Back in the city, Alex was now wandering. She was busy trying to absorb the city life: It's looks, it's feel.. Everything one could. And she was hating it. She was beginning to see why her father had kept her away from this place.
Her father... So much had been going on lately, she hadn't any time to even remember him and reflect his life and the influence it had on her. Or even bury him. And these things disturbed her.
"Oh come on.." She growled, pressing the bottom of her palms to her eyes. "Keep it together Alex..." She mumbled, already losing herself to tears.

Alex slowly removed her hands, staring at Brad with bloodshot eyes.
