I'd join up with a band of others and go around eliminating enemies to keep villages safe.. (hey, Cloud and his gang, can't be the ONLY fighters... right..? *although yes, they'd be the best... blaugh *)

I'd try to stop Sepheroth from killing Aerith, and probly get killed in the prosses xp

I Would BE in the Turks, Parters with Rude and Reno.. No romanticism going on. They'd be my best friends and we would hang out together and get drunk together and pass out whilst making prank phone calls to Rufus. I'd be one of the guys.. none of this girly girl crap.

Then the story would just unfold as usual.. Expect there would be me as well.. BUT (if this applies to AC as well..) instead of reno sacrificing himself.. it would be I..

I would just walk around with a big sword, and chop up any monsters that are in my path.

I'd remove the switch that made the sector seven plate fall, and when they didn't go up there to save it, and get Aeris kidnapped, I'd got to Cosmo Canyon, and since Cloud didn't go there, I'd use a Soft on Red XIII's dad, but then I'd go crazy and asplode due to excessive plotline bashing.

I'd probably be Reno's stalker.

You know that guy who kidnapped Tifa in Midgar, and then kidnapped Elena and Yuffie in Wutai? The one who had the really annoying dance? Yeah, I'd dropkick him in the nuts on the mountain when he held Yuffie and Elena hostage and then taunt him. Then after that I'd steal Cloud's sword once he bought a new one, AND at costa del sol I'd bitchslap hojo a couple of times on the beach and yell "THAT'S FOR STARTING ALL THIS CRAP!"
