With his attention focused on the others and with Shira taking full advantage of the fact by releasing a pulse of wavelength Divine's cocoon. Walking in front of the cocoon, Kain, held up his hand at her and seemingly negated the wavelength, his eyes hidden by the helmet, Kain had withstood Shira weak attack without even facing her. Just then, Harold would appear before him and attempt to slice him in two, at the same time, Michi and her partner would try the same thing. Holding out the same hand at Harold and Dara and his other hand at Michi, Kain unleashed a powerful magnetic pulse. The pulse would be strong enough to not only stop them from landing their attacks, but if they remained there longer they would be knocked back with tremendous force. After releasing his pulse, Kain vanished and appeared in the air above all of them. Holding up three fingers, three more minutes and Divine would emerge from the cocoon.

 The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira grimaced as she was knocked back from Kain's attack. Wiping some blood from her mouth she glanced at Charlotte, it looked like she didn't get hit with the attack thankfully. She frowned at the three minute warning then "Fight me and let the others have a chance to stop this!" she pleaded then. She wasn't sure if she would do that well against Kain but at least she would most likely fight him off long enough to let the others have a chance to stop Divine from emerging from the cocoon. Shira swung her sword at him, unleashing some energy that was stored up when she was guarding with her weapon earlier. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

Never again... Harold held up his hands to the attack, pushing against it as it pushed against him, digging his claws into the ground. He was shoved backwards by the attack, claws spraying dirt and rocks in every direction as he slid back. His hands were smoking when the attack finally ran out of power and he had been pushed back almost a hundred feet. He looked up to see Kain hovering in the air, holding up three fingers to show them the amount of time that was left. Apparently they were almost out. "Well then..." Harold muttered to himself as he looked back down at the cocoon. He took a deep breath and spat a gigantic fireball straight towards the cocoon, seeing what kind of effect a direct hit would have against it. Will I be bound in chains...

Apparently she could take hits. She looked at Harild as he attacked the cocoon and then smirked "Alright!" her arm became engulfed in flames and too the form of a large cat claw. She swung it at the cocoon and a large blast of energy came towards Divine. ☾

The blue gems on Michi's hands glowed and the glowing yellow eyes appearing in the eyeless socket forming a image of the lower jaw keeping it open. Michi then lets out a unbearable loud screaming wave that didn't affect the others nor the witch but lock on the cocoon preventing it from opening completely allowing them to hit. ┣▇▇▇═─════════════════════─═▇▇▇┫ "Does a future exist in wasted time?  Still in the air, Kain listened to Shira as she pleaded with him to fight her and only her, so that the others would have a chance to stop Divine. Not saying a word, Kain appeared to have shrugged her plea away, he might not have held his comrades to high standards, but he was truly loyal to Divine and would rather die than fail his master. As he was about to land, Kain would stop as he sensed a strong energy coming at him. Summoning a sword in front of him, Kain blocked the energy slash and deflected it towards the ground. Looking back at Shira he would become interested in her skills, that energy just now was near his level of power, but the girl did not seem to possess the skills and energy to release such a force. While Kain focused his attention back on Shira, he would seemingly be unaware of the others that had just unleash three powerful attacks at Divine's cocoon. As Harold's massive fireball, Emma's energy blast and Michi's wave came spiraling towards the cocoon, the energy blast the Shira unleashed earlier at Kain, who had redirected it towards the ground, would appear in front of the attacks, colliding with them. With the attacks collision, came a gigantic explosion of smoke, dirt and flames, but the explosion wouldn't last long as the energy and heat given off by it, would swirl around and be absorbed into the cocoon, making it grow in size. Seeing the explosion, Kain would unleash thousands of swords all around him and then send them flying at them all, it was clear that he was only buying time for Divine to emerge.

The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Shira quickly managed to block more of the swords like before as well as protecting Charlotte from them. After she managed to escape a good amount of the attack, only having a few cuts now, she looked at the cocoon "What do we do then?..." she muttered with a worried look. Charlotte kept her eyes shut as she continued storing energy, she felt Divine was close to awakening but didn't seem to look worried even though this was probably going to be a huge pest to defeat. Back at where Shira was, she winced a bit at one of the deep cuts on her side now, looking down at it for a moment. She felt it as well as her other injuries from her last attack begin healing before looking towards Kain. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

"So... got any other ideas or should we just wait to jump right into the fire with this one?" she asked as she looked at the others. Before using her reflexes to dodge some of the swords, only getting grazed a few times. ☾

Never again... Harold watched their attacks be absorbed and destroyed with frustration. So far nothing they had done seemed to be working in the slightest. Any ideas? Harold asked Eric mentally. Not at the moment. I think we'll just have to wait until Divine hatches and deal with him then. Kain seems practically untouchable. Harold was about to reply when thousands of swords appeared around them, flying towards them all. Harold moved quickly, though not as expected. Instead of dodging them himself he slid sideways, standing in front of Emma and releasing a blast of wavelength forwards. Many of the swords were obliterated by the blast, but some of them made it through, pin-cushioning Harold as they stabbed into him. Harold wasted no time grabbing them and pulling them out one-by-one, tossing them away. Though he was bleeding from multiple wounds now he didn't seem to pay them any mind. Eric frowned mentally. What was that about? He asked Harold mentally. What was what about? ....nevermind. Harold looked back at Emma, seeing that she was okay before looking back towards the cocoon, not sure how to respond to her question. It seemed that for the time being they didn't have much of a choice but to wait. Kain seemed like he could negate any attack they threw at him or the cocoon. Will I be bound in chains...

Dara laughed at Harold subconsciously protecting Emma before noticing that he wasn't attacking anymore. "Harold? Why'd you stop attacking the cocoon?"

Never again... Harold looked down at Dara. "What's so funny?" He asked her, wondering what she was laughing about. When she asked him her question he shook his head. "We can't get an attack in right now," he told her. "Eric recommends we wait until it hatches before we do anything. With any luck Divine will kill Kain or something. That would be funny." Will I be bound in chains...
