He likes her, and he did notice she didn't already have an assistant. If he does shape up to her standards, then he could apply for the position. It would be kinda fun actually. xD Laxus doesn't really pay much attention to what people say, he just kinda does what he needs to.

Also Hikaro, I suggest that there be a Muffin Button in every Kumo technology. You know, a button you press to get a blueberry muffin.

About the report. As I recall, Laxus never saw the room with the sandstone table. In fact, i don't actually remember you posting at all during that part of the scene? You might have, but I don't remember. I do know for certain you didn't see two round rooms though. Reason? One of them was directly under the tower, and destroyed with it. The hole in the wall you guys jumped into was the connecting tunnel between those two rooms.

I also noticed you didn't mention David didn't let you leave the room. Interesting that, wonder how the Raikage will like the not-quite-lie.

Pre-emptive response to: "Senses metal", and "Shikaku metagamed": Dropping all of your metal before climbing a wall you want to scale silently is practically common sense. It could make all sorts of noise, especially the gauntlet. And the metal being dropped would seem from your end, not like stuff being dropped to subtly climb a wall, but someone sitting down just like you had to take a break, or even someone just dropping some equipment for a bit to go do something they didn't need it for.

I take it you didn't fully re-read/remember the scene... Kensei ordered you to leave, but your attitude as you left pissed David off more, so he slammed the door shut and proceeded with his little lecture. Then they all went for a hop into the abyss.

I actually find it amusing how vague Laxus is being in how any why David reacted to him, and what all went down there. It seems to fit his current worldview, so I wouldn't edit it too much.

@Timmy: It's actually rather obvious. He's not exactly a subtle person. Hopefully someone beats the "Wrong is necessary" mindset out of him before it gets him killed. XD

I'm actually rather enjoying having Shikaku pick on him. It's much less strenuous than interacting with your characters with my others, who would be more likely to lecture them or end up in conflict over something. Probably going to have him run off to do his own thing in a couple more posts though, so I can get some stuff done that I started when I made him, and you can finish up what you were doing. It's almost 100% unlikely though that he'll ever agree to do missions with Laxus though, since he's not exactly impressed with Laxus' lack of subtlety. If a superior orders them on a mission together he'll do it, but if it's a stealth or infiltration mission, he'll likely actively protest the team setup.



We should have Shikaku and Sora run into each other again sometime. He'll probably leech off of Sora's apparent oddity and slowly turn into S. XD

Couple notes for if Laxus tracks down Sora for the report too. Since she explored the hole, she'll have seen a couple things you may have missed, that I left there during David's last training session. One, an apple sitting on the "Table". It was fake, but since she never touched it, well, she wouldn't know that. And a few sand shuriken stuck into one wall. There may have been some bone shards too, from when Karonashi was there, but I think I got rid of those.
