Kipcha pranced around him, nipping his coat. She pulled on his forelock and touched their muzzles again, this time for longer. Her tail was held high and slightly off to one side.

Ghost snorted and began to walk slowly along her side. He paused at her flanks, then seized his chance, quickly giving her what was soon to become his foal. A few moments later he was grazing again, his tail swishing around.
Evander rolled onto his side and hoisted himself out of the river. A small but visable amount of steam was hissing off his heated body. He approached Freebird. "You don't look so good...what have you eaten lately?" He asked her, lowering his head to her, concerned. She seemed to be in alot of pain.
((ooc) Whatever happened to Elven? I thought she was also playing Tainted Love, the new mare? question (bic))

Kipcha stood still for a minute, allowing things to settle. When she stepped forward she left behind a set of hoof prints. She joined him, lowering her head to graze, but not eating much. She stopped grazing and laid her head over his back. "Is this your first foal?"

Ghost lifted his head from the grass and reached over to her, nuzzling her shoulder. "Yes. I thought I told you I've been alone my whole life until now." He said, smiling teasingly. He sighed and looked up. The sun was beginning to set. "You think we should head back now? It's getting late." He said, looking in the direction of the river where the herd was.
Evander looked up, worried about Freebird. "Where's Ghost? He's better at anything medical than I am." He began to pace close to Freebird. The sun was orange, dancing on the water's surface. Twilight was rapidly approaching.

"Yes we should, it wouldn't be a good thing to get caught out here at night." She lifted her head from his back and started to head back towards the river and the herd. "You'll make an excelent father."

Ghost walked beside her and nuzzled her. "Thanks, I hope so. You'll make an excellent mother as well." He said, beaming at her. He snorted and tossed his head around again. "Shall we run? Or shall we continue walking?" He asked her, putting a bit of a prance into his step.

Kipcha nickered and smiled at him. "You don't need to hope, I know that you will be." She nipped at him and took off towards the river. "Come on Ghost." She pricked her ears forward and streched out.

"Well then, I guess this makes you lead mare." Ghost smiled affectionately at her. He laughed when she took off and half-reared, bunching his muscles. He then bolted after her, catching her and staying beside her at a gallop. They reached the river and he slid to a halt, laughing. He then saw Freebird on the ground and Evander pacing around worridly. He trotted to Kipcha's side and looked at Evander, pure concern in his eyes. "What happened to her?" He asked him, folding his wings onto his back. He looked around. "Where is everyone?" He asked, wondering if he had left the herd alone to long.
Evander looked up as Ghost and Kipcha came speeding towards them and sighed in relief. He snorted and stayed by Freebird's side. "I don't know what happened to her, she just suddenly laid down and looked like she was in alot of pain. She says she thinks it was something she ate..." His voice trailed off, but quickly regained it. "Casper and Dreamcloud are up near the jungle, they're fine, I went to check on them and Diamond is napping on the grass a ways off that direction." He said, motioning toward the direction she was in.
Ghost nodded and glanced sideways at Kipcha, then walked forward to Freebird. "Freebird, what have you eaten recently?" He asked her quietly, but this didn't look like food-poisoning to him. She looked exhausted.

Diamond shot her head up when she saw eveyone go over to Freebird. Deciding to give the mare some space, she trotted towards the mountains, back where she had met the soupisios bay stallion. She climbed the mountain carefully making sure not to miss her step. The sun was going down fast, and Diamond felt proud now standing ontop of the mountain's edge, her mane blowing in the wind as she closed her eyes. She swished her tail, hoping she would see the stallion again.

Kipcha quieted instantly, flicking her ears back. Freebird looked too old for her age and she was worried that it was more than food. She gave Ghost a worried look and dropped her head to nuzzle the mare. "Where does it hurt?" She folded her legs and laid next to Freebird, hopeing to give comfort and support to the mare.

*Freebird looked up at everyone around her, barely moving her head rather than her eyes. She looked down again in a bit of pain, it was passing. She thought back through the whole day and then into yesterday.* Nothing..Not since yesterday...And that was just a bit of grass...
*Casper backed away from Dreamcloud and still felt like a stallion, maybe he was, maybe he was just mature for his age. He motioned with Dreamcloud out of the clearing and out of the Jungle. They trotted back to the herd together. They passed by Sepsis who stood up and began following a few strides behind them, back to the herd.*

A deep short growl came from the mountains just behind Diamond. Diamond ears perecked up but soon they where pinned back. She turned around and saw a mountian lion. She was growling and was about to launch onto Diamond's back. Diamond reared up and backed up a few steps almost falling off the mountians as rocks tumbled behind her. She lost balance and screamed in horror as she fell off the mountains. She screamed for help but know one would be that fast to get her. She closed her eyes thinking of all the ones she ever loved and was sure this was the end. She flashed back though her mind when she was a filly.
The bay stallion heard Dimaond from where he was in the mountains. His ears perecked up and listed to where she she was screaming. He found the way and bolted out of the mountains and jumped off the clift soaring his wings up in the air and bolting downwards as faster then ever. He soarded under Diamond and caught her just in time, inches from the ground where the now dead mountain lion was lieing. He flapped his large handsome wings up to the top of the mountains and gently laid Diamond on the ground supporting her head.

Ghost looked up and saw Casper, Dreamcloud and Sepsis approaching, an irksome look on his face. He returned his attention to Freebird. "Just grass? Alright, well, get some rest. You could use it, Freebird, you look exhausted." He told her, nuzzling her cheek lightly. He then raised his head and looked back at Casper and Dreamcloud. "Where've you two been? You've been gone all day." he asked them, a bit sternly. He was finally starting to feel like the lead stallion. He then looked around again and sighed wearily. "Alright, where's Diamond?" He asked, an annoyed look on his face. When she returned he was going to have to speak to her about this wandering off business.

Kipcha nuzzled Freebird before standing. She took a spot next to Ghost her ears turning in different directions. She thought she picked up some sound from the mountian. "She shouldn't be wandering off by herself. At least you guys didn't go alone."
