Standing before the polished academy doors all Ryuuku could think was that his life as a ninja began here. No matter what path as a ninja he would take it all began here at the Ninja Academy. After he completed the Academy he could do whatever he pleased he could liberate his enslaved village, he could attempt to join the infamous organization Angra Mainyu and rule the world along side those who had enslaved his village, or he could strive to move up in his village ranks and become Kage. All of these options for him could only possible if he completed the Academy. So with that in mind Ryuuku continued on through the doors and into the Academy dojo to master his jutsu. When he walked in he found an empty room with white walls a few beat up dummies and a scroll nailed onto the wall in front of him. Ryuuku proceeded towards it looking over it's withered text. He saw the instructions on how to perform the simplest of the simple jutsu. He found: Henge no jutsu, Bushin no jutsu, Art of substitution, Tree climbing, as well Water walking. He first started with Henge no Jutsu. Due to the fact that he was a Kaguya it wouldn't take more than a couple tries to master the jutsu in which case he began mastering Henge no Jutsu by thinking of what he would transform into, throwing out a few hand signs, and calmly saying "Henge No Jutsu!". After that he transformed into what he had in mind for his transformation. He changed into a canine otherwise known as a dog. White fur, well groomed of course, a short wagging tail, a slight grin, and beady black eyes. After a few moments in the transformation Ryuuku deactivated the jutsu, and he returned to his former state. Ryuuku couldn't help but chuckle at how easy it was for him to learn the jutsu.

Damian
Well now, finally a new person who can actually string together a comprehensive post. I'm impressed. Just a bit more structural balance and you'll be up there with the big boys.

"Rakurai Raiga... From your past experiences, to which my eyes alone can view. You have become deemed worthy of some of my power. A battle will not be necessary for your attuned strength, I grant you my power.. Use it wisely." The Orochi Master; Rao says as he seems to appear out of thin air before Rakurai Raiga. Grinning behind his mask, as a single hand suddenly shoots forwards in order to grab the male by their forehead and forcefully lift them into the air. A force injection of the orochi power into the man's system, would cause a sudden severe injection of pure power into the body, enough to send a normal shinobi unconscious for several seconds. By the time the male would awake, Rao would be gone, and the new feeling of power would be made noticeable. The Invisibility Orochi had found it's new host.

Rakurai Raiga

User ImageGlancing about, Rakurai stared off at the distant tree that he had sat against on the first day of the Academy. It seemed as if it were yesterday, though now the Mist forehead protector lay within his palm. Upon graduating, he'd merely held it there, not wanting to put it on until Old Man Raiga saw it. As the rest in his family had done, Rakurai had placed top of his class.

Smirking, he clenched the protector within his hands, "Now onward to better things..... What the....." Focusing his eyes, Rakurai blinked several times. A devilish figure had appeared directly infront of him without any sound. His body had locked up, thinking that it was death himself come to take the boy away.

Pain surged through his body as the power was instilled from the Orochi Master. The neck muscles below his head were straining from being lifted into the air by his forehead. It felt as if someone was drilling a kunai within his brain. The moment ended just as it had came, however. The boy lay on the grass behind the tree, forehead protector still grasped within his palm.

Within the boys head, Damian's soul lurched feeling the new added strength to its arsenal. Well now.... This could get interesting....

The steady rhythm of ticks and tocks danced within her ears as she continued her stride through out the door. Akane was unaware of how much time she spent wandering in the fog after crossing the doors threshold but it felt like an eternity. Steadily, the ticks and tocks began to fade only to be replaced by the soft songs of the birds flying over head. The chill she had acquired while in the rift between worlds began to melt away as the suns rays cast their glow on her, warming her flesh and making the goose bumps vanish. Once she was sure she had completely crossed over into the world of the shinobi, she stopped her stride and stood as still as stone. She was sure that she had been on the receiving end of odd glances but that didn’t matter now. Her main concern before she continued on was to familiarize herself with the scents, sounds and feel of the lands.

You really are quite pathetic. Always you do this in attempts to become familiar with things and in doing so you leave yourself open to attacks. You must really enjoy the pain and torment you often receive…so perhaps you’re not as pathetic as I first stated. No, perhaps your far more twisted that have gathered and actually are a suitable vessel to be used for my own ends.

