Missing yet again, this time ...the pokemon would simply lay down. Eyes watching as Poochyena decided that for the moment that was enough for attack as he looked what could only be called a weak attack and would literally roll over simply to avoid it.
Keeping it simple, that was what the Poochyena wanted. Keep it simple and look for openings to attack.

With the rodent fallen Raven would once more recall Requiem, decapitate the Rattata, and continue forward. That was 9 down, and 1 to go.

A flick of tail and a loud squeek would have the final Rattata appear in front of him. Though this pokemon was a female as she looked at him and without fear stood before him.
Everyone else was dead, the family of Rattata that had move here ....the timid one, the fearsome ones ...she was last, and she knew her fate. She didn't have any fear of it. She had tried to rally them after the first death, told them to come together to fight back or else they would all be killed. But they didn't listen, there was nothing more that she could do about it ....as her tail would flick in the air and she would walk towards him with a tap tap sound of her paws.
She would fall, but she was going to take as many of this guy's pokemon with her ....as she glares at him. Her eyes trying to burrow holes in him ...as she stood her ground.

Raven would stride forward with both grace and determination toward this, the final battle. Though it was not intentional, the boy's smooth deliberate steps, matched with his chiselled features and stoic gaze gave him much the same look as a prince striding down the hall. The end of his sword tapped and scratched against the metal of the walls, causing the occasional spark. If he was indeed a prince, then it was one of death, of execution.
This rodent would be his final opponent, and so he had no intention of holding anything back. Something which would soon become quite clear as his right hand came to rest on the first ball upon his belt.
Truthfully holding nothing back would be more likely to include his steely behemoth...however he didn't feel like crushing himself along with the Rattata.
"Go Fable, and let nothing but ash remain" Raven ordered, his voice calm and face serene despite the dark nature of the command.
A small burst of red as the ball was lobbed forward, and once more the walls would dance with the light of Fable's flame. Scarred heavily by previous battles and scorched by efforts of his own flames, the Charmander presented quite the intimidating sight to some; and now here he stood before the Rattata, prepared to finish this quickly in his master's name.
Starter Pokemon: Charmander [M] Name & Level: Fable, Lv 6 [Temperament] Quiet Bio: Raven first met Fable during his time living on the streets, finding the fire-tailed reptile in one of hundreds of alleys he'd been in. Battered, beaten, and bloodied, it was clear the Charmander had seen it's fair share of battles...and lost every single one. He bit Raven only five seconds after their initial encounter. Fable had lost all trust in humanity. Raven was never fully aware of the details, but the Charmander's former trainer had been abusive. He'd placed him in battles with impossible odds, expecting him to combat and defeat opponent after opponent with little to no rest...and when he lost, it was his trainer whom would personally add to the reptiles injuries. Finally tired of wasting his time on "some worthless newt" his trainer had abandoned him in the dirtiest alleyway he could find and just left him there. The boy hadn't even given him a name...at least not one he cared to repeat.
For days after that first encounter Raven returned to the alley, usually meeting with the same result; yet still he kept coming, sometimes he even brought food. It was generally scraps most likely out of the garbage, but it was food none the less. One day the Charmander finally asked why the child kept returning...not with words of course, but with his eyes. The curiosity at the boy's actions were clear in the reptiles gaze. Raven had said he saw a fire in Fables eyes that day when they first met, the desire to become truly powerful. More time passed after that, but the only thing which mattered after that point was the outcome. Even without a Pokeball the Charmander decided to follow the boy from that day forward, even earning the name Fable in the process. Raven would speak of spending the reward money on new clothes and a bath, but what was consistently leave out was the purchase of a single Pokeball. There was no need. Even without it, Fable would follow his trainer to the depths of hell and back. She would glare at him then ...as she went down on the defensive. This was a fight for her life and she already knew she would lose, but she was going to make sure to do as much damage as possible before she went down. Her eyes narrowed as her tail swipes the air and she would look at the Charmander and scoff lightly.
(It's it great .....he is a murder and he makes sure we fight ...pokemon vs. pokemon, and allow you to do the dirty work for him.)
(Typical humans)
She would spit out the words as she waited for his attack.

