 Max looked up at Aislin through the blades. All I can think of is to attack the cocoon.... he told her worriedly. He honestly didn't know what else to say. He had never been very good at strategy. This Kain person seemed to have the cocoon thoroughly covered, and they had no idea what Divine would be like when he emerged. Maybe they should save their power for him? Kain seemed as if he was going to stay on the defensive.

 The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira listened to the others before hearing Michi and looking at her weapon "Atticus has been kind of quiet too." she said. Since she was still trying to remember who she was, a lot of her abilities had yet to be activated since she was not aware of them now. She eventually managed to activate her Soul perception after concentrating for a while and looked at Kain and Divine's souls. She made a face at the last knight's soul for a moment before shaking it off and looking at Divine "I guess that is our only option." She said before looking at the others "Be ready then... his wavelength is really intense." she said. Charlotte was silent for a bit longer before her eyes snapped open "Alright then, let's get this over with." she said as she stood up, a powerful energy surging around her as she prepared for battle "If you brats fail me you can forget about your 'mercenary' pay." she said as she cracked her knuckles. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

 As the others got to together to think of whether or not it would be better to let Divine release himself or stop him before hatching. While they would seem to discuss this matter, Kain exhaled and decided to land on the ground, at that time, he would kneel in front of the cocoon, just as it began cracking and falling apart. Through the various cracks along the surface, demonic energy would pour out of them. The demonic energy engulfed the area around the cocoon and Kain in some kind of miasma. The smell of the miasma was sickening, kind of like an mixture of death and disease. The poisonous miasma would touch the ground and almost instantly begin to melt and corrode it, the very air will become putrid and almost unbearable.
Within the miasma, the cocoon which held Divine, pulsed quickly, expanding and contracting very rapidly. As a result of this strange action, Divine's own soul wavelength and energy would mimic it. In one instance, it would be so weak and pitiful, that even the weakest of demons would be able to trump it, but at other times it would become so strong that it would overpower that of all of the ones gathered there. Suddenly, the cocoon stopped expanding and contracting, and remain stagnant the only thing that could be heard was a slight humming sound coming from. The sound would be heard by all of those there, but even that would stop and replaced with an eerie silence, save for the feint sound of thunder and lightning in the background.
Suddenly, the ground around all of them began to shake rapidly and at the same time the cocoon would slowly start breaking apart. As one part of the cocoon fell off, there would be a sudden burst of demonic energy, that shot straight into the air. From within the black energy mass, the cocoon completely shattered, resulting in an even stronger pillar of energy being shot up into the sky. The pillar of energy would then explode high in the air, creating a pulse of madness and darkness that spread through out the entire field. Once the pulse stopped and the pillar of energy resided, two figures would be seen from within the miasma, that was now beginning to clear.
One of the figures, appeared to have been kneeling on the ground, of course that one was Kain. He had not moved an inch since landing there. As proof of that, his white armor was covered in scorch marks as well as poisonous mist, from the energy pillar and the miasma, respectively. Appearing in front of Kain, was a man, with what appeared to be two large demonic wings as well as horns sticking out of his body. The tall figure was covered in some sort of black cloth and its arms and lowered body, adorned in black, metallic, armor. Once all of the miasma vanished, the monster's body became completely visible and was way more demonic looking then one would have originally thought. With a smile plastered on it's face, the creature looked down at Kain, "You've done well. But I would not have expected nothing less from my right-hand man and oldest friend." he spoke in a deep, demonic voice. Looking up at the creature, Kain would nod and then stand up, "It has been quite a while, since I've seen you in this form, Lord Divine." he replied. This creature was none other than Divine, perhaps this was his true form.
With Divine prepared to kill, Atticus, who had been quiet through out the whole ordeal, would finally speak to Shira, "W-We can't beat him." he told her as he was probably the only one there that has actually seen and fought Divine in his true form, aside from Mirai, who was not present. "Shira, you need to get away from here. You aren't ready to face something like this, I don't even think that I am ready. This a battle between two beings who are thought to have been some of the strongest warriors in history." Atticus said as he was clearly shaken up by the power being emitted from Charlotte and Divine, "We are nowhere near their level of strength."
"Well, consider this a treat, Kain. I wish to fight Charlotte with all my might, this time. I will not hold anything back." Divine said to Kain as he finally looked around to see how things are and just as expected the so-called 'mercenaries' were all alive and so was Charlotte, the only things that were different was the pile of empty armor that was once Goliath and the motionless Ken. "I see, so you took them back, did you?" he asked Kain, "Oh well, they were nothing but toys anyway. Besides..." looking over at Charlotte, Divine's gaze turned serious, "I want to play a game with her." he said as he formed a massive scythe/lance looking weapon in his hands, "Sorry for the wait, Lady Charlotte, but lets commence with the game now." As Divine prepared to face Charlotte, Kain would nod and then step away from him, walking towards the others, "I shall take care of the rest, my Lord."

 CharlotteThe Nightmare Witch-in her prime- While many others would be cowering in fear of Divine, Charlotte stood there quietly as she watched him emerge from the cocoon. Once it was time to face him, she began shivering, not from fear though."I have been looking forward to this." she said as a demonic smirk appeared on her face. The whole area began to darken as shadows below her feet began to grow out. She extended her hand to the side and a staff appeared in it. "All of you get over to another part of this city before you begin fighting at least. Things could get pretty bad over here." She told the kids as well as Kain even. She began walking so she stood in front of Divine then, he was obviously towering over her in size right now and in energy. Even so, Charlotte seemed to have a pretty determined and excited expression on her face that was mixed with a sort of demonic look. The remainder of the barrier around the city was suddenly died black and the ground and ruins began to glow a mix of purple and red. If they were going to be fighting, they were playing by Charlotte's rules in her territory.

