I was VERY young...I think I got my first sonic game when I first got a gamecube which was ancient for me. I'm fairly young so when I think back to gamecube days...it's mostly a blur. Mario sunshine...Luigi's mansion...and of course Sonic Adventure 2. I think my uncle bought me and his son games, I got the second and my cousin got the first. Jokes on him because the second one was freakin awesome! ^^ I also remember feeling stressed because I couldn't beat the space level with Sonic. (Either it was blinding rage or the most depressed a child could possibly get) I remember I never finished the game entirely, to this day. I know now about the secret level with super sonic. Sonic Heroes...now that has got to be my most favorite. -Sheds tears- It's just... cry I mean...it'll always have a special place in my heart.

For me it was the first Sonic Adventure. It came out just as I was blossoming as a gamer, 'cause I'm a bit older. lol
Anyway, the free roam gave my roaming mind something to waste hours on, and the story was (all over the place for some) perfect for me.
Then there's the E-100 series. *sigh*
It's no secret I love 'em, but holy balls they're my favorite. When Gamma dies... Damnit. crying
And the soundtrack was something a 90s kid like me could really grab on to.

The second one was good too, but I missed the free roam and there didn't seem to be as big a focus on the mechanics of the characters anymore.
It was all story, story, story, which was fine but I could watch a movie for that. Idk, I just think they hit their pinnacle with character playability in the first Adventure. Then again, maybe I'm just being hypercritical. :3

Yeah...I had absolutely no idea , not a single clue that you liked the robots. xD His story was pretty cool for me but I didn't really realize he died until you started bringing up sonic. I thought that Omega was him for some reason...I dunno...that idea just completely went over me.

Rugrats was all the 90s I need. I loved that show. I even had a birthday and Chukie was there, I think my mom or uncle was in the suit. Still it was awesome...plus I had tons of candy. And I got a lot of presents...although as a kid my family tried persuading me with the gifts. Two paths...video games and sports...

I just thought the way Sonic went from zero to top speed in two seconds was annoying. It totally caps you out too soon. I miss the Sonic that plays like you can keep making him run faster and faster.

I like wind waker, skyward sword, majora's mask(although I never beat it, plus it's so creepy it's awesome) and I think I'm willing to try out the new angle of the series with the next game. I like the adventure feel but it's been awhile since I played a good button smasher. OH! And super smash bros, most of the series. I never played the first one but after the second I enjoy them all, I'm also confident I'll enjoy the next...even if they did add in pac man...

The only thing you're missing from the original was Captain Falcon actually being good. Ha, maybe that's an understatement. Him and Ness were so OP they're still nerfing 'em down in each new game.
I think Shadow would be a pretty awesome character. If Meta-Knight can be in there, then Shadow needs a spot too.
Also, they need to fix Gannondorf. He can hardly move in Brawl. He's like a Captain Falcon statue... lol
