A young woman was doing some business at Marshall University and parked in an area clearly marked "no parking."
After taking care of business, she returned to her car to find a campus security guard writing her a ticket.
"Why are you giving me a ticket?" she asked.
"You're not allowed to park here," the guard said. "See that sign?
It says 'Fine for Parking Here.'"
"Well," said the violator, "I thought it was a fine place to park."
The guard began to laugh. The more he thought about it, the harder he laughed.
He tore up the ticket and waved the woman on her way.

There's the story about the man working the night desk at the FBI office.
They got a lot of wrong numbers, because it was similar to the pizza joint.
One night he answered "FBI." When the caller hesitated, he said "You meant to call Dominoes ..." The caller exclaimed "Wow, you guys really DO know everything!"

@Capt Kat- my hubby drinks cherry coke zero and I think its okay, but I perfer the vanilla coke zero. ^.^
@Rebo- That awesome about your cat and the baby. The cats are one thing I've been worried about when we finally get pregnant. I've heard alot of horror stories about cats suffocating babies because they curl up on top of them for the warmth. I was worried I'd have to get rid of them, or find something to put on top of the crib to keep them out. You're story makes me feel better about it- though I know I'm worrying about way too far in advance! razz
@Wraith- Consentrate on the fun of a party- not the money. smile I know I didn't join Gaia for the gold; but for the community. biggrin Though I won't deny I want that envelope!!!

(No offence to blondes- most of my family is blonde (not me though) and we pass around blonde jokes like wildfire. /end disclaimer)
So a blonde is out driving one day- just a long relaxing drive in the country to calm down after a long week. As she passes one field after another she suddenly spots another blonde in a rowboat in the middle of a field rowing her little arms off. Spitting mad the blonde pulls over, jumps out of her car and runs to the edge of the field.
"What do you think you're doing!" She yells at the 2nd blonde. "It's blondes like you that give the rest of us a bad name!"
"Why, if I could swim I'd come out there and smack you!"

Hey Dark Angel; I just bought a new electric-warming throw to use this winter, and I just made some apple cider. smile And I'm willing to share! ^.^
(I wish there was a way to transport goodies through the computer to people and *really share*.)
Anyway, we are all enjoying the party and I think most of us aren't worried about the money- just having fun. mrgreen

A dying man needs to die, as a sleepy man needs to sleep when gaia towns was first released ( i think in 2004) the servers crashed because SO many people were on towns! XD and there comes a time when it is wrong, as well as useless, to resist.

A dying man needs to die, as a sleepy man needs to sleep I do not think it is so much the greed, but I have a very low self asteem, and through my life i have only had betrayals and bad things happen to me. Sure there were good things, but i couldn't help but notice the bad! surprised I was always promised one thing by my dad and he decided to not ever grant anything he said. I do not trust easily, and besides that, I do not get on enough to make a good amount of gold, with inflation i really need the gold to get the items i want...
I am sorry if i was bugging and i am really in this party because it is fun, not just for the prizes (but hey i am not saying no to the prizes! XD ) and i asked once (maybe twice,but in one different topic) when i get my prizes, and not because i was impatient, but because so i knew if i needed to bump a bit extra that time, or if i could rely on the prizes so i can take a night off... either way i do not mean to be greedy. I have never been very greedy in my life, i am a very giving person! (hey i am wiccan! surprised ) and there comes a time when it is wrong, as well as useless, to resist.
