Jaden felt slightly abandoned at the loss of Myyths weight against him but another part of him didn't mind that much. "Mmmmmhmmm..." Jaden had enough sleep but for Myyth's sake he settled down in a half-concious state.

Curling up comfortably into a ball, Myyth let her mind go blank as she drifted off, not really wanting to deal with anything thats was going on.

It took awhile but Jaden waited until Myythren was in a decent stage of sleep. Slowly, and with a practiced silence from decades of being the hunter and the hunted, he slipped off of the bed careful not to disturb her.
Jaden moved from the bedroom quickly in the same silence, but not before taking a pair of pants. He was feeling more of the wolf now, acting it too. Strange that he hadn't acted this way since becoming involved with the pack, that silent, deadly serious manner that he had greeted the two Lycan elders with at Demonic Ties what felt like an eternity ago.
Jaden really didn't want to involve the New York pack in his own affairs and so long as he could do something he'd help but right now he needed that to himself. Something was going on and he needed to find answers before more questions started appearing.
As was his way of doing things, he left by the window.

Jaden found his way back into the apartment as easily and silently as he had left. Instead of returning to the bedroom he sat on the couch silently.

Waking up a while later Myyth stretched and reached over to where Jaden had been earlier that evening. Not sure why he wasn't there, she sat up and yawned beore sliding out of bed. Her robe has found its way on the floor next to her bed,and she scooped it up and put it one. Wandering her living room she caught Jadne's scent before she saw him.
"Sleep well?"

Jadens black ears twitched from the sound of Myythrens voice. He turned slightly to look at her. "Not really. I got restless and went out for awhile." he said giving her a small grin. On instinct he attempted to hide the book he had brought back although this was difficult since the book was taller than most mens forearms and thicker than an encyclopedia, he found that he could at least put it behind his back with some concealment. "You looked peaceful so I didn't come back to bed."

Myyth yawned and nodded as she went into the kitchen and flicked her kettle on. She had seen the edge of the book, and had to wonder why the secrecy. Other than a slighlty raised eyeborw, however, she didn't comment on it. "I slept like a log, I didn't even feel you get up."

Jaden smiled to himself slightly. Maybe he had been just a little too careful last night. If she had slept like she said then he wouldn't have had to sneak around like he had.
A long, furry black tail twisted out from behind the couch since it was starting to feel uncomfortably tight to Jaden. He looked over a Myyth as he slipped the large book under the couch for safe keeping. His eyes wandered over the females form outlined by the silk robe. "You look very pretty this morning."

Myyth shook her head bemusedly as she finished up making her cup of tea and started to sip at it while leaning against the counter, facing Jaden. "Anything interesting that I've missed?"

Jaden flushed. He wasn't sure what that was supposed to mean but it made him feel guilty for some reason. "I don't know what you're talking about." he said shuffling his feet.

"Course not.' Myyth said with a degree of mock seriousness, looking more amused still by his reaction. Putting her cup into the sink, she worked her fingers through her hair and she started to walk back towards the bedroom. "Any ideas for breakfast?"

Jaden was worried since he really didn't understand what Myyth was talking about, but at the mention of food his furry ears perked up and his tail began to wag. "I want rabbit!" he said leaning over the couch and staring back to the bedroom. "Then I want a beaver and some snake."

"Somehow I didn't think I would be spending this morning holding up a pet store." Myyth laughed and continued into the bedroom. "I'll be ready to go in a couple minutes....."

Jaden pouted for a moment. "Damn steel forest. Not any other animals to eat that are small." He swished his tail gently.

Myyth had to smile at Jaden's steel forest comment, while she dug out some jeans, a back blouse and a tan colored mid thigh legnth trench coat. Pulling them on, she settled on rather sensible foot wear, int the form of some black leather flats. Turning into the bathroom she winked her nose at her hair, before twisting it back into a bun.
Leaving the bathroom, she walked back into the living room, and snagged her bag off the floor under an end table. Glancing up at Jaden she shrugged, as she popped open her bag, and after a moment's thought just took out a credit card, and stuck it in her jacket pocket.
"I'm sure we can run something interesting down, city or no."