“Still your tongue you accursed parasite.”

Akane’s voice didn’t rise in the slightest despite her growing aggravation. Having to see through this creature's eyes was one thing. However, having to listen to his taunts was simply something she never could get used to as they were not a constant thing. They only came when she was uncertain or rather vulnerable. To her misfortune however, it continued its taunt and with some deal of effort she managed to tune it out just long enough to in a sense connect with the world around her. She could feel the vibrations prodding at her feet indicating a great deal of movement caused by the bustling society of people that called this place home. She could hear the chirping of birds, the hushed voices and sometimes shouts of those who were either observing her or going on about their daily routine. She could even smell the perfumes of various flowers and cherry blossoms colliding with the various scents of foods from the market stands in a unique waltz.

Having done that brought her some sense of comfort but that comfort in no way shape or form allowed her to drop her guard. She knew full well that there was still much she didn’t know about this place and so she needed to be cautious. After taking a calming breath, she continued her stride and came to see a few others her age headed in a certain direction. Not intending to listen in on what they were saying, she managed to catch the words academy and late leave their lips. From that moment, she knew that the best course of action would be to follow that group and she made sure she didn’t doddle. When she came upon the academy grounds, she took in the details of the structure in wonderment and awe. Never had she been lucky enough to see something like this. When she took a step forward to precede all went black once again drawing a soft curse from her.

Akane knew that she should have been used to such a thing by now but still it managed to infuriate her. Either the beast allows her to see or not. She rather it be one or the other, not both because such a quick transition from sight to blindness often times through her off and she’d either stumble or all out fall. Now instead of continuing on with a confident stride, she was force to move as if she was filled with uncertainty. Eventually, after ten minutes of aimless walking and attempts to follow the directions of multiple personnel she finally managed to reach her class. The barrage of voices that greeted her ears allowed her to estimate just how many students were there. She gathered that there were about thirty of them.

The instructor noticed her entry and told her where she could go to sit, giving her precise directions of how many steps to take forward, where to turn on a certain step and when she could sit. This made things that much easier for her but still, having so many around her all at one time was a bit unsettling for her. She could just feel the eyes of many on her. She supposed it was for the fact that she was new but they honestly have to stare at her? Staring was rude after all. Again she took a calming breath and pushed passed the discomfort so that she may focus on her instructor’s words.

“Henge no Jutsu.”

She repeated the techniques name under her breath softly, getting a feel for saying it. The words itself seemed simple enough. As her instructor explained on what it would enable someone to do she couldn’t help but feel a bit discouraged. She was sure that in order to learn such a technique she would have to witness it and if she knew the demon within, it would prevent her from doing so for quite some time just to spite her. No matter. Eventually she would come to learn this technique one way or the other and if she was lucky, perhaps if she continued to listen, her instructor would provide detail instructions on how to perform such a task so that she wouldn’t have to rely on seeing it.

Now the next jutsu to master was Bushin no jutsu. Just about as easy as the last jutsu. It only requiered a slight burst of chakra and only a few hand signs. Ontop of that his Kaguya blood had learned this jutsu thousands of times before making it even easier for him to master. Realizing that he could easily be mastering all of the required Academy jutsu today. He went off to find a Chunnin that could document his progress with the jutsu's and thus promote him to Gennin early. He then started walking through the halls of the Academy. He went past classroom after classroom seeing children struggle with jutsu's he was so easily mastering, he chuckled once more. Thinking about how pathetic and unskillled those children were as compared to him. Without much thought he walked into a classroom filled with kids watching as their Chunnin lectured them, and commanded the teacher to oversee his progress so that he could be promoted early. Obviously the Chunnin in charge of the class aka the teacher was offended by the way Ryuuku commanded him as though he was weaker then him. The Chunnin then said to Ryuuku "Son I hardly believe that you could master all of these jutsu in a day it would take nearly a month to master them even a year for some children!" The Chunnin paused for a moment then continued "So please if you can so easily master these jutsu demonstrate a Bushin no Justu for the class" Ryuuku looked to the class with another one of his grins ,and executed the jutsu perfectly creating a Bushin. Of course the Bushin wasn't solid but still it was a Bushin. The Chunnin was amazed, and then realizing he had made an a** of himself he said, "Get out here and I'll check on your progress later...". Ryuuku left the class with a smile the stretched from ear to ear. He truly was gifted in the Dark Art of Ninjutsu. Now because of his gift he would be graduating early just as his dying clan expected of him. Now before the Chunnin arrived to track his progress he would have to learn more jutsu. He then arrived back in the Academy dojo ready to learn another.

