"There's nothing you could have done, Matachi. You can't save everyone and unfortunately, some of us are fated to die young. Fate... yeah... then again, some of us are also fated to live the same life we have been. Rest easy." Black says as Matachi walks off, even if he couldn't be heard, he still needed to say it. Then he heads over to his room and lays down on his bed. Before going to sleep he reflects a little on the day. Why did Asami think it was him and Katherine that were meant to be? All signs so far have pointed him away. Maybe she was hiding something, who knew.

The next morning came and Katherine never woke. She just lay there in a seeming peaceful sleep her face still pale. Mel had went down to the medical wing after hearing what happend and then later that morning she knoked lightly on the Queen's door. She was worried what if both had died in the night.

Mel walked in then she went over to his side trying not to bother the queen. Everyone knew someone had to check on them he shouldn't have been up here. She was about to shake him when she noticed the blood from his wounds. No one had steched him. She quickly left calling for help they had him moved back down stairs. Mel personally sitched his wounds. She had a draft for the pain siting on the table beside the bed and then she paced.

Mel was worried she tried to wake him up a couple of times checked his brow to see how hot he was. Put a extra blanket on him. The medical people had already muddled there job by not sitching him so he had lost so much blood during the night so she didn't let any of them in. She had some training enough for time on the road. She was no herbal mother either but she knew what had to be done.

"I don't know what's wrong with her. She is cold yet breaths. She has no wounds yet won't wake up." Mel said softly kneeling down to him. "You i can help. They seeming to have forgotten to sitch you up so you lost blood last night." She handed him the cup it wasn't the same brew Katherine used for him. "Here drink this it will help with the pain." This drink wasn't bitter but sweet. to sweet.

It was stronger as well it would make his body feel lighter almost at once. "There not you will feel better. I will go fetch you some food as well." She spoke standing to head from the room. "don't try to move around i can't have you pulling stiches."

Katherine was cold to the touch as she had said before. He would also notice that Set was quite. He was there still but like Katherine seemed asleep. She didn't stir or even flinch in her sleep.

A little while later Mel came in with a steaming bowl. Stew hardty stew to, with frsh bread and just water to drink. After she layed them down she sat in a chair in the room. "I need to have both of you moved its not good to lay in all of that blood." Talking about all of the blood that had soiled the blankets and sheets. "After your done with that i will have them move her and you to change the sheets."

Matachi nods as he slowly sits up again bringing the bowl to him, for a second it looks like he was gonna eat but seems that wasn't going to. He just stared at the bowl for abit "I was too careless." He says speaking about what happen yesterday. He sees black walk in from the corner of his eye.
