The priest nodded to Sara and Kira, taking the water from them. "Don't worry, whatever she has does not seem fatal. She should be okay. As for this," He gestured to the water, "I'm not sure we can do much, but we'll do all we can. You two had best go back to town and get some rest."

As if to answer Gwyneth's question, a flat creature, like a shadow, passed under their feet. It quickly climbed the hill and dissapeared over the top.

As Flora backed against the tree, the worm creature dissapeard underground again. From the opposite side of teh clearing, Flora could see a boy emerge from the trees ((It's Nagi, so a description is not needed)). When he got to the hole created by the worm, he stopped.
"Ah, the famous Miss Flockheart. At last." He said, taking a slight bow. "What do you think of the Orphan? Frightening, isn't it?"

After Gretchen had arrived, Gracie and Liz had been dissmissed to enjoy the day at their leisure. Seeing as how it was noonish when they were let go, they had quite a bit of time to waste.

On the way back to town Sara wonders if Gwenith will be ok like the Priest said.

Gwyneth hid behind Joyse, clutching her book tightly to her chest for protection. "Is that another of those monsters? They scare me..."
Joyse manifested her blades. "Don't worry, Gwyneth...I'll keep us safe."

Not even realizing it, Anguline held her whip ready to attack. She was very worried about her party now that they were as nervous as she. "It is our duty to see what thing is..." she stoped herself when her voice spoke in a tone that suprised even her. It rang of a leadership that she new nothing of. As the sound cleared, she waited to see what would happen.

Gracie's face turned red and she moved her arms as if to try and hide the torn and tattered clothing she wore. She slowly shook her head.

((Sorry for teh delay, I was trying to wait for Chesca to post, but that's not gunna happen anytime soon, sooo....))

Gwyneth, Joyse and Anguline could see a dark figure suddenly rise up from the top of the hill. It formed what looked to be a giant bear with dark green fur and very long claws.

Anguline was shocked to see the figure before them. She sisn't want to act without the suppourt of the company so she looked over at Joyse and Gwyneth and tried in a failed attempt to speak. Her throat closed and she felt herself at a lose of footing when she realized that she was offbalance. Falling to her knees she seeked notice from her companions. Hoping that they would act soon so that she may draw some strength from them in hopes to defeat this thing that has caused her nothing but trouble... an Orphan...

Gwyneth hid behind her book, and Joyse, and whispered the name of her Child. She hoped that the owl would come like it had last time and make everything better.
Joyse grinned, brandishing her knives. "I've fought bears before...this shouldn't be too different than what I'm used to."

Behind Gwyneth, the air began to whistle as a small whirlwind was kicked up. As if from nowhere, brown feathes began spinning around with the wind. More and more appeared until they masked the center. Finally, the wind died down and teh feathers floated to the ground, revealing Gwyneth's Child, Gakuro.
The Orphan at the top of the hill stirred at the hill, but did not move. it simply stared down at the three girls and waited.

Seeing Gwyneth's Child called forth, Anguline called on hers in reflex to the action. She never had seen a creature in her life. Fixing her glasses to the abrupt wind she wanted nothing other than to go and see her father once again. She stood clenching her whip... hopng that her new way of life would would guide her to have a normal life in this chaos that has only wreaked havoc on her as time passed.
"Let's get this thing and go home." anounced Anguline after a short time.
