"Can't blame him. He was outnumbered. Call it an act of desperation." The younger brother said stretching.
"Well I guess so." Doren said stepping into his brothers body to rest. "He's worth keeping an eye on."
"Yeah." Soren said looking down at the boy. "Best to talk to Orochimaru-Sama about him."
He gave a last look at his worthy opponent before vanishing a flicker of speed.

(( so end the saga of double posting. You didn't come close to getting the Twins to yield but you captured their interest none the less and accomplished your goal even though you really had no chance of winning to begin with. lucky you ^^ ))
