RevlinHeartsblood hey shinobi, would you mind sharing which book abd page # it states that you gotta stay 12" away from enemy units? aaand, incase i cant figure this out myself, does that apply to even 12" and under movement as well? unless assaulting or something? Just check the rulebook on the scout rule as well as turbo boost and it's all clear. http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=13830233If you don't belive me check the official FAQ

Van Evok well, I remebered having to move over 18" to get cover save for turbo-boost... That 12" from enemy is strange... no it makes prefect sense since the move is taken before the start of the game its basically still part of their deployment. And in deployment you can place within 12 inchs

That said, I may have to attempt this bastardly combo in a game in the near future. I'm a Bike lover and that's really the biggest draw for me in the current Marine Codex: A bike character and the ability to take Bikes as troops.

Confirms the rules on the rule book regarding about Scouts and TB rule!
Damn, now I really want GW to update the DA codex. D: What´s fun about using the scout rule if you can´t use it effectively like scout bikers do. D:<
I mean, I have to place my luck on either getting the first turn or hoping my oppoments shooting luck runs out.

Since Scout squads (any other unit?) has that rule along the infiltration rule, it´s to make sure that not a single unit can get any closer to enemies deployment zone/enemy unit.

So for another 201 dollar I effectively doubled my space wolves force. And I added a Land Raider Crusader, Leman Russ Exterminator, 2 Land Speeders, Venerable Dreadnought, and another Dreadnought

Just the look of pelts over armor looks pretty slick in my opinion.

Some Space Wolves use their head tassels, which you could get from Chaos Space Marine sprues. The only models of theirs that I've seen that you'd need to actually buy the models for are the Wulfen, Wolf Guard (marines and Termies), and if you want any models with the pelts or wolf tails. I suggest that you use a battleforce and augment it with some individual models.

I suggest that you use a battleforce and augment it with some individual models. I first bought the Black Reach set then 1 Box of Grey Hunters and 1 Blood Claws. Then on another website I found a guy selling 40 Space Wolves and those vehicles I mentioned. So that will bring my force up to 70 Marines 6 Scouts 7 Terminators 1 Wolf Lord, some Fenrisian Wolves, 2 Dreds, 1 Ven Dred, 1 Land Raider Crusader, 1 Leman Russ Exterminator, and 2 Land Speeders. Not a bad force considering I only decided to start playing marines in general about 2 weeks ago

alright, sounds easy enough
so... i know rules wise, color means d**k, and only hard core players would make a big deal about this
should i bother painting up my white marines grey? or just stick to the color scheme i have now, play them as SW and tell any fanatics to suck it?
