I seem to recall telling Icy I was in for this a while ago, and that I'd look up the thread in the guild. Evidently I never did-- or I did it anciently ago and completely forgot.
In any case-- end of July? Anetra can take her vacation whenever and, if persons are interested in her coming, would be happy to. I just don't drop by DYBIM all that often and don't want to go on out to be greeted by uncomfortable silence :P
I like you all well enough, but am mildly self conceous so would just like to confirm that I'm not, like, "that weird person Grayed talks to in all caps sometimes that I so hope doesn't come becuase I just don't know what I'd even say to her, eck" hahah.

I'm trying my best. sweatdrop I need to first figure out the rough cost. Then figure out if the Japanese Trip will require us to come back to campus afterwards. Then figure out if I'd be able to just stop in CA instead of fly all the way to VA after the spring trip. THEN I need to pitch a sale's plan to Papa to see if he buys it. xp And if he doesn't, well, I best have a car and my parents' blessing for a long road trip. sweatdrop

Alrighty, Time for me to make a much needed update...
Over this weekend I'll be retabulating here, and discussing with my contact at Asilomar to get the rpicing and room number set a little more firmly.
The timing is the best I can do...
If this one doesn't work out, I am sorry, however, tis a sign that any who couldn't attend should organize one for next year or the like, to facilitate a more varied scene. wink

Sorry folks. My crew is out.
Quiet will be in classes and the company my hubby and I work for doesn't let us take our vacation at the end of the month.
More complication, it is the weekend after an event we are already invested in attending.
If something amazing happens to let us be there, we will. But I'm not banking on it.

I've hit a snag...
CA Parks Department seems to be occupying the grounds that day, and they (due to ownership and tax issues) can bump non-paid reservations.
I'm working arround this, but it could be difficult.
The number of rooms I can reserve may be quite limited. confused

Well, they are pretty nice, usually 2 bedrooms with a central room and wash room...
One bedroom often has 2 beds, and the common room has a sofa, usually...

You know...I might just be able to come to this. My dad being in the airforce I get free military hops...and they go to cally all the time 3nodding .
I will confirm tomorrow or this weekend sometime...right now...I am pending with a very good chance of yes.