As lind was walking into the academy, he was looking around to see how many people there had been to learn some jutsu to get out of this place to go home to train. It was a shame that he had to be here and not home in Hidden mist to learn the moves he needed to become one of the many great mist ninjas in his life. It was going to be a nice turn out if he could be the kage of his village. Lind let out a small sigh as his blue skin was showing off the sun light as he went walking through the open feild of the academy. It was going to be a hard time for him to get stronger as how he was just not the type of person to get things down in the time when he was nothing more then the lazy person to walk the streets and be nothing more then a pain to the people who took care of him. Looking around once more, line could not help but laugh at all the people who had the time to work on something so easy as a cheap little jutsu to get stronger when training the body to the limit is called training. "Well, seems like humans are more stupid then I thought they had to be. Could they learn how to be more of a human then to learn the way of a cheap jutsu then these to be called ninja of the world." Lind was going crazy being trapped in this place. It was starting to get to him and he was getting crazy being trapped in this place for no reason. Yes he had to be here to learn something but it was a shame to get it all set before hitting a bump in the mind of the ninja. Lind could not help but let his head be empty before making his way out of the academy as he just leanred how to do the Henge no Jutsu without even breaking a sweat.

Soon enough the Chunnin came around with Ryuuku's sound headband, and with that headband his true ninja story began. The Chunnin came up to Ryuuku quietly with a black box containing his sound headband. The Cunnin silently opened up the box before Ryuuku thus allowing him to snatch up the headband and tie it around his shoulder. After the rather quick head band ceremony was over Ryuuku went on his way to begin his life. He passed through the walls of the Academy thinking that after he passed through the Academy gates he truly entered the ninja world. This walk out of the Academy represented Ryuuku's passing from childhood into responsibility for his actions and decisions.

The plan after leaving the Academy was to train in the Kaguya jutsu, as well as prepare for the oncoming Chunnin exams. The learning of his clan jutsu was the easy part. Now the Chunnin exams would be a whole new world. He would be up against the top ninja's of his generation.

Akane wasn’t the kind of person to toot her own horn but she couldn’t help but want to after learning the Henge no Jutsu. It was, well for a lack of better words, far too easy. Having listened so carefully to the instructions, when the students had each been called down to perform this technique and her turn had come around she had successfully executed it in one try. She had taken the form of a buck. Innocent enough but still posing some form of danger with her large antlers. Of course however, since this was her first time using this technique it didn’t last long. Instead of smiling or having her chest swell with pride like some other students she could do nothing but frown. This was something that she had her mind set on improving but for now she would return to her seat for the next lesson to be learned.

That’s right child. Don’t allow yourself to get cocky like the other idiots. Find disappointment in everything you do and use it as motivation to become greater than what you are now. Let it mold you into the perfect marionette.

“I’ll not say it again parasite. Still your tongue.”

While her voice had been a hushed the growl of annoyance that reverberated in her throat was a bit louder than she had intended. Her brows couldn’t help but furrow at her lack of control of her own emotions. A session of meditation was needed but for now that would have to wait. For now, she would focus all of her energy and attention on learning all techniques this school could teach her. For a single second she shook her head to clear her thoughts and then once again focused on her instructor. The next lesson to be learned was Bushin no Jutsu. She found the technique to be not only interesting but quite useful especially for when one found themselves to be in a bind. After about five minutes of being given and explanation, the class was led out to the training field and of course she took to staying behind the group.

She did this for two reasons. One, she wanted to avoid any potential conversation that would come her way and two, she was trying to memorize the grounds so that she wouldn’t end up lost without being scrutinized. After about five minutes of walking, they finally reached the training grounds and it took another five minutes for the instructor to calm the students down which made Akane want to beat each and every one of them within an inch of their life for wasting her time. Thankfully though, she managed to keep her cool and prevent an unnecessary situation from arising. Then something pulled her from her aggravated state. Her name had been called but why? Anxiousness took hold of her senses but she didn’t want to be seen as insubordinate for not coming forth so she went.