She heard Atticus then and immediately responded "Backing down doesn't sound right though." she said as she heard Charlotte's orders and glanced at the others and then Kain before listening to the witch and walking off. That seemed like a smart idea due to how strong all the two of them were. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

With Charlotte standing right in front of him and seeing the determined and courageous look in her eyes, Divine could not help but smile out of excitement, "The last time we fought, you and I both held back, but now it is different. This will probably be the last battle one of us will ever have, so let us try and make it at least entertaining for one another." Divine said as he looked around at the barrier as it turned colors. Glancing back at Charlotte, Divine would address, Kain. "Kain, please distance yourself from this battlefield, even I can not guarantee your safety from this moment on." Divine told his knight as he would then lift up his lance and pound the end of it on the ground, created a powerful shock-wave and earthquake.
Listening to Divine's words, Kain nodded and bowed towards him, "As you wish, my Lord, please do be careful." Kain stated as he then saw what Divine was doing and knew what would happen if he were to be struck by the shock-wave. Spotting an vacant area towards the other side of the battlefield, it would be sufficient enough to deal with the others. Looking at Shira as she began walking off, Kain vanished and appeared before her, pointing towards the area and then making a quick sprint towards it. That would undoubtedly be their battlefield. As he did, Atticus poke to Shira once more, "I am not the type to fight a pointless and useless battle. I know my limits, I suggest that you know yours as well." he said as he then sighed, ]"But I'm pretty sure that we are strong enough to take down that Kain guy. So lets end this quickly and hopefully Charlotte will be able to take Divine down." Atticus told her.
As the others began to leave the area, the shock-wave that Divine had created earlier would finally show it's power. As it passed over the ground, rocks, crystals, lava and all of the other material's that were under the ground would shoot up all around Divine and Charlotte, the lava flowed towards him and her, but being a demon with such incredible power, the lava would not touch Divine, instead it would flow around him. This entire scene looked like something taken out of a nightmare, it was as if the two were literally in hell. It seems like that shock-wave was a way to clear the area of the others and Kain, making it so that he an Charlotte would be the only two there. Focusing on Charlotte, Divine bowed, "As always, the lady may go first." he told her.

CharlotteThe Nightmare Witch-in her prime- Charlotte didn't seem fazed by the shock wave and lava. A platform made out of shadows and darkness appeared below her feet and she continued smirking "Alright, if you insist." she said as her staff flickered slightly. The barrier above seemed to create multiple cannons that pointed towards Divine and blasted energy beams at him from different directions.

Never again... Harold launched himself backwards as the shockwave caused lava to explode from the ground and whirl around the newly hatched Divine monster. He growled and clutched Dara tighter, ready to fight. But it seemed the one he would be fighting was Kain and not Divine. That was fine, if they needed to deal with Kain first they would. The knight was pissing him off anyway. He looked where the knight pointed and followed him there, waiting for the others to arrive. This knight was somehow the strongest of them, but he was also the last. "I hope you know this is the end of the line for you," he told Kain once they had reached the new battlefield, pointing Dara at him. Will I be bound in chains...

Watching Charlotte as she would summon forth a platform under her feet, just as the barrier above them, created multiple cannons, all of which were aimed at him. The cannons then unleashed powerful beams of energy towards him. Not moving an inch from his current position, Divine lifted up his lance and slammed it on the ground like before, but this time he would create multiple tendrils from behind him. The tendrils looked as though they were made up of pure energy. Thrusting his lance into the air, the tendrils would react to the movement and quickly stretch out to protect Divine from the blasts, but getting in their way and then detonating, setting the sky above him and Charlotte, ablaze with fire and smoke. Looking back at Charlotte, Divine smiled, "Is that truly the best you have to offer?" he asked her as he took his lance and lunged it's sharp in at Charlotte's head, but then he would vanish, leaving a perfectly made after-image in his place. With the after-image still there, the real Divine appeared behind Charlotte and thrust his lance at her again, this time aiming for her torso.
As he arrived at the site of the battlefield, Kain would listen to what Harold had to say. Ever since Divine emerged, Kain had been more talkative and now he had the chance to finally cut loose and reveal who he really was. Looking at Harold, Kain held up his fist at him and nodded, "I look forwards to an intense battle. Judging by your actions in your fight against Goliath, you are indeed talented but sadly, Goliath was no where near me in power." Kain told him, just as Emma spoke up and increased her power. "Good, you seem to be prepared as well. I can not wait to test your merit." he said as he held out his arms and bowed, just as the explosions that Divine caused in the sky would be seen and heard, "Allow me to correctly introduce myself. I am Kain, the one and only knight of Divine as well as his closest friend, it is a pleasure to meet you all." After he finished introducing himself, Kain stood back up and readied himself, "Lets begin, shall we?" Listening to Kain, Atticus felt as though he had met the guy somewhere before, but he just couldn't figure out where. However, now was not the time to think about such things, he had to focus his life was of no importance, as a weapon he would sacrifice anything to protect his meister. "Shira, be on guard. I don't know what it is about this guy, but we should not underestimate him. Be sure to make sure you and the others watch each other's back."
