McKenzie had heard the screaming from Mr. Malfoy as the beatings began. Her anger was peaked as she charged the door, throwing her shoulder into it. The sealing spell kept her out though. She continued mercilessly, wanting into the room, tears of anger coming out her eyes. At Faith's pained scream, something within McKenzie was trigged, causing her wolf transformation to initiate. A low dangerous howl eminated from her as she crashed into the door, slashing at it and leaving gashes in the wood. The hinges began to weaken despite the sealing spell, the door cracking and splintering as it gave way.

*Despite the noise from outside, Faith's father was unfaltered in his torment. Faith lie on the floor, struggling for every pained breath she could get as she faded in and out of consciousness*
"Sounds like you and your little friend have something in common..." *He reared back and kicked Faith square in the chin, sending her rolling across the floor* "I should have killed you years ago, then maybe your mother and brother would still be alive. Perhaps I should just go ahead anyway, it will be no less than what you deserve." *He raised his wand and began the incantation to the killing curse*

If Kathryn was shocked at McKenzies sudden charged and attack she didnt show it. She moved to where Mr.Malfoy had droped his wond and picked it up, before snaping it in two and calmly moving and placing a soothing had on the wolf's shoulder.

"Easy my friend. To kill him will only end what suffering should be brout upon him" She said softly, her eyes smoldering embers of rage, but flickered with soothing water's of understanding

McKenzie had practically torn off the man's arm before Kathryn touched her, turning and growling at the girl and snapping at her arm before realizing who it was. She slowly backed away from the man, growling low as she went to stand over Faith protectively.

She growled low, but slowly moved to the side, watching as Faith was moved to the bed. She glanced at the frozen man, growling low at the slight of him. She trotted past him into the restroom, coming out several minutes later, changed back into a human and wrapped in a towel. She went over to the bed, where Kathryn was healing Faith, sitting on the side of the bed and watching intensely.

McKenzie frowned looking up from Faith to Kathryn. She didn't really want to leave. She carefully took Faith's hand in hers running her thumb along the back of her knuckles before slowly nodding and standing. She gathered some clothes before dressing in the restroom, coming back out. She placed a hand on Kathryn's shoulder, squeezing slightly and muttering. "Thank you, take care of her." She then left with a glance over her shoulder and headed to her classes to take notes for Faith.

Kathryn had did what she had said, taking minor care of Mr.Malfoy's injurys and erasing his memory, and planting new ones in, leaving the man unable to denie that he attacked Faith, and that Faith defended herself. She also made the wounds appapre to be done with a blasting charm and not by a wolf.

Teachers had came a took the man away. And she Kathryn said that she was heading to class when she heard screaming from down the hall and had came to see what was going on. McKenzie must of gone to class because she had not seen her there. She had manage to stop Mr.Malfoy from killing Faith the the forbidden killing curse. The teachers thanked her, leaving her been and she went back to cleaning up the mess.

That was what she was doing when she heard Faith come too. She said nothing, letting Faith come to on her own as she went about gathering the pain postin and water she had gotten some time ago
