that would be alwsome, and i have a guestion, why does every one think theres a big balence issue?
A squad of Guardsmen can kill a squad of Marines one-on-one, and has VERY high-powered lasguns.
not, ive done play testing, and a marine can kill 3 guardsmen. a guard squad can kill marines if backed up by a chimara, but one-on-one its toward th'e marines. If the guardsmen squad was regenerating, then its possable. and the lasgun being strong represents overcharge.
stressed You can't continuously fire a lasgun at overcharge, and if you can, it should explode after a while.

i dont care for the new DOW its allright and the chaos korne beserkers are cool but other than that it sucks

I like the new maps, at least.
not all over charged, it fires slower then a lasgun shoud on auto, so its stroger blasts for less shots.

when youadjust the power settings on your lasgun to full you get really powerful shots but no very many before you would have to change your power pack. Now i would like to see them stop firing and make a changing motiion

Lasguns don't explode, they are not plasma weapons!

Only thing that can happen is that the battery shorts out due to the generated heat or that the barrel warps from extreme heat due to repeated firing. Baneblade lascannon barrels can only go a thousand shots before replacement. The weapon's casing can also become hot to the point of not being able to use it until the point of cooling down to acceptable temperatures.

Lasguns in a higher charged setting expend more power at the cost of better hitting power. It eats power, but it can punch through power armour. I am NOT talking in game terms here. At least the kasrkin pattern armour have dealt with the power problem by hooking up several packs to the armour of the trooper.

or you can look at it like this, the basic WA lasgun is low powered, but because the men CONCENTRATE their fire at one target at a time the shots pucker and break the armour.

I like the IG but that is about it. i hate that all chaos can get is a heavy bolter and on that note the baneblade is not that good for a super-heavy tank.

Yeah, if one thing has to change, it's the lack of other heavy weapons in Chaos squads, no offence, but it feels like the marines are being played favourites. Chaos preds also can't have lascannons anymore for no obvious reason.

Though I did (finally?) note that the Blood Thirster while in combat, regains health, as opposed to loosing it outside of combat.

There is a very good chance thats a mod. Though I am thinking of asking for DOW for Christmas. Then maybe I'll try to find the Tau mod