Fable began to growl the very moment the rodent ceased her words, his tail lashing violently from side to side as the blaze at the tip of his tail flicked and grew. Blue eyes had already grown clouded and red, but not yet had the Charmander lost himself to the rage; and for one reason alone.
">Shut up<" Fable snarled, the words oddly cold coming from a Fire-Type. With each renewed sweep of his tail the Charmander's tail flame would grow more significantly, burning brightly as the reptiles eyes narrowed upon the Rattata. Exhaling smoke through flares nostrils, Fable took a heavy step forward ">Say what you want about me...<" He began in a menacing growl, taking another step toward his opponent in the process ">...BUT DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK ILL OF HIM!<" The growl suddenly turned to a roar, and there came the all consuming rage in Fable's eyes; his tail flame growing near the size of his whole body.
Eyes muddied by the rush of blood, the Charmander would sweep his right arm through the fire burning at his backside. A Fire Punch would end this all. He didn't care what the original reason for this confrontation was, for the rodent's words she'd burn in agony, till her bones turned black!

(9 - 4 + 14 - 7 = 12dmg)
The pain would spark through her as she felt her fur burn and her body blister, but she didn't pass out. It was close, but she didn't as she put one paw on his burning fist ...the same one that had hit her as she looked deep into his eyes and spat in his face.
(I don't speak ill....I speak the truth, worm. Snake and worm, you two fit well together ....he is a b*****d that kills those weaker than himself ...and you are just a tool he uses)
She would hiss in his face as her power would flare. As she launches herself forward to try and spear him the face as she does an up close and personal tackle.

Fable's response would come in the form of an unintelligible snarl, his eyes turning completely red as the tips of his flame turned white. That remark had pushed him over the edge, he was more angry then ever before and she was certain to learn that rather promptly. Consumed by rage, the Charmander could hardly think now, only react.
Setting his feet into the ground, the reptile held both claws up in an attempt to catch the Rattata in the middle of her strike.

Though he would be pissed, and though he tried to defend against it ...she would slam though his defenses in that strike as she lands back on all fours. Her ears drawn back as she would land solidly and start to slowly circle her opponent as she looks at him with distaste all in her face.
(What did that tick you off? Hearing the truth, well welcome to my world ....I had to smell their blood ...I can hear their screams ...my comrades you killed. And I know I am going to join them before this day is through.
Think I am thinking happy thoughts right now)
She would scoff rudely.
(A few, but too bad ...dreams don't always come true.)
She was looking for when he would attack so that she could launch herself forward, flatten herself against the ground, or try to back pedal away depending on his actions. Either way, she refuses to stay underneath his claws as he attacks.
(+1 to attack rolls)

((You forgot to roll. Also posting this then going to work...))">Then why didn't you help them?<" The words were slightly garbled between the snarling, but the intent was clear despite his rage. She claimed to smell the blood, to hear the screams...and yet she simply stood by.
Passing his arm through his tail, the Charmander would swing his arm in hopes of ending this now with one more Fire Punch.

(Ah, two rolls then 1 for the post I missed and the second for this one)
She would laugh a ....broken sort of a laugh as she easily evaded the attack. Her tail flicking though the air as she spoke and tried not to sob at the same time.
(Oh how I tried, but they had come up with their own survival plan ....scatter and run. When I said stand and face together, drive you and your murdering trainer away ...they said they would fled.
That if they left, then they left ...they could escape. But, how foolish they are ....I chase them ...I tried to catch up.
But, Rattata aren't the easiest to catch when they run, and I always arrived too late. After your trainer had sever their heads ...seems to be his favor way of killing them and simply leave the remains behind.
Testament of the fact, that he didn't even think they had enough of a soul to bury.)
She was shivering in her rage then as she spoke ....as she felt those words sink into her soul before she would come at him again with another tackle.
(This is why I don't care if I die any longer ...as long as I take as many of you as I can with me.)
She squeaked.

Rather then charge in with flame and fury, Fable would stand his ground, flame flickering brightly at his back. The message stood clear, or at least it did to the reptile. She could batter him, she could bloody him, but she would not beat him. Not a single Pokemon would fall before her this day.((The dice just do not like me today...))

(11 (+1att roll) - 2 + 7 - 12 = 5dmg (The dice can be quite evil sometimes)
The Rattata would hit again ....as she would push him further back even though his defensive as she lands back on four again. She had heard no response from him that time, he hadn't charge her but had simply taken her attack.
Had her words finally gotten through to him? Had she finally made him understand ...the error of his ways, the pain that he had caused, the pain that he continued to cause. If she could do that ...her death wouldn't be so bad, but then she shook her head and that thought away ...this is a monster in front of her ...nothing more and nothing less as she looked to dart around his next attack and she would turn upon that flame limb and catch him right between the eyes when that time comes. Though for now, she simply defenses
