Don't feel too bad, Pedigree.
I've attempted a lung-stab and since that failed I'm attempting an impalement. I was worried about the attacks coming across as over kill or too close to lethal. I'm trying to balance between staying non-lethal, and keeping the progression of the fight believable.
Because, yes, I could have gone for a weaker attack, but with the opening presented to my character, and the progression of the fight, to execute a weaker attempt would seem as though I were willingly giving up the momentum I'd built up until that point.
At least, that's how I saw my situation. I hope I don't get docked points for trying to end the fight and beat my opponent, rather than cut him slack and give him a chance to fight back.
We're being graded on control of the fight, after all. And there's a fine line between maintaining control and winning the fight, and going for overkill. I hope I don't get filed into the latter category due to my last post.

I was in a knock-out lock I didn't think I could maneuver out of, so I figured stabbing them was the best way to go, considering they did just have that hand in a lock, and they left it there free to stab and maim.

I wonder if they'll deduct points for paralyzing an opponent permanently.

I thought they might, and I didn't think I could do the kind of surgical stab that I'd need to do to sever the spine at the neck, and not cut through the major arteries and veins in the neck without killing him outright. So lung it was. @Garam - Done, but Iopurl folds under magic lol.

sweatdrop ..He is a flashy punk. More of an intimidation tactic than anything. Lets people know he has power. I do than in almost every fight if I dont get the chance to turn on the power
