Luckily I had a good Thanksgiving, but the past few days I've been kinda down so I've been sleeping more. I always have a hard time around this time of year. I know once January hits I'll be fine, it's making it to January that's difficult. *sighs* Well at least this year I'm actually on medication so that should help.

Not that I really know your life, but there is always support here.
My holidays this year are going to stink. My girlfriend and I split up a couple of months ago and we tried the whole staying friends thing, but now she is moving out and its going to be really tough this year. She has to drive half an hour or so from here and she has a free place to stay rather than having to pitch in if she stays here. All she'll have to add to her bills is cable. its closer to where she she works. I guess we are still friends, but I only see that fading when she leaves. I personally am not ready to move on, I know that's not healthy, but you can only be ready when you are ready and I am just not.
ANYWAY I am counting on Gaia and more importantly this guild to see me through. Everybody here is so understanding and so supportive.

Thanks. I have a lot of bad memories associated with Christmas, which is what makes it so hard for me. I'm sorry to hear that things are tough with your ex-gf. I wasn't able to stay friends with my ex gf, but then again I think she could be considered evil incarnate. You can ask Kasa, she used to be friends with her too. *shudder* And you have support here too. I hope things don't get too rough for you. And if you need to talk but don't want to in a forum such as this, feel free to pm me. I'd be happy to listen, and offer advice if that's what you need.

That is why I love this guild so much!
My ex still trying to figure out her life. I go back and forth between still wanting to be as much of a support system as she needs and just wanting her gone from my heart.
Last night she said that she never really believed I loved her with all my heart, which is ridiculous if you know our whole story. Some things can never be taken back and that changed something, forever between us.
I doubt there is much advice I can be given at this point except to move through the pain as well as I can and time heals.

No problem hun. Any time you want to talk, I'm willing to listen. And I get what you say about some things you can't take back. My ex had left me once before we broke up for good, she left me for someone else in another state (using the guise of getting away from her family no less). While I did eventually take her back when they broke up and she moved back, it was much different. I never trusted her after that.

I turned my heavy low whorl spindle into a supported spindle:  and  That's merino wool from Ashland Bay in the Midnight colorway. It's oh so soft and fun to pet heart I turned it into a supported spindle because, at three ounces, the spindle is considered heavy, and my shoulder can't support the weight well on account of having bursitis.

First of all, I am sorry for the bursitis, it is miserable stuff.
But Second... WOW!!!!!!!!!! That is some absolutely gorgeous spinning!!!! What are you planning on doing with the yarn?

Thanks. Luckily most days I can work around having bursitis, but some days (like yesterday) are misery. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the yarn once it's done though, it all depends on different things, like how it plies and drapes and whatnot. If it's something low twist that won't wear well then a scarf or hat or something like that. Hmm, on second thought, maybe something like that anyways, that would work out to be a pretty hat/scarf combination, and I have eight ounces of the stuff left to spin...

Ugh! So I wound off the above spindle before it was full to test it out, and it keeps drifting apart. which means there isn't enough twist. >_< Oh well, I'm glad I tried now, at least this way I can work on getting enough twist in without wasting a bunch of fiber.
