Anyone know good colleges/universities for psychology? My mom asked me what college I wanted to go to and I had no idea.

colon bracket In what country? Or what state? The U.S. Probably not too far west. I'm currently in the Midwest and would like to go East a little. I heard University of Michigan-Ann Arbor is good. I also heard it's difficult to get into.

You don't have a school counselor you could talk to? It also depends on what type of school you want to go to/the type of school you can afford. Private? State? UC? Community? Are you going to use grants, scholarships, financial aid, or maybe even pay for everything on your own? Then it depends on your grades, extracurricular activities, SAT scores, and maybe even ACT scores. http://www.a2zcolleges.com/Majors/Psychology.htmlCheck out the school web site and figure out their minimum requirements.

Mark, I have some friends who go to University of Chicago for Psych and love it. You get a lot of hands on research done there.
Just a suggestion. :]
Oh! Also, collegeboard.com has a little college search engine that helps you according to where/what major and all sorts of other nifty thingers.

O.o They do WAY more interactive research with grad students and other people in the field - not just professors - than other colleges do. I just meant that it seems like you get a lot of experience there as a regular part of the psych program. I visited the campus last summer when my sister was looking at schools and got really jealous since I'm a soc major and the two fields are so closely related...
You can check out the website, but it doesn't really explain as well as the tour did. :/ http://psychology.uchicago.edu/about/index.shtml
