i think the orks with be victorious in the end since they're starting to become more organized.

Maybe, or it might be the Crons.
More then likely the necrons as the C'tan only come to life to bring the universe to its knees and then go back to sleep... Also every battle the Crons are a part of is only a ploy to get the other races to do something they wanted done without the other races knowing it...

There is that, and the fact that the Nids avoid them at ALL costs. It kind of tells me something about them.
Actually the Tyranids dont like the taste... xd Peace, my eldar are tired of being just yellow...

Actually, more like green. xd xd xd

No, the Laughing god is one that is entirely seperate from the Ctans or the Chaos gods. I am not sure, but I think the Laughing god is still around.

Yes the laughing god is still around, he's an eldar god. I believe only worshipped by the harlequins.

No, worshipped by all Eldar, but his events will only happen when the Harlequins are around, because they are his priesthood, if you will, in addition to the keepers of The Black Library. 3nodding

Some people get confused about that, but it never actually called the Nightbringer the Outsider. I would suggest taking that to the Cron thread though. Anyway, like I said, all Eldar worship the Laughing God, but it is A VERY unusual entity in all.

well, i for one am relieved to hear that the Laughing God is in fact not the deciever. its nice to know that the eldar are still on top of their game.

by the way, whats his deal anyway? i mean, other than being the god of laughter, what role does he play in the grande scheme of things?

Well, he is similar to the Deciever, except from the way I understand it, he keeps the balance between all the gods, regardless of Chaos or no.

Yes the eldar can a be a challenge. Me I focus on small numbers toting big weapons.

Common Army list I use:

2 farseers w/singing spear, spirit stones, runes of witnessing, ghost helm
2 guardian defender squads of 5 w/starcannon
1 falcon with scatter laser and brightlance w/spirit stone and holo-field
1Wraithlord w/ starcannon and shuriken catapults, but I sometimes take flamers.
4 Dark Reapers

My strategy is to hole my guardian squads ina building or preferable a bunk with one farseer whilts my falcons go to key points and take out the biggest threats (ie tanks) while my wraithlor and second farseer march up the battlefield and my wraithlord gets h2h combat. Perfect against Space Marines. As you may have noticed I only have on aspect warriors squad.

I'm actually in the process of creating my own Eldar Group, called 'Final Guardians.' They aren't a craftworld but infact a fleet of volunteers from the various craftworlds. They do not believe in hand to hand combat so I'm purposely barring myself from using assualt troops. (ie Striking Scorpions, and Howling Banshees, as well as the Avatar) So thsi has given me a good challenge, I'm alos thinking of creating a for them called Marksmen; for a certain point cost (TBD) they can gain 1pt of BS for a loss of 1 ps of WS. This is to represent the fact they they train extensively with ranged weapons and not som uch the h2h aspect. Of course this is still in the planning stages at the moment.

One I was fighting necrons and I fired all of my weapons against a lone wraith (scatter laser, pulse laser, bright lance, then Shuriken catapults in that order) All but the catapults missed and I managed to score one wounds agianst it and it failed it's 2+ save. To say the least I was very surprised at that result.

Another time a chaos command retinue in chaos armour marched around a building and out of sight of my Starcannons. I think it 3 or 4 strong. As soon as my guns saw them I let loose with all of my weapons. All that was left after a turn and a half of shooting was Chaos Lord with one wound left and he then proceeded to kill my guardians who continues to pass their leadership tests when i wanted them to fail it. But also at the same time my Wraithlord was in h2h combat against his two dreads. I took the first down in two turns but left him with one wound left so he only survived one round of combat agsint his second but he died, from in the explosion. The guy I was playing with said that was awsome seeing our dreads go at it. (note; I know the wraith lord is not a dread)

Unit1294 Ghost, if your going to focus on range, why not get more reapers? only one? it just doesn't seem fitting. oh, and check out the war walkers too. even though alot of people might not use them to much, when you consider that they come in squads of 3 and can have 2 starcannons each (or whatever else you'd put there), thats not all that bad...
anywy, check it out if you feel like it.

my eldar army laughs at the SM. starcannons and a squad of reapers (i converted a missle launcher for him to carry - that means 2 krak missles that hit on 2+). im currently modifying my falcon so that it has a starcannon instead of the scatter laser that comes with it.