She took her position in front of her teacher as instructed, but the moment she felt his hand place itself on her shoulder she leapt away from him, only to enter a defensive stance all the while brandishing two of her kunai. Her muscles was taught, her brows furrowed and her teeth clenched tight. A hush spread through the group of students seeing as her reaction was unexpected and seemed more than ballsy for one of her level. Didn’t she know that their teacher could dispatch her without a second thought?

“Hey, take it easy kid. I was just going to ‘show’ you how to do the necessary hand gestures for this technique.”

To be honest, he was flabbergasted but at the same time he could kind of understand why she would act like that. It was clear that she wasn’t from this area, if she was, well she wouldn’t have responded like that and he would have recognized who she was. Silence was shared between the two for what seemed like an eternity until finally Akane came to relax herself and return her kunai to their holding places. She stood straight and after placing her hand to her side, she bowed forward to the point her body resembled a ninety degree angle.

“Forgive me for my transgressions sensei.”

By the gods, you are quite hilarious you little wretch. You go and do something like that to someone who could easily kill you where you stand. Oh this is rich. You’ve got spirit child.

Her nails dug into her palm as she tightened her fists to contain the urge to simply start ripping at her own head just to at least attempt to get to the demon inside of her thoughts and rip it out of her. Barbaric means she had to admit but this demon really drover her to think like that. Without further distractions the lesson took place.

Hanai Kashiyasu ` Hidden Void

Hanai Kashiyasu held back a yawn. She had been so caught up in her thoughts the night before, that she had spent hours staring off into space. Too late she realized that she would only be allowed two -at the most- hours of sleep before she had to head off to the academy. Now, as she stood outside staring at the place where her studies would begin, she felt a slight tug at the corners of her mouth. ~This is the place it shall begin.~ She clasped her hands behind her back, giving the place a mild scrutiny. ~This is the place where it all begins.~ She pondered these thoughts a little longer, before heading into the Academy.

It was a large difference from the world outside. Unlike out there, where everything was slowed and care free -the breeze playing with your hair as if it had known you it's entire life- inside was just the opposite. It rang of a new strangeness- sights, sounds and smells that she had yet to experience. It was a lot of difference from the cool, dark, quiet life style she was used to. And it was just as well, she would have no trouble blending in here. She would fade into the background, learning what she had to and moving along.

But it seemed as if everyone else had the same goal in mind -mostly. They moved quickly and with purpose, as apposed to her non- rushed pace. They were eager to get where they needed to be. Eager to perform their tasks and duties to the best of their abilities. She felt no such draw. As long as she met the requirements, she would be pleased. It would not do to strive and shoot high at everything. It was too much of a bother. And if she slacked off, she would not get to where she needed to go. So she would petal along, making sure to avoid shooting higher than necessary, or falling beneath her natural standards.

Class was well underway by the time she arrived. She listened to the instructor's words with an impassive expression. His voice held an odd, nasally jibe to it- she was sure many of her peers would make it the prime subject of their antics. Mimicking and making outrageous impressions. She felt their stares on her as she selected a seat closest to the shadows. The moment the shadows touched her, a sense of comfort and ease consumed her. She quickly decided to make it her permanent spot. She honed in on the words of her instructor as she took a seat, ignoring the occasional glances that were shot her way. They didn't bother her. Everyone in this class was getting themselves acquainted with their new surroundings. She considered herself, a part of that.

"...Henge No Jutsu, Bushin No Jutsu, Art of substitution, Tree Climbing, as well Water Walking. We will begin with Henge No Jutsu, a..."

She allowed her gaze to travel the expanse of the room, taking in the people around her. She couldn't help but wonder what sorts of things those very people would turn into, if anything. From the looks of things, she had a feeling they wouldn't be very exciting. They appeared to be the sort of people who went for small, non-attention-grabbing things, when it came to any aspect of their lives. She turned her attention back to her instructor.

Hanai watched as her premonition became reality. Her peers had no sense of thrill what-so-ever. The transformations consisted of the usual things: Cats, frogs, dogs, rats...even objects. She stepped forward when her name was called.

"Hanai Kashiyasu, let us see it."

She made her way to the front of the room. The eyes she felt on her were curious ones- she felt no threat. She slid her eyes shut, and slowly made the hand signs. She moved as if she had all the time in the world to spare. Her mind was focused on the image she whished to transform into. An image that had been reality to her, at some point in time.

" Henge No Jutsu! " She said calmly, her voice filled with a sense of power and ease.

A hideous squawk -one that echoed through the room like the cries of a wolf in the night and just as chilling- sounded in the front of the room. The large crow tilted it's head in an odd, avian way. Watching with cold, black eyes as the students in front of it stared. It rustled it's feathers and flapped it's wings slightly, uttering another guttural cry before it disappeared.

Hanai Kashiyasu stood in it's place.

Ikkoku stared at the tree that stood before him. If he was going to graduate, he was going to graduate with style. Learning to climb walls and trees with ease was a perfect match for him. Not only would he be able to gain leverage against an opponent, but he would also look damn good doing it. Granted, this technique was harder to learn than substitution or cloning, but he didn't see any need for that if he could simply climb out of his enemy's line of sight. This was what he wanted to do. Building up charisma, Ikkoku charged toward the wooden giant with determination. He was going to do it! He was going to do it! After a few steps up the trunk, he stumbled and fell flat on his back. He didn't do it. Crap. Thankfully there weren't any girls around to see him screw up. Slowly sitting up, he dusted himself off and thought for a few minutes. What had he done wrong? What else was there to this technique? It was just running, right? That was it! He had been thinking of it as running upward, but if he simply thought of it as running on the ground, then a simple mind-over-matter situation would fix everything! Leaping to his feet, Ikkoku backed up and readied himself for another go.

(Sorry about that. I thought clan members could use any clan technique as a starter as long as there weren't any special requirements. I guess I misunderstood the directions. I'll go change it now. Again, my appologies. sweatdrop )

Getting down on all fours as if preparing for an Olympic race, Ikkoku waited for any subtle sound to act as the proverbial pistol to signal his start. Hearing a distant rustling of leaves, the young shinobi sped towards the towering tree ahead, leaving a trail of dust behind him. Picking up speed like a locomotive, Ikkoku closed his eyes and tried to imagine running down a flat sidewalk with no obstacles to block his path, vertical or otherwise. Big mistake. Too late did Ikkoku realize that blocking his already impaired vision was not exactly a wise thing to do when running at top speed towards a colossal piece of firewood. Luckily, his forehead protector took most of the blow, but the impact was painful nonetheless. Lying on his back and rolling around in agony, the Sinobi clan member clutched his forehead and the back of his neck, fearing a case of whiplash to be the cause of that particular infliction. Okay, now that he had made an idiot of himself twice in one training session, it was time to sit down and seriously think about the issue at hand; how the hell did one climb a tree without using one's hands?

Ikkoku spent quite a few minutes contemplating on how to run up the tree. He couldn’t use sucking cups because that would be cheating and look downright stupid. Trying to dig his toes into the bark was a no-go, too, seeing as he didn’t have long enough toe nails or strong enough toes. Once he fully calmed down, though, Ikkoku remembered that even taijutsu involved chakra concentration. Of course! That was how it was done! He had to focus his chakra on the bottoms of his feet so that he would stay on the tree! But one question remained; how much chakra should he use? Too much chakra and the bark on the tree would break and he would fall off. Too little and he wouldn’t even be able to get on at all. Once the pain from his previous attempt had subsided, Ikkoku got up and focused on manipulating his chakra. You didn’t need good eyes for that. Hell, it probably helped to not see very well so as to increase the clarity of your other senses. Ikkoku lifted one foot to see how he was doing. Sure enough, some of the grass on the ground stuck to the sole of his shoe. Walking up to the tree, he slowly raised one foot to the trunk. Then the other. Then the other. He was doing it! Slowly but surely, Ikkoku was finally walking up a tree! Making sure not to lose focus from the excitement of his achievement, the young ninja proceeded up the tree until he was about 100 feet above the grassy land he was standing on just minutes before. Sitting on a sturdy-looking branch, he decided that as long as he was up here, he might as well practice one of his own techniques. Forming the appropriate hand signs, he began molding wind chakra so as to create a small golf-ball-sized void in which there WAS no wind. This technique had only been in the theoretical realms of practice so far, but if he could master it, Ikkoku would be able to weaken both fire and water-natured attacks.
